I saw that almost every review was 5 stars. There was one person who gave them a 1 star and I know after being in business for over 30 years there is always that one person. So I called ahead to see if there was anything special that I needed to bring with me. The lady on the phone was very helpful. She said that when I got to the location they would set me up. When I arrived it was busy. The young lady working there was working with one customer filling his tanks and another was just ahead of me. When it was my turn she walked me through what I would need (new adaptors so I could use my RV's current hook ups and regulator). She was very helpful and pleasant. She kept everyone in order and was on top of it. I told her that I pick this place because of the reviews and she said that she was proud of doing a good job. She also mentioned the negative review that was posted and said the guy never came to her location. He mentioned the receptionist as being rude and there is no receptionist on sight. Just her and the 2 awesome dogs in the office. Anyway I had an amazing first experience at Affordable Propane from the first call to getting my 2 tanks filled. The price was 1/2 of what I would hav3e paid at the other locations I called. So although the reviews were better I also came for the price as well. It was a win win and I will be back.

(The van's customization was done in Texas.) The owner himself came out to talk with me and talked me through his idea for a solution. I have autopay which has ensured that I was never late on a payment. They snuck in a filled over 800$ on my tank without notice. I called to ask for time and split payments and solutions on this bill. The autopayed it anyway and now I have a huge credit that they will not refund. They accused me of late pay, and said I would have to find another company and tank before issuing the credit. Do you know what a co-op is?…read more Me either! I'm familiar with the term. I've heard it growing up. This city girl lived in rural Wisconsin during High School. Many students were farmers or came from farming families. I recall getting gas and people spoke of supporting the local farmers in the area. Well I did some checking, agfinity is a Colorado based company co-op. It's headquarters are in Loveland. I believe it was stated it is the largest co-op in Colorado. It provides many supplies to farmers. It also supplies fuel to the area. They even have an Ace Hardware and a Cenex gas station. This is where I refuel. It has a large pull in area for all types of vehicles. To date, they have the least expensive gas in the metro area. They take care of the truck drivers and haulers of hay and feed. The store is always clean and Ruth is always friendly too. She works the register. I've been a strong proponent of buying and supporting locally. I'm also a strong supporter of rural America and our farmers. I will continue to refuel here as will my family. I may not be a farm girl, but I have the heart of one. We love and support one another.

We had paid using Apple Pay, not realizing it uses a different card number than the physical debit card. Instead of explaining that or helping, she smirked and acted like she was glad we couldn't get a refund. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. We are honest customers and didn't deserve to be treated that way. I hope management addresses this and retrains staff on proper customer service and Apple Pay refunds. They provide diesel, and CLEAR fuel that contains NO ETHANOL. It is ran by Mother and Father, so it's a "Ma&Pa shop that has been in business since 1996.
