This place was close to where I work so my coworkers and I decided to get lunch. I was so surprised they offer FREE delivery on their website. It was very convenient and easy to navigate, especially since we cannot get out of the office. They use Doordash for their delivery service btw. Order took 40mins to get to us which was fine to me. We ordered 8pieces of grilled chicken with coleslaw, corn salad and tortillas as sides. It costs less than $25.00 which is reasonable. We still have some leftovers. The chicken is very juicy and not as bad as I imagine (since there's so many bad reviews) didn't really love the coleslaw. There were too much mayonnaise in there. I feel like the cabbage is drowning in mayonnaise. Corn salad was okay. I love the cheese in it. My coworkers said they're gonna order again soon bc overall, it was not that bad. read more

Went there for the first time and they messed up my order. Called and Tonya was more that happy to correct my order. Went the following week and sure enough my order was corrected. I recommend the grilled chicken as it is packed with flavor. My daughter said that the fried chicken was so juicy and delicious. The plantains were also perfectly cooked. The flavor of both their fried and grilled chicken is the best. It's better than Popeye's. Its even better than Harold's Chicken Shack in Chicago. I haven't had such flavored, near perfect chicken in a long, long time. Their mashed potatoes and gravy reminded me of the Swanson's Meatball, Gravy, and Mashed Potatoes TV Dinner from my childhood so that was a bit of nostalgia. I have been to pollo campero since I was a kid. I love love LOVE the fried chicken. It's always warm and juicy and the flavor reminds you of Latin America, with all the spices and smells. It's a little taste of Central America. This is the closest location near my home and honestly it is amazing. It's tiny and can be slow, but really, the food is worth the wait. From the beginning, the floors were sticky. I placed my order and it did come out promptly but the quality of the food was horrible. The chicken is described as grill however it tastes boiled. The rice was cold. The sweet plantains were the only thing that were warm and good. As for the drinks, there was a limited amount of horchata and mango water. Wished I could have more. Once we were about to leave the cashier was going to put some more out and was called back to the register. So he had to leave the water (with the top of the bucket opened, inviting whatever bug, lint, that was flying around). And the worst part about our experience was the silverware. I went to pick up a spoon and to my surprise there were about 3-4spoons that were extremely filthy. They still had rice stuck on them. That is just insanitary!!!! I brought it up to the mangers or whom ever was the person dressed in all black and he said "ohh thank you" and offered me plastic spoons. He didn't even bother to check the rest of the utensils. I have been here three times and they always leave something out of the order. Today they really did it and the service was very bad. Went in to get lunch and their line was out the door with only one cashier ringing. This took twenty mins for me to get to the front counter to place my order and another 15 mins to wait for the food. I tried to order the camperitos and they told me that the employee who made this one food selection was not in to cook this item. I am a general manager myself, and I don't understand why they don't have people cross trained and why they even have to rely on one person. I then tried to order the grilled chicken sandwich and was told by the cashier that this item was no longer available even though it was on the menu they have posted up as an item to select from.
