I went to see Melanie and she gave me the prettiest highlights that I have ever had. She has an amazing eye. She picked the perfect golden color for me. Then she weaved the highlights in so expertly that nobody has even noticed that I had highlights done at all! This is big for me. Very important. I like that it looks natural. She also gave me the exact cut that I asked for, and lots of advice on growing longer and stronger hair. There is no way that I am going back to my LA salon... I feel that I will look and feel better if I just wait until my next trip to Cleveland to get my hair done at Sisu. I like all of the staff that I have met. They all seem to keep up with new styles, and the other customers leave looking good. You park in the back, and it's next door to J. Pistone's market.

The establishment really is lovely with sliding garage style doors that open for a wonderfully open, airy atmosphere. I loved that feature. It's beautifully decorated & clean. Very chill vibe with a cocktail bar & menu! (Nice touch!) I genuinely enjoyed my sparkling Rosè while my feet got pampered! I do have one *major* complaint however.... Something I had a very hard time with & was really a struggle for me was they don't have proper pedicure chairs. They're just regular chairs & a large basin for your feet that IS NOT SECURED TO THE FLOOR, so I spent the entire service with my legs tensed because I was trying so hard not to push this huge water basin full of soapy water etc onto the lap of my nail tech!! Despite my efforts to prevent the basin from pushing towards her lap, my poor nail tech had to continually reach up & push the basin back towards me because it was perpetually sliding all through the service. When I expressed my apologies for its sliding, she stated "it's fine, she's used to it." She was very sweet but this frustration really took away from me being able to relax during the pedi because my legs were so tensed & I was so worried about the basin splashing into her lap! Manifest, PLEASE get some proper pedicure chairs!!

I made several comments that I wanted it much shorter and that she could maybe take a razor and take out some of the bulk, but all she did was gaslight me, make excuses, telling me my hair already has a lot of layers. I was never offered the complimentary hand/ arm massage which was a disappointment, and I walked out with the same bad cut I came in with. After much thought, I decided to call to request either a refund or a redo with a different stylist. I'm glad I called because they were able to match me with a master stylist a couple days later who gave me the exact cut I wanted. Holly was so wonderful, and she really listened to what I wanted. I will definitely be going back to her. I gave them 4 starts because my initially visit was such a nightmare and I had to go back.

The price is the best I've seen in Cleveland and they give student discounts, which, in addition to client pics online and a good location, is what primarily drew me here. However, I do recommend double checking with your stylist about how much you will owe -- I went in thinking the price would be the same as online, but was charged more, so even though it's not very expensive, I would recommend double-checking. I got a very standard trim, and Jordan did a great job taking off all of my dead ends. I perhaps might have liked more layering than what she did, but she respected that I wanted to be able to pull all of my hair back into a ponytail, which was still very much possible. The main downside was that she waited far too long to straighten my bangs, so by the time she wanted to do them, they had already dried in a super weird way and needed to be re-wetted and re-dried before she could trim them. I told her this was going to happen, since I have super thin hair, but I don't think she believed me. But overall, I got a really nice cut, and will likely be coming back.

One of the…read morestylists constantly complained about one of my relatives long hair, saying it was too long to style and asked her why she hadn't cut her hair. My relatives hair is down to her lower back. On top of that, the stylist tries to charge extra for washing and blow drying my relatives long hair just because it was long. Rude stylists and staff, when we called to discuss this behavior with the owner, the girl who picked up the phone would not put us through to the owner and gave fake excuses as to why - saying the owner had clients all day but at the same time was not present in the salon. We will never come back to this salon.
