Love my set!! Usually i go for gel x extensions but I opted for the builder gel set this time to grow out my natural nails. Steven did an amazing job with the french tips and shape of the nail, I wanted a more square shape even though my natural nails are more rounded. The service is so friendly here and i felt like they took the time to understand what I wanted and the french tip looks so perfectly done. I'll have to come back when i'm in the area for another set :).

This is my second time going to Steven and he does not disappoint! The salon itself is also very organized, stylish and spacious. I like to come early to appointments and said I was okay with just waiting when I came 15 minutes early but they were happy to start on me early! Both Steven and Hannah are so kind and talented, I feel like there's nothing that they can't do! I definitely recommend Polished to everyone

They immediately make you feel so comfortable when you walk in. Steven did my nails and he did an awesome job! He is really detail-oriented and takes his time. Trust me, I have been to so many nail salons and I felt the most comfortable here & loved my nails the best here. Im so happy that I found this nail place! The studio is clean, welcoming and beautifully decorated. There's no issues with parking and I love the modern vibes inside. They also play amazing music, which I was singing along to lol. I got a pedicure and a full set. Steven is meticulous and took his time with my nails. I love the way how my French design came out. He listened to all my concerns and curated whatever I had in mind. My pedicure was amazing as well and it was so relaxing. I got the basic pedicure with gel and it came with a callus removal and a sugar scrub! I definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back.

This was by far one of the best nail experiences I've had. Steven for me in at 6pm and stayed late to make sure my nails were absolute perfect. He was meticulous in my nail care and design. The salon was clean and had an amazing atmosphere. I will for sure be returning!

Went to get my nails done yesterday at Polished Nail Studio after researching for nail salons on Yelp & noticing how they had a lot of positive reviews! I was slightly nervous since I was mostly used to Gel-X but wanted to get back into gel builder nails since it is healthier for nails. Hence I decided to try it out to get a new set of nails for the New Year. Steven was the gentleman that did my nails, he was very patient, friendly, & understanding of the color scheme and design I wanted. Thank you Steven for staying longer than expected for my set of nails, I appreciate your time & your service! The vibe & atmosphere inside was relaxing. This nail salon is now under new management for those familiar with the previous owners (Cindy and her family) - myself included. I used to be a semi-regular customer but took a six-month break from getting my nails done, so I hadn't been back until recently. I only found out about the management change after seeing the updates on Yelp. While they've kept the same name, Polished Nails, the business is completely independent from the previous management. I visited the other day for a gel-x soak-off after my three-week trip to Asia - I was long overdue for a clean-girl manicure and pedicure. I initially walked in without an appointment (rookie mistake!), so I definitely recommend making an appointment if you plan to visit. Steven was working on another customer when I arrived, but he kindly scheduled me to come back later that day - totally fair, given I hadn't called ahead. Steven and Hannah (new couple) completely remodeled the space, giving it a fresh, modern look. They've also expanded their selection with new polish colors and trendy design options, including textured effects like velvet (cat-eye), intricate 3D art, minimalist styles like micro French and nude diagonals, and bold finishes such as liquid-metal chrome and aura gradients. Steven and Hannah are offering 20% off for all services since they just had their grand re-opening. I requested a basic gel manicure ($35.00), organic basic gel pedicure ($42.00) and my gel-x soak-off ($10.00) - the total was $90.00 and with the 20% off, everything came out to be $72.00 (tipped separately). Though I only got a regular manicure without any designs, I was honestly so impressed by how meticulous and detailed Steven was. I change my nail color pretty often, and I've always wanted that perfect deep burgundy but for some reason, other salons/nail techs could never quite get the tone right. When I showed Steven the shade I had in mind, he did something unexpected: he mixed two different burgundy colors to create the exact tone I wanted. I've never had anyone do that before, and the result was spot on! Even with shaping, I usually have to "inspect" my nails afterward and request small fixes but not this time. Steven got it right on the first try, both in color and shape. It was practically perfect from the start, which says a lot! Regarding this specific Yelp page, it's important to note that it has been acquired by the new owners, Steven and Hannah. I recommend filtering the photos by "newest first" so you can see the updated nail designs and work done by them from August 2025 onward. Any older photos (prior to August) reflect the previous management - Cindy and her family, who no longer operate the salon. By doing this, you'll be able to see the difference in results and style between the previous management and the new one. Lastly, if you're someone who prefers a quiet, relaxing environment and wants to escape the loud, crowded nail salons in the area - while still getting quality nail art and care - I highly recommend coming here. It's peaceful, not overcrowded, and you can actually hear your own thoughts without feeling rushed. read more

Had an okay experience. Got a gel pedicure and got a discount for first time customer which was nice. Did Zelle and they called me afterwards to say the Zelle didn't go through and that annoyed me a lot. They ended up letting me know that they knew that Zelle sometimes takes a while to get through but they still bothered me about it even after I sent a screenshot of the email confirmation. So definitely pay cash. I was the only person there that morning so that was nice. I had press on nails on my hands and the guy was obsessed with them and made me feel a little uncomfortable. read more

Just had my first visit to Polished Beauty Bar and WOW -- I'm seriously blown away and I am PARTICULAR. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely welcomed and taken care of. The experience was amazing. I got the chance to be pampered by Steven and his beautiful wife, Hannah (spelling might be off!) and they were both absolutely amazing. I have been going Polished Nail studio since 2017 and I have never been disappointed! I love that it's family owned and the family members are the ones doing your nails. It's the cleanest and most well decorated nail shop I've ever been in, and it's very peaceful compared to others because it's really only the family that works at their own store and they have quite the loyal client base. I came in as a late walk-in and they welcomed me right away! The salon was super clean, the staff were so friendly, and Hannah did an amazing job on my gel pedicure. I was able to find this place when I had to get my nails done last minute while everywhere else was too busy to get me in. This is a great location literally across from mile square park, and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. First impression was that the interior was nice and clean. Apparently, this nail shop is under new management by a lovely husband and wife. Steven usually does my nails. He definitely knows what he's doing. He's great in nail art and likes a challenge. When I show them a picture of what I like, they're always able to follow it and make my nails come out perfect! They're always able to match the color exactly (or very close) to the pictures I show. I appreciate my almond shaped nails coming out evenly and not crooked or weird. One of my pet peeves is when a nail tech paints but leaves the edges of my nails bare with no color. Well, that never happens here! It just shows the attention to detail Steven and his wife have. Another thing to point out is that I don't go home bleeding or with cuts like with some other places where the nail techs are rushing. If you're in the area, support Polished Nail Studio! They're such a sweet couple and you can tell they care and want to make sure you leave happy. read more

Unfortunately, the callus remover was not done properly for either of us, which was very disappointing. After years of loyal business, I expected better quality and consistency.

I have struggled to find a good (even decent) nail salon in Los Angeles or San Diego areas over the last decade, so never thought I would get so lucky to find this gem in Orange County of all places. I have been to hundreds of salons over the years getting regular mani/pedi's, gel's and occasionally acrylics. I did my typical Yelp search while at my boyfriend's house in Fountain Valley & couldn't have been more lucky with choosing to book at Polished Nail Studio. The studio is owned by a wonderful family (mom, dad & daughters) and after my second time in, I have been serviced by both daughters & the mother for acrylics + fill & a regular pedicure. I am not a person to NEED conversation (nor silence) throughout as both can feel quite awkward & forced, but I genuinely have a great time conversing with whoever is in the salon & leave happier than when I came in. I left for a two week trip to Japan after I got the initial acrylics, and came back over 3 weeks later to zero chips/lifts... and I am NOT easy on my nails or a delicate person. After two weeks of lifting suitcases, my nephew & everything else involved in traveling, I couldn't have been happier with the quality (& prices) of their services. Felt the need to write a review because they deserve the praise! Happy to have a place to return to for all of my mani/pedi needs. read more

Wife wanted a manicure and a pedicure so I decided why not I want one too. We went to Polished Nail Studio and were greeted right away. I then knew my wife and myself were in good hands. They sat us down and asked us what we wanted of course they had to go into more detail with the wife with all that she gets done lol. I just asked them for a mani and pedi and they got right to work.
