I visited Kid to Kid twice in one week and had an overall good experience. The first time I just stopped in to kill some time and picked up a couple of items for my kids. Most of the stuff they sell here is really great quality and is reasonably priced. For my youngest I got two pairs of pants and a long sleeve shirt, and for my middle I got a pair of jeans and brand new Halloween bow by the checkstand (they gottt me), all for $25. Definitely affordable! I stopped in later in the week to drop off a huge tote of clothes that I've been discarding as my youngest has grown out of them. The selling process is fairly easy - you drop off, they process the clothes, and then give you a call to let you know how much store credit or cash they'd like to offer. I decided to take the store credit offer because it was definitely decent and because I know I'll be back to shop again! It's also nice that whatever they decide they don't want/isn't in season, they'll donate to local non-profits so I don't have to handle picking it up and dropping it back off somewhere else. The store is organized nicely and they have a ton to look through for all ages. My only gripe is that each time I've gone in, the staff hasn't been the friendliest. Retail definitely can be hard work though, so it's possible they were just having overwhelming days. Looking forward to returning and shopping again!

I walked in to return 5 small items to the Amazon kiosk. A young man was helping me and had scanned…read moreone of the items. Then a young lady, Felicity, took over. The issue was that I stood there for a solid 2 minutes, no communication, while she fiddled with boxes. I finally said, 'can you finish taking my return?' She replied, 'I have shit to do first.' I said, 'excuse me?' I asked for her Manager. The manager (Heidi) came from the front of the store and was polite at first. Felicity kept saying things under her breath as Heidi continued to take the remaining items as returns. Heidi stated that she couldn't believe Felicity cursed. I had zero reason to make all of this up. There was then a customer behind me. When Heidi finished, I walked towards the front of the store. I stopped just behind some racks so they could not see me and Felicity said 'I don't know why she lied.' To which Heidi stated, 'don't worry about it. People don't need to speak to our associates that way.' First off, Heidi was nowhere near the kiosk when all of it initially took place. Second, I did not even raise my voice. Third, there was another customer there. Fourth, you are the General Manager and are acting this way? No wonder your associate was so out-of-line. She learns it from you and you encourage it to keep happening. The formal complaint is being sent. This was a ridiculous situation.

Being the fortunate recipient of a coupon to the store (Hey, a good deal is worth checking out, right?), I decided to head on down to the newly expanded Southcenter to check out their new Coach location. The store carries a nice selection of the season's newest creations. They also had a small men's section (something that I hadn't noticed before, but was pointed out by the staff to my not-at-all-interested husband many, many times). I was bummed to find that they didn't carry the baby bag in store, nor did they seem to have anything that would fit the description of tote that I was looking for, but the salespeople were really nice and helpful in helping me find something that would work for my laptop (I was on the hunt for a tote big enough for my laptop - kind of a new work bag but functional for things like long weekends). It turns out they also have a few things in the back, so if you're looking for something and it's not on the store floor, don't be shy to ask. They can also order you pretty much anything from the catalog and have it shipped to your home, free of charge. Overall - a great sales experience. While Coach isn't the cheapest place to pick up a cute handbag, wallet, or other accessories, I do love the look and the quality of their items, so I keep coming back. The fact that the staff are so helpful makes it just so much more fun to shop.
