Loaded Nachos - gooood! And huge - enough for two!

I'm so sad to say that Pollo has gone downhill since my last review. I have been there twice in as many weeks and have had a bad experience both times. The ingredients in the soup have changed, special orders are now a burden, and the staff is rude. I have a condition where all I can eat sometimes is soup. Pollo was my go-to because they had the best soup around. I used to ask them to put the chicken on the side because I have to monitor how much meat is in the soup. They always so sweetly obliged me and put the 2 pieces of chicken in some tinfoil and wrapped it on top of the soup. Last week when I went, it was like I had asked them to murder their sister. I was met with rudeness and resistance to accommodate this request. They finally did, but when I unwrapped it at home, my chicken looked like something the dog had torn up and all that was left was a pile of bones mostly. This week, they decided to leave the chicken out all together, so I paid $10 for some broth with cabbage in it. I also got no salsa. As for the soup, when I first started eating at Pollo many years ago, the soup contained 2 chicken pieces, 1/2 of a very large skin-on potato, and a small corn on the cob, along with some smaller veggies as well. They soup is now celery, cabbage, onions and tomatoes...maybe a small piece of potato, and chicken IF you're lucky and they put it in there. I mean...the name of the soup on the menu is CHICKEN SOUP. Might consider changing the name of your soup if you aren't going to include it as an ingredient. Plus $10 for veggie soup seems way out of my price range for a meatless soup. Very disappointed. Now I don't know where to go for soup... :( PS - Pollo Regio Customer Service contacted me. They offered me 'points' towards my next purchase if I download their app. HUH?? What a joke. How about offering me the chicken I paid for and didn't receive? Disgusted with the customer service and the entire corrupt business now. Done!! *** SEE PICTURES OF CONVERSATION ATTACHED.

I luckily had cilantro at home because what they gave Wasn't enough.

First off looongest drive thru wait ever!! I ordered #8 NO ONIONS, no jalapeños,... only cilantro, lime (asked for extra lime & avocado) waited 20 mins for my order at the window. I got zero lime, zero avocado, two different kinds of onions and cilantro. Very disappointing. I won't be going back to this location.

Half Grilled chicken can fill two and its at a good price.

So I'll like to begin that my family has used pollo regio for catering on family gatherings and it's always been great. Today we decided to finally give them a try ourselves. We got the half grilled chicken added some sausage links, overall this was enough for both of us. The meal was affordable and even more so, delicious. The chicken was amazing! The ranchero beans tasted authentic and the rice was good too. Beans needed a bit more salt but they were kind enough to provide a small package in the bag. The salsa wasn't spicy but it was zesty, the green one was specifically good. Don't bother with the links, they weren't anything special, too salty as well. I got this meal to go and even though it was all in one bag, everything was well secured, no spill whatsoever. Unfortunately, there was one issues, their customer service could be better. I literally waited 9 minutes standing on the front counter until they finally acknowledged me. I ordered ahead of time and could even see my food but the staff literally ignored me. Seems they were more occupied on the driveway than the single customer in the store! Regardless, the food was good and everything was in order so I can't be too mad. Improve the customer service and I'll be sure to come back for that delicious rotisserie chicken. Let me just say that I don't really like chicken all that much but this place changed that for me.

We each decided to try one of their plates of chicken tenders. The food was very tasty. A bit of spice, but certainly nothing overwhelming. Fries were delicious, biscuit was among the best I've ever had at a fast food place. All around, just a very nice time. Staff were friendly, place was clean, all in all I just have no complaints. I'll be eager to return here and try some different selections. Menu is small, but specialized. No frills, but also no fat in need of trimming. They do chicken, they do it well, and I think you'll enjoy it if you're a fan of fried chicken and southern style comfort food.

(+1*) Bo's sent me a reward for a free biscuit, reward would not load into my order. Plus app does not allow you to order a side of gravey or jelly. Out of the 4 locations, this one wins the dirtiest of them all. Only 2 tables were clean. All the other tables you could see crumbs, trash, and sticky spots on table tops. NASTY! One shimmer of hope, this location actually got our food out in 25 minutes. Still too long of a wait when your the only customer. Went to get flatware, straws, and napkins all empty. Then had to go back to the counter to ask for a plate to eat my biscuit and gravey. Far as I could tell only two people were working. The young lady was working both the drive-thru and front counter. One cook, trying to cook. The person I assumed was the manager, stood in the lobby area watching traffic go by on hwy. The biscuits were at least hot but slightly over cooked. Super brown tops and bottoms. Edible but not enjoyable. The round potatoes were undercooked and not even warm. Actually kind of soggy and wet inside, and we still had a 25 minute wait. Those rounds should of been hot and crispy brown. Then the big let down was the tea was super weak, somone did not steep long enough. I'm not sure Bo's is going to make it in Texas. Super long wait time for food, kiosk and app incomplete, and constant inconsistent quality of food. Never know what you will get, if you ever get your food. Although I like that crisp crunch of the chicken, I'm sticking with Chick-Fil-A, no more Bo's for me. How hard could it be to properly manage a limited item franchise?

This is truly authentic, comparing to video. This smaller version comes with one meat, and they have a larger version!! --that comes with 3. I've been driving by this place for a long time but didn't find it until I was looking for Mexican restaurants in Burleson. This not in town but on my way to work. And it's easy to miss, very nondescript little building in from of some warehouses, but that doesn't make it less awesome. Come try it!! There is this one terribly negative review on here, which being wildly different from all the 5 stars, with NO 2s and 3s, it made me want to stop here even more. And I'm very glad I did. I just happened to have extra time and it's well worth the time and search. Sweet family atmosphere and nice people.

It's a small, family-owned spot serving truly authentic Mexican food. The portions are huge (we easily could've shared a plate!), and everything tasted incredibly fresh.i had the wet burrito with red sauce, half chorizo and half carnitas on a homemade tortilla. The chips and salsa come out with refried beans, mexican cheese and a red and green salsa. It was all great but I loved the Spicier green version the most. I can't wait to go back and try breakfast! They're open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though they do close at 6 p.m. most days. If you're craving great Mexican food, I highly recommend giving them a try!
