I first found her Instagram (@daisynails_collierville) and sent her a DM and she responded so fast! Sent her a picture of the nails I wanted and she set up an appointment for me. I even had to change my appointment and she was super friendly about it. I went in and she's renovated the whole place it looks great! I didn't wait for more than a minute before they had me in my chair. Super fast and friendly. I usually don't talk to my nail techs ,I just like to enjoy my manicure but I couldn't help but talk to her she's so sweet and funny. I even ended up talking to other people in the salon it was a great environment! I broke a nail a few days later, totally my fault I smashed it in a book, but I just DM'd her on Instagram and she got me in the next day to fix it! Again super fast and friendly! I really wanted to give this place a better review because the nails initially looked good. But…read morewithin a day they have already started chipping at the tips and they didn't fully remove all the polish underneath my nail and around it so it just hardened on my skin in the uv light. I got the ombré dip with a light pink into white tips. Communication is unclear as everyone working there seemed to speak Vietnamese, but they seemed to know what I wanted and I just decided to trust the process. (So communication from me to them was clear, communication from them to me was unclear but it worked out). I would have forgiven a lot of issues like: -nothing was sanitized -at the end the guy literally just started scraping the excess polish off with his bare nails -they left polish on my skin because the excess polish wasn't removed -when they used an airbrush technique to create the ombré effect combining white nail polish with alcohol, it essentially became an aerosol so I was probably breathing in small alcohol and paint particles But since my nails are already chipping the fact that the nails looked good walking out of the store and they were quick and took me as a walk in (on a really slow afternoon). In the picture you'll only see a small chip but if you saw in person, many of the tips have tiny bits of wear that I would expect to see after a week but not a day.

There were three bottles of soap at the sink but only one had any soap in it. Then proceeded to give me a bad French tip. He wiped it off and started over. My nails are VERY short now. Almost below my finger tips, they were over the tip by a good bit. Then he slapped some lotion on my hands- no massage and put a little cuticle oil on. Then when I went to leave , they couldn't figure out how to give me a receipt. The cost was $40 for the manicure and $10 for the French. That is all. I gave no tip. I will NOT be back and would NOT recommend.
