These are not private lessons as advertised. You share the dance floor with others who may be…read morelearning an altogether different style, so the instructors are always changing/fighting over the music, and you're dodging other dancers, which is very distracting and aggravating. You also don't get to pick the dance you want to learn because they want to push a tier level plan on you. As part of the "package" you get group lessons, but there are so few men attending, as a woman you wind up dancing by yourself until you're next in line for the lead guy. It's very expensive for semi private lessons. IMO you'd learn as much for a lot less taking a group lesson somewhere else, and the men to women ratios are usually better - I know this from experience. It's in a great location, good studio size, the instructors were knowledgeable and nice enough, but it's very much chain/corporation minded and not focused on the individuals needs and wants.

Since my son lives in Richmond VA they were going to have to space out some lessons over the next couple of months. For me and my wife, we decided to sign-up for a few for more lessons, since we live here in Charlotte, and the first experience was so good. We had taken some previous lessons when we lived in Florida that we quickly dropped. Our instructor Alyona was great at getting us comfortable over the first set of lessons we took as a couple. That was in early December, and now we are both taking couple lessons and single lessons, because we are having a lot of fun. Alyona and her partner Jake are great coaches for me and my wife, because as both professional dancers they know we are there to learn and just have fun, not looking to go pro. The facility is very clean and the entire staff is very friendly. I would recommend this dance studio to anyone who needs lessons or just wants to experience having some fun from a group of folks who love what they are doing. Five Stars for sure

He went through the basic steps for a few different types of dance (rumba, bachata, salsa, waltz, tango, etc.) since my husband had absolutely zero experience with dancing. We then had him as our instructor for the rest of our dance learning journey and he has been very helpful: great choreography to accommodate our stage and clothes restrictions, salsa music choice and music edit, flexible scheduling when we were busy with work. Other instructors were nice as well. - Location: convenient location near SouthPark Mall. Parking was a little tricky when the parking lot was under construction but otherwise there was always parking available. Whole Foods and several restaurants were nearby so there was no need to plan a trip specifically to the dance class - just one more thing into weekend routine. - Price: I figured it was almost the same price for a 10-class first dance package around Charlotte so I considered the price pretty fair.

She would tell what style of the music that we didn't have to guess. She encouraged everyone to grab a partner and dance. I had leant something and really enjoyed the time. I learnt that someone drove an hour and half to come to the class and party. Wooow! The class and party were $20 for the night. A very light snack was there as well. I would come back when I had my days off and in town.

Located in an unassuming strip of possible warehouses, this a haven awaits. So far I have taken the yin yoga classes which are donation based (YOGA FOR ALL...I LOVE IT!) you will leave that class floating and in a daze. It's so relaxing. The studio is equipped with all the yoga props you would need and the space is roomy. Ive also taken the aerial silk meditation class....OMG. i fell in love. best 30 minutes of my 2018 thus far....Sure its only January, but I intend to repeat! This clas was an insane 5 bucks!!! Why did I write that?! Like I said, best kept yoga secret! The silk classes do require pre-registration as there are only a limited number of them and im def not sharing my hammock!
