The salon is very tidy. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and welcomed as I advised it was my first time. I was able to be assisted without a wait, which in most cases is a Christmas miracle. Vincent did my gel manicure and was so friendly and personable. Gina did my pedicure afterwards and came over to greet me while Vincent was finishing my nails. Gina was very accommodating and was very personable and attentive as well. I opted for the spa pedicure, which included callus removal, salt scrub and hot towels in attention to the usual nail filing, soaking and polish. I was given my choice of coffee or water. I've come here I think 3 or 4 times over the past two years (not because I go elsewhere- just because my life is hectic and I'm lazy) and I always love my look better than I ever have before - as in ever in my entire life. It's crazy how much hair can change your entire aesthetic. I usually don't come into hair appointments with much of a direction because I have absolutely no knowledge of what "works" for me and I think that's exactly what Jackie excels at creating. Additionally, I've always been told that I shouldn't go blonde because it would look bad with my dark eyes and an olive-y (not my words- I think I'm pale lol) skin tone. Well since no one likes being told what to do I decided I was going to try it and Jackie NAILED IT with the color - it looked so wonderful on me and I personally like it better than brunette me. She gives you a realistic expectation of what she thinks she can achieve while still keeping your hair healthy and won't tell you that she can do anything she doesn't think is viable. Neither of us thought we would get my hair as light as we did so it was a pleasant surprise :) Aside from talent, this saloon is super welcoming and the staff seems to genuinely get along great. They have all your boujee hair care needs with Kevin Murphy products (if you have super dry hair you neglect for months on end like I do they're a necessity). While theirs may be an ATM close by, in 2025 next to a college town it's difficult to imagine why they would stick to a limiting their payment methods. People don't carry cash and don't want to have to do an extra chore just to pay you.
