Below is what you call potato wedges. Hahahaha what a joke. Never again. How can someone give this to a pick up customer knowing they won't find out till they get home, at that point tent won't return. Real smart.

the interior of a restaurant

I work in the area and had an hour break so I decided to stop here while on break because I was craving pollo tropical and I am glad I did. This location however can get insane when it comes to waiting around because it gets so busy during lunch time from all the offices around the area. I was going to drive thru but a coworker told me they wait FORTY FIVE MINUTES once and I decided to park and go in because when I was there the line was insane for the drive thru. The interior was nicely decorated and it was very clean from the little bit of it that I saw. The open kitchen was cool to see because you could tell they kept that area clean as well. I was a little confused because so many people were standing around so for a few moments I had no idea where the line started and ended to place an order for food. After finding it, I waited to get called while I looked at the menu. I decided to get the mojo pork with rice and beans. To my surprise it also came with a little bread roll. The roll was generic but soft and it was great to sop up some bean sauce with. The rice was very nicely cooked and had the right amount of chewy to it and wasn't too sticky like other places. The beans were seasoned nicely but nothing to write home about. My only thing that upset me was the mojo pork could've been drained a little more because it was very oily at the bottom of the container they put it in so I didn't eat all of it because of that reason. A nice location and good prices, I will probably come here again on break if I am craving it again, however I wouldn't go out of my way unless I was doing a mobile pickup so I can beat the line and save some break time.

Not sure why people waste their money coming to a place where there is flys over the food and the service is not taken seriously. They love to mess around and banter instead of working on your meal. I've waited here for over 30 minutes just for a meal when there was no one in the restaurant. Horrible location not sure how they stay in business.

2 stars because the chicken is good. Otherwise they do not provide all items you ordered. Recently ordered 2 meals 1 half chicken and 1 boneless, the boneless chicken breast was not in the bag. Also one of the sides was fries but I got yucca instead.

Good bread and tasty, but sandwich was hot in some places and cold in others! Uneven!!!!

I was so looking forward to this! Service was very slow and uneven inside. Parts of my Chicken Cuban Sandwich were hot and other parts were cold. I asked for extras sauce... meaning the mustard-mayo sauce! I got salsa instead. The place could use a good cleaning! My sandwich was good... would be GREAT hot!! I'll try again!

I asked for green sauce and got a bunch of red sauce

How disappointing. Only two people in line and the woman taking the order standing up with the iPad couldn't even even get mine right. I came Friday may 3rd around 1 pm, told this woman that I wanted the family meal with extra Verde sauce, green sauce, and she supplied me with extra red sauce, which I didn't ask for. When I opened up the bag there were a bunch of spilled black beans everywhere. It's almost as if they did it on purpose, such a turn off

Pollo Bites - basically boneless wings not sauced up. I eat it with BBQ sauce.

This Pollo location is right by my office. The line is very fast and not busy at all. The chicken here recently is always fresh and the employees seem happy to help. This is a big deal for drive thrus. Sometimes you go to a fast food drive thru burger joint and the guys ear and nose hairs are a mile long. PS - try the "Pollo Bites" it's like Boneless wings Update: Pollo lost a star for putting in the wrong sauce. I asked for Curry Mustard & got salsa. The Salsa is great and may get it again!

This location is very dirty. No one cleans the tables outside and the tables are not 6 ft apart. Very unsanitary.

This was my first time in 15 years coming back to try Latin American Grill in Pembroke Pines…read more When my family used to live in Pembroke Pines, I remember stopping by to grab colada and sandwiches for quick lunch every weekend with my friends before going out. It was one of more affordable lunches for us back then. Not much has changed in all the years. The food quality is still decent, the prices are still affordable, and the customer service is still friendly. It was a nice experience to stop by for a simple breakfast and colada. It helped me reminisce about my life from years ago, how much has changed for the better now, but still missing how some things were back then. Maybe it wasn't a simple dining experience for me today, maybe motivation for me to check in on some people from way back then to see if they are still doing well. Thanks Latin American Grill for still being at the same location and reminding me to reach out to people I haven't spoken to in years. They offer plenty of free parking in this plaza. I would recommend this place to others and maybe be back next time I am in Pembroke Pines area.

This long standing Pines eatery was quite a pleasant experience recently. I had the seafood jalea,…read morecrispy plantain strips with the garlic crack sauce , yucca mojo and black beans. Everything is so fresh! The jalea is piled high with lightly breaded shrimp, squid, fish bites and lobster tails! More than enough for 3 people to share. The sides appear under seasoned at first taste but the flavors really sink in during leftovers that reheat well. Be forwarded this is family style portions so if you order a lot of it alone it's more than one meal for you. Empanadas are crispy and fresh and generously filled. Chicken soup is under seasoned and the chicken is dry I would pass. Fried fish is a generous portion that also reheats well! Juan is an amazing manager that cares for his staff. Service is just ok, I think Spanish speaking may get you a more warm & genuine experience. The restaurant is clean and large with a winding bar area. Beer and wine and fresh OJ are available among other refreshments. They are doing it well here.

To my surprise when the counter called my name there were two 1/2 white chicken orders. I think that needs to be made more clear, also the kiosk doesn't allow any options for substitutions of any of the sides. That is the first issue. Biggest issue. Once I explain the issue at the counter, they advise me that because I odered at the kiosk, they can't process a refund at all. So I am stuck with two orders. It makes no sense that the counter person can't issue a refund. What if the food is bad, or gets returned, etc? No options. Hopefully management can review this and make improvements. I almost forgot, I found a hair on the black beans, which they promptly replaced.

The rotisserie chicken stood out, juicy, flavorful, and probably the highlight of the meal. Portions were decent and filling, but the overall experience felt a bit like fast food, quick service, simple presentation, and not much ambiance. It served its purpose: a casual, satisfying meal when you're hungry and on the go. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again, but if you're nearby and craving something hearty and quick, it's worth a try.

We were going on an Eastern Caribbean cruise and Port Canaveral was the place we need to embark on…read more So we flew to Miami from the bay area and stayed a few days at my husband's cousin's house in Miramar. She was actually going with us to the cruise as well. When we got to her house, had a little chat then off we went to this place per her recommendation. We were starving yes but it did not disappoint. There's 7 of us so we ordered different dishes from the menu. Cuban sandwich. Tamales Con Lechon. Croquettas(Breaded ham paste). Thursday lunch specials- Skirt steak. Roast pork Lechon asado. We shared some from everyone's plate to get a taste of everything. I love their smashed crispy plantain too. Their garlic bread was ok for me not really a fan. Everything were delicious but I wished we ordered and tried their desserts though. We just had their Cuban coffee and that was it. So goodd!! We just got so full and couldn't afford to stuff our face anymore lol! I love plantains and I just got a couple of pieces from my sister in law's plate. The service was kind of a little slow but it was worth it I think. We enjoyed the place while waiting and they have a full bar anyways. I love the interior decor and almost every part of the furniture is curated. The place is a little huge so it's really good for big groups too. I highly recommend them if you are craving for Cuban food. Parking is great as well. There's so much space. Price reasonable. There you have it! I hope you enjoy dining there as well as we did!

We instantly regretted our decision after ordering our food. Our server was not friendly and welcoming. The bread didnt come out until after our entrees arrived, and I also had to ask for it to two different people. Tall guy in a server uniform poured water in our cups without any greeting and rushed away. I had to ask for straws and more napkins. I ordered the baby churrasco and our server asked how I would like my steak cooked. I answered medium well but when it arrived it was cooked to medium at best. I had also ordered boiled yuca with my meal, which is one of my favorite sides to get at Las Vegas Cuban cuisine restaurant. The yuca was hard and not cooked all the way. The onions on top were raw and hard textured like shredded cabbage. The server never came by our table to ask if everything was okay. She walked around in circles like she was lost and was first day on her job. I had to ask for a check. Only then she came by and asked if we were okay. I paid cash. The bill was $62 and left $18 tip. I don't think I will be coming back to this location ever again. The experience was upsetting. When customers go to restaurants, their expectation of decent food and decent customer service should be given and not sought after. I don't recommend you go to this specific Las Vegas Cuban cuisine in Pembroke Pines location unless you look Hispanic because they will discriminate and give you different kind of crappy customer service and whatever cooked food.
