When I went to pay, I discovered that she had given me gel nails without asking and charged me for an "upgrade" I never requested. When I complained she started telling me why it was superior. Interesting sales tactic, I guess. I paid, tipped, and left. For some stupid reason I went back two weeks ago. This time I went with my sister for a Shellac French manicure. First, the girl filed my nails crooked. By the time she evened them out, my nails were down to the nail bed. At that point I probably should have opted for a colour but she insisted it was fine for French. It wasn't. It seriously looked like a 12 year old's first attempt at doing a French manicure. I asked her to remove it and she complained that it wasn't her fault that my nail beds are so short and ugly. Thanks? So I choose a colour and she puts it on my shitty itty bitty kid length nails, leaving an annoying distance where my nails meet my cuticles. That way a fresh manicure looks like I got it done 2 weeks ago. She put on multiple layers which makes it more prone to chipping. That is exactly what happened. Nails chipped within a week. My sister had a similar experience with her nails. Over filing and not close enough to the cuticles. Except her polish is still intact. Not going there. I don't recommend anyone else does either.

(I specifically asked for lighter lashes because I KNOW heavy ones can and will fall off in large clumps and cause Damage which is exactly what they did) I will not go back because it's obvious that they don't actually care what a customer would like, I would however like a refund which I also asked for in my email. I called a place in burlington that had okay-ish photos on their website..... but when I explained I just wanted a fill and polish change, they said they wouldn't do it and it they'd charge me to remove them and then re-apply a full new set. This is what I didn't want. The shape was what I wanted to keep. Anyways, I live around the corner from Lvy and had seem some advertising so I decided to give it a shot. They looked good now I wanted to see what they could do! Laughs were had and almost immediately as I walked in. I could tell, this is my new nail salon! I found out that there were 2 locations through this so if you're trying to get a session here, select the Kerr Street location. I had to wait for an email confirmation before my pedicure time slot was approved. The one thing I couldn't do online was book multiple appointments for the same time. I was originally hoping to come with a friend. The lot that is next to the building is actually for the orthodontist so you'll have to park along the street in front of the salon. I didn't realize this at first so I had to move my car. I also don't carry change with me but the receptionist was kind of enough to give me a few quarters to feed the meter. I was the first appointment in the morning at 10am and they had everything set up and ready for me. They did have a lot of colours to choose from and it was impressive that they knew the names of the colours too! The massage chair was really nice. I've never been to a place with one where even the seat where your butt goes inflates and stuff. My technician was awesome. She took her time with the polish application and made sure to clean up any areas that were messy. My feet felt great after this and looked even better. I called in advance and booked an appointment for 3:30 for a bio gel manicure + shellac and…read morepedicure shellac. I arrived at 3:25 and was taken in right away. They took my temperature, and everyone was wearing masks and gloves and maintaining social distancing. Vicky SAVED my nails after an awful attempt at a gel manicure at home (due to lockdown). She revived my nails, cut and shaped them, redid the biogel, and painted them to perfection with a beautiful red wine colour that she picked out for me. I then headed to get a pedicure by Michelle, who was so gentle and thorough I got goosebumps (the good kind, the kind you get from ASMR) on so many occasions. She scrubbed and exfoliated my legs with lotions, oils, and exfoliants that smelt amazing, and offered me a choice of either a moisturizer massage or a hot stone massage. The hot stones and her massaging was so relaxing I wanted to float to the car rather than step on my feet. She then topped it all off by placing a hot towel over my feet and legs, which felt so nice! Overall, the whole experience took 2 hours (& $110+HST) and was SO WORTH IT after 2 months of lockdown. The salon is clean, pretty, organized, and very well managed. Everyone who works there is so professional and nice. I even used the washroom between treatments and it was extremely clean and cared for. I highly recommend this nail salon and will definitely be coming back again. It truly is a little hidden gem. Tip: If you pay in cash you get a 10% discount.
