Amazing team! They prorated their service and helped us to move all of our stuff from an apartment to a bigger place. I highly recommend them. Also, I don't think anyone else can beat their prices read more

Hired Polancos Movers for a move this past weekend through Yelp. Their fees were very competitive and they did an amazing job. The movers were respectful, asked about each item to move and where to place it and did not break anything. Will definitely hire them again. read more

So kind, thoughtful and time efficient! Súper love their time management! They were also really friendly respectful! read more

The service was beyond AMAZING! It was a 5 star service and I HIGHLY recommend. These hardworking men took really good care of my items and were very friendly and organized. The movers wore their masks and practiced social distancing. They are also reasonably priced. read more

On time, super quick, and very responsive! They moved me out and into my new place within two hours. I also had a nightstand that I needed to be built, and they did it for no extra charge. They were very respectful of my belongings and placing things where I wanted them to go. Highly recommend these guys. read more

The movers were very friendly and professional. They wore their masks and gloves the entire time. Communication was effective at all times. They were quick and their prices were excellent. I'll definitely recommend them to anyone that needs professional movers!!! Thanks for such an awesome service!!! read more

Polancos did an amazing job moving my husband and myself. Oscar and his crew came in and immediately took charge of the situation. The move was smooth without any issues at all. They were polite, friendly and very professional. They made sure to wear their masks for not only their protection, but ours also. They took care with all of our furniture and boxes that needed to be moved. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have a worry free experience. read more

Loved that they showed up with their masks on & kept them on the whole time. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend this company! read more

Great service! I hired them to move my belongings into storage while my new home is being built. I will be hiring them again when my home is completed. read more

Update: Alex texted me threatening to share our thread screenshots where I displayed my dissatisfaction and a lapse in character due to frustration and to also share the revised invoice to the people. Still will not let me speak to the owner. Goes to show how difficult these people are. AGAIN, save yourself the headache and money and go with someone else. I asked for 15% off for ever hour that they were late (which amounted to $68) and she said there will be no discount for them being late. So if you're okay with your movers showing up whenever they seem fit, definitely use this company. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This was the worst moving experience of my life and I've moved 7 times in the past 7 years. It was raining on my move date. The time the movers were supposed to arrive came and gone and I had not received a call from Polancos. So I called them. Alex picked up (the person you'll schedule your move with) and she says "your window is from 5-6 so I still had time to call you to inform you". No apology, no respect or good customer service. I expected them to call me as soon as they knew they would be late so at least I could plan my life due to the changes. Then she tells me; the movers can come at 8 at the earliest. OR we can move your time to tomorrow and we'll send you 3 movers for the price of 2. These people perhaps don't understand that when someone books a move with you they pick up their entire life and have arrangements to be in a other place by the end of the day (turn in keys to old place, close on a house across the country, shut of electricity, gas, etc). So I tell her I have to move today (also was leaving town for work on that next day. And she says well we can't offer you anything if you wanna still move today even though we're two hours late since we're meeting your request. We can't offer you any discount for making a promise to you for showing up between 5-6 and then showing up at 8. So basically they showed up two hours late and offered me absolutely nothing. I asked her if she could AT LEAST give me a courtesy call when the movers were on the way to me and she said yeah, but I got no call. I had to call her at 8. She had no idea where the movers were so then she called them and told me they were almost at my address. I ended up moving over half of my stuff myself in my truck. When I asked to speak to the manager, she told me he wasn't available until Monday. So I called Monday, she tells me "I'm sorry the move has already happened. We can't let you speak to him." AKA fuck you, we already got your money. They also charged me for an extra hour when they shouldn't have. It wasn't until I mentioned it to them that they sent another revised invoice. And in order to get the revised invoice I called Alex, she rejected my call. Then I asked one of the movers to call her from his phone THEN she picked up. And was acting confused about the invoice and wasn't even sure what the issue was. By the way, if you message the "owner" on Yelp or email, it's Alex, the scheduling woman. Not the actual owner. The other 10 reviews of this company are probably so good because literally everything went as expected. As soon as Polancos has something go wrong, they fail miserable and clearly their customer service is fucking shit too. This move cost me $227 when it should have Costed my like $160. So, save yourself the trouble and use another company. If they find you in a position where they can take advantage of you, they 100% will. I asked for some sort of compensation for the wasted two hours and she basically put me in a position where either I move the next day or I move the same day with no extra compensation for my wasted time. I recommend using 3 men movers, they are better in regards to communication and customer service is top notch. read more

They were super fast, very professional. I would recommend to EVERYONE! They came with 3 men and were ready to go.

The movers needed to do a better job at taking care of the items and wrapping the furniture. The wrapping of the furniture was so poorly done it was falling off before we made it to the new location. Now that we had a chance to assess everything lots of cuts, bumps, and torn items are being discovered. Just like other comments no one ever contacted me after I complained. read more

Polancos Movers were great! They handled our stuff with care and were very efficient. They were trying to get the job done quickly and safely. The movers were extremely nice and knew what they were doing! read more

We were in a pinch regarding a short notice move. The mover we had scheduled for a Sunday move backed out on Friday. Polancos Movers took the gig and did a great job. They actually offered me an opportunity to get id done earlier in the day and the move was completed by two hard working gentlemen in just a little over 5 hours. read more

Worked hard and great price, but damaged a piece of exercise equipment, patio space heater and stripped out several screws on the front door which has not opened and closed properly since they removed it. Raised issues immediately after the move and was told they would send someone to look and make repairs. Still waiting... It's been weeks. read more

Very good rates. The 2 man team showed up with masks a bit late but it wasn't that big of a deal because there was communication. The move went smoothly. 2 men moved a studio amount of furniture and belongings down one flight of stairs and then up four in a little over two hours. I would have thought they needed a third person but no...it was quick. They even moved some items that I had packed in my car before I decided to hire movers. They let you start and stop the timer so there are no discrepancies with the time. My only issue was that they didn't seem to use anything to protect the furniture and at one point dropped the couch cushions on the dirty stairs. If the couch was wrapped this would not have happened. All in all still a good experience. read more

Left some of my boxes at old residence. The process was way too slow which caused price to go extremely high. Not satisfied

NIGHTMARE!! I am giving one star instead of zero, because the girl on the phone was polite every time I called. I was supposed to have 3 movers, between 9-10am. 2 movers arrived after 11. One was on his phone most of the time while loading. The other couldn't speak English. They complained that I had so many boxes. They couldn't get my couch out the front door, so I showed them how to do it. They took 2 hours to get to my new apartment, which was about 50 minutes away. After calling, they did remove the charge for the extra hour they took. It was between 7-8 pm when they finally finished. I wasn't comfortable with the fact that when I paid, the guy called and just read my credit card information over the phone for payment. This cost a lot more than I had expected, I believe mainly because they told me that my job was a 3 man job because my old apartment had stairs. This was a 900 sq ft apartment, and there is no way, in my opinion, that it should have taken that long. read more

Polancos Movers were very professional and thorough. They thought of everything beforehand, very well prepared. They were willing to work with me as far as scheduling and helped with our relocation from Richmond to Austin with no issues. Their pricing, while competitive, was very reasonable and worth it. Overall, our move was a seamless experience, and I would recommend Polancos Movers to anyone in need of immediate relocation. read more

Moving out can be very messy but fortunately Polanco movers went above and beyond with their service. They all were very professional and friendly. Katherine the assistant was also very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to relocate. Friendly people, accountable, and provided a top notch service. Thank you guys ! read more

The owner was gracious upon my request to provide me a flat rate to move locally a few specific pieces of furniture. My messages to him were always replied in a timely manner. Two guys did the actual move. They were polite and did a good job moving the furniture. It was my first time using this company, and my experience with the company was a pleasant, satisfying one. read more

I can't recommend Polancos Movers. Scheduled my move a week in advance. I received a last minute text that they were unable to come out that day because they have been monitoring the weather and it looks like it will be raining all day. To cancel on a customer, last minute, on the day of a scheduled move is bad business. If you're going to cancel at least provide notice the day before. It's not like the weather is going to change much from one day to the next. For whoever is reading this and still wants to use Polancos, I'd suggest you check the forecast beforehand. read more

Very efficient as the movers didn't lollygag when you're charged by the hour. Great job Polancos!

They were responsive and we were able to get scheduled quickly. However they were about 1.5 hrs late. They did do a good job however, and they were very reasonably priced. We just had them move a piano locally. read more

They were a bit late according to what they texted me but they still arrived within the time frame so I guess no harm done. Outside of that, great guys and I was very happy with the move read more

They did a great job moving my new refrigerator and taking the old one. They hooked up the ice machine and everything. Reasonably priced.

Showed up right on time, very professional. Explained my budget and the guys made it happen! I totally recommend them to my sister-in-law who is also moving soon. read more

Excellent job! Great communication, on time, couldn't ask for better.

Couldn't speak more highly of Polancos. This has been my BEST moving experience in 31 years. The guys arrived promptly, did a walkthrough to understand what we had, what needed wrapping, etc. THEN they had asked me to start the clock for them. They moved fast but were always careful, I've never seen this much hustle in hourly movers before. After moving from our apartment to our new house we bought them lunch expecting them to just sit and eat on the clock. Instead they had us stop the clock so they could sit and eat before getting back to work. All-in-all the price is great, the work ethic was phenomenal, we had no issues at all. We will be picking Polancos in the future every time. Thanks for a great move read more

I've used Polancos Movers Multiple times now, they've done my friends as well. They truly are there to get the work done! Jose and his team wore their mask the whole time and were very courteous in asking what I needed help in after they assembled my big items. From booking with Alexa to pushing the end timer. I'll definitely keep using and recommending them. read more

Easiest...most un-stressful move I have ever experienced. These guys are good!! Quick and efficient...with a smile...and great attitudes! We had a pickup location and two drop-off locations with zero problems. I will definitely use Polancos Movers for all my moves. read more

They were on time and ready to go. I downsized and moved to a 3rd floor apartment, the 2 guys that did the move for me were great and professional. Took about 3hrs for a total of $216! I'd definitely recommend them and will be using them again read more

They quoted the most reasonable rate. I asked them how they prorate when it's not a full hour. Most company will charge you by the quarter hour and some even 1/3 hours. That means if they go over the hour by 5 minutes, you'll pay for 1/4 hours. That's an extra cost you don't need and it is a form of dishonesty. When Polancos movers showed up and used a phone app to track their minutes and they prorated it per minute. My jaws dropped. I hired 3 man crew as I always underestimated the task. But of course, you need to do your part to improve their efficiency or any mover will run up the clock. Most of my stuff are boxed up and I had a couple of hand carts on hands that I encouraged them to use instead of carrying the boxes one at a time they can wheel a stack of boxes. Anyway, I appreciate their level of honesty and will hire them again if I have to move. read more

This is the 3rd time in a row I've used Jose and his crew at Polanco's Movers and I would highly recommend them to anyone moving. They've showed up right on time, prepared, careful, and affordable!! Not to mention with this last move they had to move some extremely heavy furniture (including washer & dryer) through a tricky staircase. Don't know what I would do without them. Thank you so much!! read more
