Today, I had the pleasure of having a pedicure at Diamond Nails & Spa with Tammy. The place is nice, however, the pedicure with leg massage is super! This is the first time that I feel a nail tech took time to massage the leg, get every aspect of my foot and provided the hot towel. I really enjoy this place! I've been here several times for a manicure and pedicure and each time I leave throughly pleased! I didn't have to wait at all, I got there around 3pm on a Monday, and was on my way out a little after 4p! For a gel manicure and traditional pedicure, I think that's pretty good! I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who did my nails, but to be honest all the technicians do a great name. Okay, so I was happy they could take me without an appointment... And upon initial inspection, the nails look ok. I got an acrylic set with gel polish over. I had wanted a UV gel set, but it seems they didn't know what that was, didn't have it, or maybe didn't understand me. The issue arose when I got home and took a better look. This was not but 30 minutes after I left the salon, I could see a gap between the tip and the free edge of almost all of my nails. It seems the nail tips weren't placed/glued correctly. I don't normally have my nails done, so for me, it's a big let down when I pay $60 ($50 for the nails plus a $10 tip) to get something like this. They do look good from the top at least. I hope they don't fall off too soon. read more

Worst pedicure I've received. Didn't use any type of cleaner for the pedicure tools and no plastic bag in the pedicure bowl. Very rushed job and drilled my gel instead of soaking off with acetone. I still had leftover gel on my nails and the tips are sloppy. read more

I take my self care time very serious. I recently visited Diamond Nail Salon for a pedicur . Upon enterin, I noticed many children there. in the middle of my service, I noticed one of the technicians go to the back and grabbed a new born baby. The baby was screaming. the tech gave the baby to another CHILD to console. The other child was on an iPad with the volume up so high, I couldn't even enjoy my service. If you want to relax and enjoy your time alone without children, especially in the summe, I suggest you not go to this establishment. read more

I had a full set of acrylic nails done for myself and my daughters for a wedding. They were done on a Wednesday afternoon- the wedding was Friday. The nails were literally falling off AT THE WEDDING! I had to hide my hands in pictures. I went in first thing Saturday morning to show Michael not only that the nails had fallen off, but I brought them with me so that he could see they weren't broken they weren't cracked they weren't damaged. They had literally just fallen off he refused to give me a refund and told me he would just fix them. When I explained that fixing them wouldn't help because the wedding was over. He said well that was his only option they don't refund anyone ever. I spent almost $300 getting everyone's nails done on Wednesday. He refused to refund me the $60 for my nails that fell off on Friday. I will never go back to diamond nails and I highly suggest no one else goes either . read more

I normal go here for my gel mani/pedi, however the last time I had a service my gel chipped w/in a few days. I was pretty upset seeing I asked the tech to seal the tip of of my nails, she didn't. Today I go in as usual as a walk in and the was 1 lady waiting before me a lady making an appt for tomorrow. I sign in the gentleman at the desk doesn't greet me or acknowledge me. So I have a seat and begin reading my book. The man proceeds to take over a service. Another lady walks in the gentleman greets her and suggest she picks her polish. Now, after about 12mins of sitting here the man comes up ask if I had an appt. I explain no I never make an appt., he then asked what I was getting I explain. The gentlemen says well everyone has and appt. One lady as gone to be serviced and it's my self and the lady after me. I asked why didn't he address me when I came in, I've been sitting here for 15mins. He so rudely turns and starts talkinging to the staff as if I wasn't there. Poor service! read more

I went after getting the groupon for the shellac manicure. It was easy to make an appointment. Walking in, you notice how clean and fresh the place is. The employees were friendly, skilled and did a great job. They were excited about the salon and showed us all around the place. The prices (without the groupon) are very reasonable and they offer a discounted rate for regular customers. For basic things as manicures/pedicures, massages, facials etc, it is a great place. A++++ for this place! I live down the street, but have never been in. Recently, I got a shellac manicure from somewhere else. I needed to get it off and *fast* because it was chipping and I wasn't able to go back to my regular salon. I went in to see if they could do it. Immediately after walking in I realized how gorgeous the place was. I never imagined it looked so nice inside! It looked absolutely adorable, and the man working was extremely friendly. I explained to him that I only wanted to get the shellac off, nothing else. He kindly sat me down immediately and wrapped up my fingers. He took the polish off with serious care, making sure all the nails were in foil long enough and never scraping too hard so my nails would not be damaged. Even though I had never been in and there were other people there, he prioritized getting my polish off. At the end, I asked how much I owed him, and he was nice enough to give me the service for free! I was expecting to pay $20, so it was really, really a pleasant surprise. I immediately booked my next manicure for Diamond Nails - there customer service is certainly top notch, and I look forward to getting my nails done there! read more

OMG! Best Nail Salon in the area! Same prices as every other salon, but here you actually get what you pay for. I can only speak for the pedicures. New, clean chairs... they also have smaller pretty pink chairs for the little girls! Clean stations, great array of OPI polishes. Great massage. You get a bottle of water when you come in, too. Went here for the shellac manicure and pedicure via groupon. The pedicure was very painful because she was rubbing so hard with the pumice stone. The appointment felt rushed and the service was not very friendly. My reguarly scheduled appointment was switched for a different time without me knowing. I have heard of this place through friends to get a pedicure. I waited here for 15 minutes and then an addition to 25 minutes in the chair waiting for a pedicure. The water from soaking my feet wasn't being watched overflowed in the bowl and it got all over my purse and shoes. My pedicure looked great though, so it's hard to really give this place lower ratings. But, I don't know if I'll be back or not. read more

I have been going to this salon on and off for the last 3 years and have generally been pleased with the customer service. There are several salons closer to my home but the quality and care I received at Diamonds was good and I would make a point of going whenever I was in the area. However, after my last experience I will NOT go back nor will I ever recommend this salon to anyone ever again Michael gave me a pedicure an inadvertently left a small piece of toenail in. It caused me a great deal of pain so I called and went back in ,he said he could remove it. He was initially very responsive/ understanding but,was concerned that removal would cause bleeding and asked me to come back in about a week once the nail grew out a bit . Sooooo that is what I did , When I came back it was as if he had no recollection of what he said.. He was preoccupied and indifferent . Told me I needed to soak, I needed an appointment and needed a new pedicure????? I know "stuff " happens and it is not whether or not there is a problem but how and if the problem is resolved ... Michael's insensitive and abrupt manner is not something I will soon forget and the salon has lost my business! read more

The gentleman who did my manicure was great! However, the lady who did my pedicure cut some of my toenails WAY too short - my toes actually hurt! When I went to pay one nail tech yelled at me that I did not have cash to pay and that I would therefore have to pay the tax.... When I told her I did not have enough cash she continued on saying I should leave my wallet (minus my card) and go to the bank to get cash..... I was in town visiting for work and needed a fill in. The Yelp reviews had me thinking this was the best nail salon in town. I travel across the country and have visited salons from all over and I wasn't at all impressed. The man who acknowledged me when I came in acted as if he really didn't want me to be there. I arrived at 3pm and they didn't close at 7. The writing on the storefront says "walk ins welcome" so I thought I had plenty of time, even if I had to wait. I could barely hear what he said after he asked me if he could help me. I said, "fill in" and he looked at me like I was speaking another language. So I then asked if I could get a fill in a little louder. He paused and looked at me crazy again, mumbled something in another language and I hesitantly took a seat. Some woman comes out and looks at me and then the chair. Guess that was her way of telling me to sit there. I looked at her as well to let her know I actually could speak and hear. She does my fill in, knicks me a couple of time and giggles (that mess hurts and I was hardly amused. She then asked if I was cold. Umm, no lady, my finger hurts and I would like to let out a small howl but I'm trying to be polite and contain my annoyance! Ugh) After I survived that part with what was left of my cuticles, she told me to wash my hands so I got up to go do so. When I come back, the same man who "greeted" me at the door was now in her spot. I looked at him as if to say I wasn't done and he looked at me and then the chair as if to say sit down. (Seriously I can't make this up. They didn't seem to like to talk much so I just decided to follow suit.) He sloppily and hurriedly threw on a clear coat of nail polish and then pointed me towards the corner where dryers were located (that I couldn't get to easily because other clients were already there and the corner seats didn't have much room to squeeze past). The polish he put on didn't reach the edge of my nails which agitated me further and by this time he had moved on to another client and didn't seem to care if I was even still there so I didn't address it. I just wanted to get out of there. I had to ask them if I could pay so I could leave (which they use the Square card reader via an iPhone so be aware you don't get a printed receipt but you can request an emailed copy via the app). I hate feeling like my business isn't appreciated. I never saw the lady who knicked me again. Guess she had more important customers to tend to. I won't be back here again. read more

I went in for a groupon shallac manicure. Maybe because it was a voucher they didn't give me the full manicure experience? He didn't fully remove my polish, so I have flecks of a dark polish underneath the nude color that i chose, making my nails look dirty. Also, he barely shaped my nails, and didnt ask what shape I wanted. Finally he painted all over my cuticles with the topcoat, and because of that the polish hasen't lasted. Its chipping and I'm about to take it off only four days later. What a waste of money. read more

I have visited this solon several times and loved my service. This evening my daughter and I stop in at 6:12 pm. The door was unlocked, and the sign still read open. We signed in and sat down. No one said anything to us; then the male nail tech begins telling his customer that he was going home and would not be taking any more customers. He waited another 5 minutes to ask us what wanted. After stating our services, he said they were close and told us we could come back another day. WELL, NO THANKS! It was a very embarrassing moment because my seven-year-old daughter asked me why wouldn't they tell us that when we walked through the door. And why would you ask what services we wanted if you didn't care to provide them? It's obvious we aren't the type of clientele you prefer. We will take our business elsewhere. read more
