Failure to discard buffer blocks or porous nail files in a trash receptacle after exposure to broken skin or unhealthy skin or nails §106(f). *No pedicure liners *Used nail file(s) and foot callus scrubbers (porous) *Used nail drill bits without sanitation (acrylic residue remains on drill bit before beginning). *Overall salon sanitation *Failure to post all required licenses ---- When asking the nail tech if those (referencing the tools), she proceeded to let me know they 'wash' them with soap and water. These are porous tools, and these were very much visibly used. I immediately felt uncomfortable and asked the nail tech to stop. At this point, my nails had two (2) nail tip extensions on my big toes (incomplete) and she trimmed two (2) nails. When bringing up my concern at the front, I was just told "sorry about that" and proceeded to be charged $25 for what was already done. Mind you, I was in the salon maybe 15 minutes with 10 minutes or less being in the chair. Deluxe Pedicure (EA. cooling peppermint pedi) are $50 plus $18 for gel. Why would it be $25 for nail trim and nail tips for two nails? I feel as though because I spoke up about their sanitation, I was reprimanded via overcharging. Please please please do not go to this place. Please spend the extra money going somewhere where sanitation is visible and you're not risking infection. This shop is now under investigation for multiple violations by the State of Texas.

I have been to the salon about three or four times now and I usually only get a pedicure. I find…read morethat they are very attentive to the front door when you walk in and they pretty much will get you seated right away. I have never had to wait for anyone so that is nice. They will ask you if you would like to have a drink and my go to is a glass of Moscato. I was comfortable enough the first time to just take whatever person they assigned me to and have continued to do that and I have not been disappointed. They don't rush through the pedicure. They will certainly allow you to just sit there and not say a word the entire time which is actually kind of nice. They have three different TVs on at a time and believe it or not. It look like they have an almost complete full service bar, but that's not how they treat it. Everything is up-to-date. It is decorated nicely. The men and women that I have met have been super kind and professional. There was always a manager walking around to check to see how things are going and I appreciate that as well. I think this will

However, when she asked if I wanted lotion on that leg I said no 2x and lotion was put on leg around tattoo. I should have received a leg massage and I jokingly said just do double on the other leg. I did not receive a leg massage at all . This is my favorite part. The polish I chose was not good-they brought different ones and I picked one I liked. I put on my finger nail to test and it was not offered to remove. Maybe my mistake for not asking but it was obvious. The place is very large and they have a big selection for colors. The massage chair is fantastic. She also gave recommendations on how to take care of a tattoo - Vaseline-just Google it -DO NOT USE! Vivian I believe did my nails -wasn't awful but there is someone FANTASTIC! Yami is great and personable. She is fun to talk to and pays attention to detail.

It was a relaxing environment up until the managers daughter came in to help her with something. They had a small argument and it ruined my relaxation because of how her daughter was taking to her. Back to the manicure. My nail tech was sweet (don't know her name) and she did an okay job. I decided to wait a few days before I made a review. I got my nails done on a Wednesday and by Friday morning, the polish already started to peel. I also noticed that there were a lot of air bubbles and when they popped, made my nails feel rough. She did 3 layers with curing in between but I think 2 more layers would have made a huge difference. When trimming my cuticles, she only did surface level and not in the nail beds. The price for the gel manicure with one color was $35. Unfortunately, I will not be returning here due to the mediocre job of my nails.

The sparkly gold color is perfect. They have many color selection. I didn't do the gel pedicure this visit. The owners, Tammy & her husband are welcoming. I like that there is a menu and I was able to be clear of what I would like and the price I will be paying, so no more upselling once I sit in the chair like other places. They include the removal in the service price which is a big plus! When I come in to do my nails, I don't like it when the tech try to persuade me to do this or that for $3, $5 more etc. This place doesn't do that! I give them 6 stars... I chose the DELUXE pedicure and it was fabulous! I plan to come back with my boyfriend and/or friends here. I receive amazing scrub and massages all the way to my calves.
