Polo Customers please pay attention to the unsanitary conditions of the salon! The manicuring tables are dusty, and there is no concern for cleaning between clients. They use plastic bags in the pedicure bowl but never clean or wipe them, also pay attention as the gentleman named Hi, provided a pedicure, then slid over to my pedicure with the same dirty tools and towels. Needless to say, I had to request clean towels and tools and explain to him this was unsanitary. There was no spray cleaner in sight - he had to go to the back room to get it. I also noticed that the owner goes the extra mile in using terms and expressions from our community. It's unnecessary, just be yourself as I am sure you don't speak that way in your culture. This does not win brownie points and is annoying. Examples include, "Hey girlfriend." The entire conversation was sprinkled with fitting into the black community. Then reverted to her language and laughed speaking to her coworkers. This is demeaning, just be yourself. Polo Nails should be fined and mandated to clean and maintain sanitary conditions. The unsanitary conditions clearly express that they don't care about our community, they come in and provide low service and we accept it. Ladies wake up and run from this nasty salon. It is not good business/customer service to give a customer a shape up and polish change and call it a manicure, meanwhile all the residue from the soak off is still on my hands. The pedicure was done by a sweetheart who seems to be very young so the pedicure was not too great but it'll do... it should've been $105 but she charged me $115 she tipped herself without asking lol I won't be back my money spends everywhere. I stop by this shop to get my nails done before I leave for my trip to LA. I have always known about Polo nails because this was the place I used to go to when I was younger. When I walked in they started on me right away, which is extremely great! Most nail shops, you are waiting for a long time if you aren't one of the firsts to arrive when the first open. I got a fill and my toes painted for a decent price. Though I believe there was a little miscommunication of what I actually wanted. I wanted to get a full pedicure but they only painted my nails. Which was fine, I will go back to get the full spa pedicure later. The service was quick and I love my nails- the shape and the color. I will for sure be back. This probably will be my nail place for now on. read more

Well they are rude and very unprofessional and you'll see that when and walk and and watch how the women nail tech treat the customers when they let them know that you don't like their attitudes. Like today one of them had a really bad attitude and I asked her to watch how she's talking to me when I'm paying she just sat there and started cutting her nails then got up. Customer service sucks. Manager messed my nails up. She cut them to short. I asked her to fix them and she ignored me. Polished chipped after 1 day. Decided to get acrylic on my nails because with the weather change my nails seem to be breaking quicker...went to polo nails because I had gone previously a few years ago and was pleased well....the nail tech asked what I wanted I said an acrylic overlay and was asked to pick out a polish color, then he proceeded to work on my nails. He was quite rough in handling my hands and when manually filing seemed to be going to close to the edge of my nail. I was not pleased with the outcome of the color and I was not pleased with the service or pricing (which seemed a little steep) because my nail beds felt tender upon completion. I began to realize a day after my cuticle area on a few nails still seemed tender and red and when one was bumped at my desk it began to bleed. I immediately applied Neosporin and aloe vera which began to give relief after a few days. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! read more

I have to agree w/other review. HORRIBLE. I went in for a repair due to fungus. Got a very young guy, he went to pry off the acrylic nail with a nail tip - no soak, no file down. I asked him if he could soak it off because I have very weak nail beds. He jumped up w/an attitude, said something in another language & walked away. When he came back he was going to direct me to another table but I asked him if it was a problem. Rudely he said "well since you're scared for me to do it..." Incredulously I started "I'm not scared but.." I just got up amazed by his attitude and said never mind and left. I could not believe how rude he was, his attitude, what he said & all. I walked out, but he & 2 other techs were laughing. Had I not been in a good mood it would have been a different story. DON'T GO THERE. I am the paying customer, I should get what I ask & not be talked to that way. I am so sick of these folks talking to you any way they want. STAY AWAY, Don't be treated this way by anyone. read more
