The bartenders made great Old Fashioneds in the Photo Finish Lounge. Our room was clean and comfortable. The downside to being here the first part of the week, sometimes the bar and the main restaurant are not open.

Our room was updated, spacious and comfortable. The shampoo and soaps were individual not coming out of a community dispenser. The bed was perfect for a hotel not to hard not to soft. We never really thought about staying at a casino hotel but this definitely makes for a much better stay than other budget hotels. We paid a budget price but felt more like a luxury experience. Note I'm not saying it felt like the Ritz or 4 Seasons, but definitely better than a traditional Hilton or Marriot.

And what a great Saturday night! Perfect weather and a good breeze and the smell of racing fuel and stock car exhaust -- mixed in with hamburgers and popcorn and every kind of junk food you could hope for. While watching the qualifying races I devoured a good portion of a HUGE pork tenderloin. Fried golden brown and slathered with yellow mustard on a smashed up hamburger bun. Deee-lish. And during the longer races I feasted on a cheeseburger smothered with ketchup, mustard and pickles, nachos with nacho cheese and jalapenos, and a licorice rope. Loved 'em all. And then the popcorn! A big ol' bag of buttery popcorn for $2! The same amount would cost you $8 at the movie theater. It was a bit of a drive out there (70 miles from Council Bluffs), but well worth it for 4 hours of loud, nail-biting races. What a great time.

This was my first time to Knoxville for the Sprint Car races!…read more It was 3M sponsored night so this review will not reflect on general seating. We got a parking pass and as soon as we made our way into the parking lot. We got parked easily. We started walking the short walk to the arena. Parking is a little tight along the fence and saw a little fender bender. Good news is there was security close by and there in a heartbeat. We got to bring in our own coolers and drinks. This may be because we had suites way up above the general seating. Third floor up. With the passes we got scanned in to go up the elevator. We walked down the runway and found our suite at the end of turn four. The view is great. There is a fridge, sink and couple different seating areas. Right up against the windows is a row of standard chairs. Directly behind them is a bar like structure and then high rise chairs bump up to that. There is room to stand and another side high top in the back corner. Then there are multiple TVs. The A/C is super nice and there is a speaker you can hear the race announcer. We also got to go back down and check out the provided meal in the nearby rec building. It being 3M sponser night, they provided a full bag of goodies. We enjoyed the provided meal. With that in mind, there is still concessions that you can get some goodies. From the suite you can also call and have food delivered up so you don't miss out on the races. This is the #1 track for Sprint Cars. Drivers from all over the world. There is a museum across the track that tells you all about the history of the historic track. It is good fun for the whole family. We had a good time in the suite. The races were fun to watch. It was scary a couple times with the crashes and luckily no one was that night. I would go again if we were able to get the suite again. I really dont think I would enjoy 5 hours on the hard bleachers. Great stadium. I recommend.

We were easily directed to where we needed to go and found it quickly. The buildings were all clean and welcoming. The track was very cool to see up close. Ive had one other experience here years ago and still had the same positive experience. The Speedway does lots of events and not just racing. I think they are doing well in keeping things interesting. I hope to make it out for an actual race sometime in the near future.
