Last Tuesday I came in and got a spa pedicure from Ana (who I get my toes done by every time) and requested black gel polish for my toes to match my nails. Unfortunately, when I got home and was in the sun, I realized that the color on my toes was in fact, a navy blue instead of black. When I called the following Monday and spoke to Peter, I had explained to him that I didn't realize until I got outside in the sun that the color was navy blue instead of black as well as the gel on my toenails had already been peeling and chipping. He said absolutely come in and we will fix all of that for you. I just went in about half an hour ago and tried to explain this to one of the technicians, Suzie. As a reference, I had been going to Suzie for my nails for about 6 to 10 months, until she left for maternity leave. I've always left incredibly happy and she was always very friendly. This was now the third time I've been there since she has returned from maternity leave and she has been incredibly rude to me (talking about me to another technician and talking to me with a lot of attitude). After she fixed the big toe that you can clearly see in the picture is the color black, I asked her can you please fix the other toes to match this one. She had said fix all of the toenails? I answered, yes because the color that's on my big toe is now not matching the rest of the color on my other toes. I reminded her that I had spoke to Peter and he said I could come in and that it would get fixed. She said we don't have a navy blue color like this. Out of frustration and not wanting to start an argument while having my one year-old with me, I said OK thanks and left. I'm not really sure why this technician treats me this way but the last three times I've been there she has been incredibly rude to me. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the salon which really saddens me because I was always very very happy with the service and the interaction with the technicians!

The facility is remarkably clean and well-appointed. The staff were welcoming! My appointment started on-time. The pedicure was great as my nails and polish look fantastic. My legs were truly exfoliated and calluses certainly removed. (I didn't think I'd be impressed - it's actually one of the best removals I've ever had!) The massage duration of time was good , as was the foot massage. My only wish was that the calf massage was deeper as it felt like someone was just rubbing lotion onto my legs. That little difference would convince me to become a regular! Okay, second wish, It would be nice to have rates published on a website or on fb/IG. They have excellent rates for waxing, make up and hair! The pedicure is a little steep but quite frankly, for the attentive work performed, it's on par with Bergen County rates. My original appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 12. On August 11, I received a call asking me to move my appointment to 12:45 PM because Le had an appointment that she could not move. I had the time available, so I accommodated the change even though I found it unprofessional to have my appointment moved because of the technician's personal scheduling conflict. Then, on the morning of August 12, after I had already gotten ready and planned my day around the 12:45 appointment, I received a text saying my appointment was now at 1:30 PM. I had plans with a friend immediately afterward, so that time no longer worked for me. I called the salon to figure out what was going on. The employee who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. She put me on the phone with Le, but the conversation was confusing and I was never given a clear explanation for why my appointment had been changed again. When I tried to explain how frustrating and unprofessional this was, the employee became nasty and told me she "didn't have time for this." I told her that they were losing me as a customer and that I would be leaving a review, and she hung up on me while I was still speaking. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from a nail salon. I was willing to accommodate the first scheduling change, but changing my appointment again at the last minute, not being able to give me a reasonable explanation, and then treating me disrespectfully when I called was completely unacceptable. It's especially disappointing because I actually liked Le's work and specifically waited for her to come back from vacation. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled has completely changed my opinion of the salon. I will not be returning.
