Ok.... So.... Hear me out. I was so excited to try this place for a pedicure. Had been wanting to go for months. I finally managed to get myself scheduled & put the time aside to try it. The establishment really is lovely with sliding garage style doors that open for a wonderfully open, airy atmosphere. I loved that feature. It's beautifully decorated & clean. Very chill vibe with a cocktail bar & menu! (Nice touch!) I genuinely enjoyed my sparkling Rosè while my feet got pampered! I do have one *major* complaint however.... Something I had a very hard time with & was really a struggle for me was they don't have proper pedicure chairs. They're just regular chairs & a large basin for your feet that IS NOT SECURED TO THE FLOOR, so I spent the entire service with my legs tensed because I was trying so hard not to push this huge water basin full of soapy water etc onto the lap of my nail tech!! Despite my efforts to prevent the basin from pushing towards her lap, my poor nail tech had to continually reach up & push the basin back towards me because it was perpetually sliding all through the service. When I expressed my apologies for its sliding, she stated "it's fine, she's used to it." She was very sweet but this frustration really took away from me being able to relax during the pedi because my legs were so tensed & I was so worried about the basin splashing into her lap! Olga & Anne Marie were just so wonderful! this was my first visit to Manifest, I booked for my birthday and I got the dazzle dry polish for mani pedi with a chilled delicious glass of Sauvignon blanc! Best day ever! Originally, I booked this thinking this would be a special occasion booking only because it's quite a drive for me...however, this polish lasted 24 days on my nails and it's just now starting to chip ! If I could give them a zero I would! I went to this place for gel nails and a pedicure in November of 2024 the day before my Atlanta trip. The technician talked in out of the gel and told me about a product called Dazzle nails. She told me it would last a week, but it started peeling off in 2 days. I spent $144 for the 2 serves. I complain so I was told I would get a full credit for my service for that day. I have it in an email. I called made the appointment that happened today had the check for the credit under my name. I went today and after my service they tried to make me pay $150 for my Gel X nails and pedicure with no credit reduction because they couldn't find the information in the computer. Apparently the manager Jamie didn't put it in the computer. Luckily I had it in an email. They had me wait while they helped other customers & made everyone think I was lying. I found the email & finally after 30 plus minutes the clerk read the email & said I would get the full service credit. I tipped the technician and left with the understanding I would only pay around $29 which was the difference ; they would charge it to my card on file which by the way i never gave them permission to hold my card on file. After I left I got a call from them that Jamie said I only get a partial credit for $45 so they charged me $106. This place is over prove with mediocre service! During all the time, while I was standing there waiting for that clerk to find some mention of my credit in the computer, she took a phone call of a customer who was running late. She told the lady on the phone that they will charge her card for the full amount of her services today and they couldn't take her later that day because they had no more appointments. Then she said, I can book you for another day but we won't comp you what we charge you today. There late fee is the full cost of the service you would have had! I'm sure that's against the law! They are charging people for services they didn't receive. It's crazy! Here the late fee policy they send you after you book an appointment: "On Time Policy: In order for us to best serve our clients please arrive on time. Appointments will be canceled and charged a no-show fee of the full amount of the service if you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your booked appointment time. Arriving late may result in having to adjust your requested service. " (But they still will charge you the fee of what you scheduled to have or if they say they can't see you the charge you for that service). DO NOT GO THERE! They are scammers! read more

Went to Manifest on a Thursday evening with a friend to do some light studying while pampering ourselves. Well worth it. *Book in advance For a regular manicure and express pedicure for two, I recommend you book at least two weeks in advance to schedule your preferred time. We booked ~4 weeks out for a weeknight reservation that suited both of our schedules. *Plan to come early or stay late to enjoy the ambiance. We arrived about 20 minutes early. This gave us ample time to take off our coats (they have a coat rack at the entry), pick our color, grab a seat at the bar, peruse the menu, take a few sips while doing work. *Great cocktails Stephanie was at the bar, and she makes a great cocktail. We ordered apple butter bourbon, a cold weather take on an old fashioned. She had makers mark, woodford reserve, and bulleit. I went with woodford. Not too sweet, whiskey forward, and you're able to appreciate all of the flavors. Wonderful. * The selection for regular (not gel) polishes is limited. I was hoping to paint my nails green, but there were only 3-4 options. I saw the perfect range of shades in the gel selection, but alas nothing similar in the non-gel polishes. They do have other pretty colors, so be flexible. * This place is a great experience. It was not the best non-gel manicure or pedicure I'd ever gotten, but when you put the rest of the pieces together (the decor, the staff, the drinks, the conversation, the Van Aken location, the amount of time I spent there, and more) that for only $70 I felt amazing. It was probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had at a nail salon. I'll definitely come again with a friend for a night of cocktails and pampering. read more

She was so professional, courteous, and fun to talk to. My nails came out looking beautiful. We also had a conversation about my nails being weaker and she put on some nail protein before applying the polish to help strengthen them. Horrible Quality. For the price of their services the quality is horrible. My 6 year old brother could've done a better job than what I got. I asked for red French tip, but after they were done I realized that I didn't like them. So I told the lady doing my toes I didn't like them and that I wanted my toes painted fully red instead. She looked at me and said that she liked them and thought they were cute, then proceeded to continue doing the red French tip. They even charged me extra for the French tip. But look at this quality! It turned out so UGLY! I'm so upset. It ruined my mood for hours. I have a special event to go to and now I have to redo my toes myself. The only reason why I'm giving this review two stars is because even though the lady who did my toes didn't listen to what I wanted, she was a sweetheart. She was super friendly. Update: My manicure fell off after SIX DAYS. Most expensive and worst manicure of my life. The $60 luxury pedicure doesn't include a massage - and I left with rough feet. I actually have no idea what was supposed to be luxurious about it. And the $40 gel mani looks terrible. I have a big glob of nail polish on my thumb and crooked paint lines at my cuticles. And once again no massage. It's an insane amount of money for one of the worst paint jobs I've ever received. I came her to be pampered and I left feeling robbed. This is for Manifest at Van Aken District 10/10 would not recommend TLDR: I paid $80 for terrible and inattentive service FROM THE OWNER, JAMIE, while watching my friend receive great service as she sat next to me. My friend and I had reservations for pedicures at 6pm on a week night. We ordered beverages. My friend received her drink and was seated while her attendant asked her how the water was and they started to chit chat. I was told by my friend's attendant that I could start soaking... my own attendant nowhere to be found. I received my drink. Still no attendant. Then, FINALLY the woman who handed me my drink (Jamie) started my pedicure. Jamie was also responsible for bartending, greeting guests, and answering phones among other tasks as I discovered. How did I find out? Because she left me to go accomplish these tasks multiple times during my treatment. My pedicure started late, ended early, and was quite honestly the least attentive service I have EVER received from a nail salon. I think the worst part was watching my friend receive methodical, attentive, and friendly service while I received the opposite. Hell, I would not be writing this if I had even received just OK service. Saying "I really like your color choice" multiple times does not make up for the fact that this was truly a terrible experience. Upon checking out I paid around $83 for a drink, tip, and about 30 minutes of service out of a 60 minute pedicure. Jaime didn't ask how my pedicure was and I'm assuming it was because we both know it fell short. I've been to this place about a dozen times now and it's just EH... the service isn't great.. when you walk in the lady at the bar just ignores you for a few minutes before getting you seated and the techs make NO effort to make you feel comfortable, no effort to make small talk and frankly the price you pay for a less than average pedicure isn't worth it. This review is for the new Van Aiken location. I went to the newly opened Manifest on Van Aiken in Shaker with a four person wedding party. We spent almost 3 hours there for very expensive mani-pedis. It is a very stylish/trendy looking place but comes at the expense of comfort for the clients. As in, you have to hold your arms at awkward levels during the manicures and the pedicure stations are not comfortable - especially for shorter women. However, the worst was the manicurist that did the brides nails. She made her cuticles bleed. The cuticles were still red and puffy the next day for the wedding. She also put the tackiest nail art on a couple of the brides fingers. We were so tired and hungry by the time she finished, we left and got lunch then the bride went to a different salon to get her nails fixed. Do not go there. read more

Visited Manifest yesterday for the first time. Amazing salon! Great energy, decor and very clean and tidy. Having a full bar serving craft cocktails is amazing and I felt like royalty all afternoon. All the staff members were professional and accommodating. Casi is my stylist and she does absolutely phenomenal work. A true artist and surely a master of color. What you should know: Cons: - She a voicemail that is full and she's always out of the office...so good luck... - She doesn't check her emails so you'll have to send your paperwork (in which you have clearly listed number of people and all services you are requesting) to her multiple times... - She will call to confirm services a day before your wedding and not know that you wanted ALL the services that come with her bridal babe (e.g. hair, makeup, manicure, pedicure, and champagne) package...so therefore she will not have enough time to complete the services that you sent to her several times but it's ok because her paid in-house bar is there to make it all better... - It's expensive to be a bride... Very bad experience. I went on February 22, 2022 for a pedicure and gel manicure. I asked did they remove dip and they did not so I scheduled the services with the knowledge that I would have to soak it off myself. Went to the appointment and received a pedicure a gel manicure and 2 cocktails. My bill came to $160! I was caught off guard but hurried and paid my bill. I immediately called back in and explained to the young lady that it said that I got a luxury pedicure and was charged $5 for gel removal twice, once for my hands and once for my feet. I thought this was ridiculous because I had removed my dip at home and I did not request a luxury pedicure. The receptionist told my that they always charge for gel removal regardless and they only give luxury pedicures unless asked. The luxury pedicure was $60 plus $20 for the gel I usually get on my toes.... I was shocked. There was certainly nothing luxury about my pedicure and when I called back to speak to the manager she said their luxury pedicure was like most salons regular, which is fine but I should have been told. The manager gave me a $25 credit to use on another service which I later found out was used to repair the gel manicure that I had done. My polish chipped the next day and 4 of my nails spilt before the end of the week. I made another appointment for the following Tuesday to get it repaired and I was charged $20+tax. I paid it not knowing that they had applied that $25 credit from the last time. Today, I called to make an appointment for a pedicure and asked if I could use my credit and the manager, Lauren said it had been used already for the gel manicure I got on March 1st. This time I wasn't shocked. Even after explaining to her the past situations she insisted that I used my credit and there wasn't anything she could do. She wasn't rude or nasty but I told her to did not want to schedule and that I wouldn't be back. She was fine with that because she was busy with other customers.... Unfortunately. This new location downtown, in the 668 building, needs more recognition and will be my new go-to location, and gentleman, this spot is for you to. For services catering to both men and women, Manifest is perfect for special occasions to a fun night out. We decided to come because of their amazing 'happy hour special,' which was posted via their social media account on Instagram @ManifestCLE On a regular day, blowouts are $40 dollars, but because it was their happy hour special, we only paid $25, AMAZING. With a full-service bar, you can order a drink of your choice to make your experience that much better. They only accept walk-ins, but you can sign up to be a member for a rather expensive cost, but you then would have the ability to schedule appointments. The black and gold decor allows for all to feel welcomed, whether this is your first experience or you are a regular, Manifest will make it feel specialized for your requests. The pictures do not do this space justice because it is very large. They have a list of their services all in the little black books on the tables, which range from head massages to blowouts, or even the barber shop in the back (appointments needed for this). While I was there, my girlfriend and I had blowouts done, while our other friend had a pedicure. We were all very pleased with our services and would recommend them to all. After talking with the owner, who is very outgoing, welcoming and energetic, she informed me that they will be hosting parties, dating events, amongst other fun social gatherings, which I cannot wait to attend! I've been here twice, once for a mani and once for a pedi. Both times I've had relatively the same experience. The staff members are so loud, it's like they're just hanging out with each other instead of working. I walked in and all the workers stared at me...finally I had to say I was here for my appointment for them to check me in. It was weird. The workers were all on their phones or talking to each other. It was the opposite of relaxing. Their regular and gel nail polish selections are sub-par. Most of the regular OPI colors weren't even on the selection wall, while the shellac and opi gels were limited in color. The lady doing my pedi was pretty gossipy about other clients she did work on, all negative comments. Again, the whole place lacked professionalism. I get they're trying to be a hip and cool place, but the music doesn't have to be blaring, the workers shouldn't be goofing around, talking loud, or on their phones in front of their clients. It makes me feel like they didn't even care that I was there, paying $ for a service. The pedi was done very well, except when she when to use a top coat it was stained bright pink over my lilac nail polish. She made a joke about "not liking that bottle" but didn't offer to fix one of my nails that is now lilac with a weird pink overlay, instead of just a clear top coat. I honestly don't know if I'll ever return, I was hoping for my last experience to be different than my first one. Sigh. read more

I was happy the first time and so was she but I was very disappointed the second time and she was disappointed the two times after her first. The concept is exceptional. Drinks while getting nails done? Amazing! No appointments necessary and I've never had to wait? Even more amazing! But the quality? For a 25 dollars manicure I don't expect to bleed from my cuticles. I would say maybe I had a bad manicurist but my friend was bleeding during hers as well (in more areas than me). I am perfectly fine with a dry manicure but they must not use enough lotion bc we both were in pain by the end of it, and honestly the paint job was sub par. The girls were very apologetic and nice but not what I have come to expect honestly. Worst Manicure Experience EVER. Was there for the first time with friends for a special occasion we had that evening. We booked pedicures and manicures - the "manifest" which claims it comes with champagne and hot rocks etc. Let me say - this is the most expensive manicure I have ever had but assumed it would be worth every penny. Unfortunately - not the case at all. My friends and I never received champagne nor were offered any. In addition only one of us received the hot rock treatment. When I had my manicure - I noticed the polish was not drying and was bubbling. I believe the top coat they used had a reaction with the polish. I had to ask them twice to redo 2 nails that looked bad. I stayed under the dryer for 20 minutes and still they were not drying at all. We brought it up to them but I could tell they wanted to close up. We left the salon and not even 20 minutes later my nails continued to bubble and still would not dry. I took pictures to send to them but never heard back. I would NOT recommend this place due to the horrible manicure and attitude from the staff when trying to get a refund / resolution. If your going to charge this much for a manicure - you should be using top quality polishes and recognize when something isn't right. I had to go buy polish remover and go to my event with no polish on my nails. Should have gone to my regular salon that charges a third of the price of manifest and gives an amazing manicure! read more

I came to Manifest for a pedicure before my wedding to pamper myself. After my nails were painted my friend and I hung out for around 20 minutes to finish our drinks. We then left, still wearing our pedi flip flops and toe separators, and walked to a restaurant right next door. At this point, I took a picture to send to my other friend, and it looked great. We ordered apps and dinner and hung out at the restaurant for almost 2 hours. When leaving, I went to put my sandal back on and my entire big toe smeared. This was about 2.5 hours after the pedicure. My nail was either not correctly prepped or the nail polish that was used was crap. I paid $90 for a pedicure that I had to take off and reapply myself for my wedding.
