I have since spoken to JC, the general manager. He did send a prepaid return label. He did not, at least yet, say that I will get a full refund. He did say he us an expert and that I have an odd frame. He sent me pictures of two frames from a restoration website. The picture that he said shows a "normal" frame has none of the components shown in POLs website diagrams... and this is a3/4 ton in the picture with dual rear wheels!! Expert!! He also said he didn't think my yelp review was fair. I did say I will update once he follows through. Update.... I have been in contact with Jim Genty at performance on line. He finally agreed that their listing is incorrect and they are fixing it. I got a full refund including shipping and an apology. Buyer beware. This is a long read, but worth it if you don't want them to steal your money. Do not buy from these people. I ordered a brake booster setup back on 6/13/26. After not hearing anything or getting any notifications about shipment, I canceled my order on 6/26/26. Keep in mind, it took two days of calling to finally get someone on the phone to acknowledge that the order was canceled. At that time, on 6/26, I was told it would be 15 business days to receive my refund. I waited 4 full weeks and called again. Then was told they would run it upstairs to accounting and I would be refunded in 24-48 hours. I waited and received no refund again. When I was finally able to get someone on the phone again, they told me nobody should have ever told me 24-48 hours, and to contact Jimmy personally. Guess what...Jimmy's extension goes straight to voicemail. Jimmy has not replied to voicemails. Called again. The guy on the sales line claims to work remote and actually told me to file a dispute with my bank on the charge because he can't get get ahold of them either. He gave me Jimmy's email. I cannot stress enough that if you are considering ordering from this company or their subsidiary Western Chassis please stop immediately and find someone else. I ordered parts for my 51 Chevy pickup back in October 2025. I was never able to get the full order filled. The customer service is terrible. The attitude these people have shown is unacceptable and when you consider I dropped close to 5 grand with them just consider how they will treat you if it's a small order. Eventually had to cancel the order. They stated I would be refunded in about a few weeks but that was close to 6 weeks ago. Still owe me $600 and can't get anyone to pick up a phone. The attorney generals office is my next stop. And by the way the parts they could not get on my order I got from Speedway and I received them 10 days after order was placed Not 8 months. 1st of all customer service is really bad they don't follow up. I try and call and just for kicks i waited on hold for over 1 1/2 hours and still on hold. Up date. I tried calling today and started at #4 in the que and have been on hold for 2 hours and 15 min and still no one taking the call. The other review was correct the name of the company should be POS not POl. Repeat DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUINESS. There a lot of companies that you can get quality parts and great customer service. 2nd I live local for pick up so I thought I might have a better chance. Order placed on 7/6/25 no updates for 1 1/2 weeks. I called every week. When I called they advised there was a back order on the brackets. They never called to make an update or offer to cancel the order. Then an alleged wait on powder coating. Each week they would tell me it would be received Thursday or Friday the following week. I gave plenty of time and understanding. I called and cancelled on 8/1/25 and was told they would give the cancellation to accounting. This never happened. They took my money immediately for the order and I would like my money back especially for a product the do not have but sell as in stock. Dispute filed and instead of refunding the money the waited another 10 days solidifying their gross incompetence. Waited until 8/23/25 for a forced refund... I had a shop install a hydro boost system from POL on my 68 Firebird. Well just over a year later and about 200 miles the low-pressure switch starts to leak. Simple right, no POL has copied the Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve with one little different. The low-pressure switch that POL used is a one-off switch that has an odd thread pattern and POL does not carry it. Tried four parts stores to find it with no luck, I even went to the NAPA where the owner of 50 years couldn't find it. So now POL tells me I need to order a new adjustable proportioning valve ($75) to get the pressure switch (a new Wilwood switch $20.00). So what happens when the new switch leaks, another new proportioning valve? I think I'll get the Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve that POL copied and that way if the low-pressure switch leaks, I can just buy a new switch ($20) and not have to buy a useless proportioning valve ($75) just for the switch. A company that will not support their product is a company you should not buy from, saving a little money in the beginning is not worth the headache you'll get in the end. read more

At first, I was unhappy with an issue with items I received but that turned out to be an issue COMPLETELY on my end, not the staff with POL. Cadillac 1961-68. This is the second time I've put on part #wbks6168. Once on a 61 this time on a 62. They were 6 months apart. I work on classics for a living. There brass pieces do not match up to the kit. Had to find and buy correct ones. The brake hose does not patch up to the caliper they give you. Also the Cadillac power booster bottom bolts have to be longer. There is a step in the firewall. The bolts they have on there kit are the same size. I will never again take a job where someone has already bought the parts from this place. This place has gotten worse and worse. In Fullerton when I started using them until now. Unbelievably bad customer service and terrible shipping policies. I really wish I had read the BBB reviews before purchasing. I have had the exact same experience as everyone else who reviewed them there. I would highly recommend doing some research before using this company. They are bad at business (at best) and most likely just con men trying to do as little as possible. you'll never do business with someone who cares less about their customers. It's almost impossible to get ahold of them when you have a problem, it can literally take an hour or more waiting to talk to some of the rudest people ive ever encountered. They don't include invoices or packing slips in the boxes they send you so they have no clue if your items have shipped or not. Im missing over $1k in parts and have been told conflicted things when I did manage to get through to a customer service rep, I ordered their Power steering kit and a deluxe power brake conversion kit. They can't figure out where the ball joints lower tie rods and adjusters are. one rep told me the kit doesn't come with them, the other rep told me they delivered them. They told me the steering box would be in two weeks ago and they have no idea when it will be shipped now. There's a reason they are so terribly reviewed here, BBB and Trust pilot. Highly disappointed, awful customer service. I placed an order 2/1/2024 and still haven't received it. Every time I contact them to find out what the status of the order is I am told there is a missing part, and they should be receiving it soon and ship out my order. I was not informed when I originally placed my order that there was a piece out of stock, so that I could order elsewhere. with the return policy being "Final Sale" I had no other option. So, I just sit and wait with calls and emails being returned very short and rude. BUYER BEWARE!!! cheap Chinese junk. purchased disc brake conversion kit and tubular a-arms for 1966 Dart. 1. spindles treads cut poorly. had to purchase die to dress up threads. 2. rock guards/ dust plates not cut correctly. had to grind holes to make clearance for lower ball joint bolts. 3. bleeders for calipers wrong size. would not seat. had to purchase longer ones. 4. spindle dust cover wrong size. had to purchase new ones. 5.Lower ball joints were from 2 different MFR. 6. tubular upper control arms. Pipes not targeted correctly. had to pound in with dead-blow hammer to get to fit. 7. Forward inside A-arms gussets on car had to be grinded to make clearance for tube not to hit mounting frame. Not listed in instrunctions or sales page. 8. installation instructions are not easy to read, hard to print. 9. A-arms were not in stock and POL Did not notify me. Had to call when received partial order. Took 6 weeks to receive items to finish job. I would have sent all this junk back if not for cost of shipping and restocking fee. I should have known better after reading all the bad reviews. I placed an order almost 2 weeks ago. I called today to see where my coil springs are. The springs are on back order for another week and a half. They never sent me an email saying the springs were on back order or anything. I've held up my build for a week because of this. Bought a $2000 tubular control arm and coil over spring kit for my 65 gmc. Had them for a few months and when went to finally install missing a bunch of nuts, bolts, and washers. The control arms are from POL the coil over springs from ALDAN AMERICAN so I could see issues happening. I contacted POL and spoke to a guy that wasn't friendly at all and he just said "ok an e-mail will be sent out. Goodbye" and hung up on me. Customer service not his forte. Next day I received a voice mail from ALDAN AMERICAN saying they were contacted by POL due to some missing parts and wanted me to call them back for info. Call me old school but I explained my issue to POL and let them know what I was missing and POL should just fix it. I called POL back and spoke to the unfriendly guy again and asked him why ALDAN AMERICAN calling me. He stated" sounds like you should call them". I told him no sounds like you should call them and fix the issue. I'm happy to say the unfriendly guy did call them and I received the missing nuts, bolts, and washers the next day. Thank you unfriendly guy for doing your job and fixing the issue and not making me call the other company to fix the issue. I would not recommend this company to anyone who is rebuilding/upgrading a classic car. I purchased a kit specifically for my vehicle. None of the brackets fit, I had to make custom shims, the ebrake cables were not compatable to the vehicle, so I had to try to make additional brackets. After installing, I blew seals in the brakes and the Hydroboost unit. Come to find out these units are rebuilt units, and cheap chinese seals are used. When I contacted POL, they wanted videos of the leaks to prove it. When I mentioned I am local, and could bring in the units so they could see the leaks first hand, they said no, just send videos. And then told me since I was out of warranty(due to the pandemic) they could not help me. I went down the road to a more reputable business, and paid the few extra dollars, and replaced everything I bought from POL. Never again will I make the mistake of buying from them. You would think safety critical items such as brakes would be made to be safe, not save a buck. But its obvious where this business agenda is, profit over customer. read more

This place is a joke. Once they get your money all customer service should be directed through emails rather than talking to someone on the other end. No one to talk to unless you want to place a order. The only way I somehow got through to talk to someone was calling like I was placing an order, and then just passed off. Ordered their set of their tubular control arms for a 1967 Plymouth Satellite and has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their arms measured from Zirc fitting to tab 4 inches which was caused it to catch on my shocks and ruin the arms and shocks. OEM measures 3 inches. Upon explaining what happened they were very defensive accused me of "improper installation" or that I must have a "bent frame" because these arms are precision welded and have exact tolerances. Upon showing them the pictures and proving that their arms were causing the interference they have changed their tune but still no response to my calls or emails since then. Always some poor excuse of they never got my message or email. I have tried numerous times and talked to numerous people there and seem to keep getting passed along to someone else. When I do get someone and try to talk to the manager JC or higher it's always a "who's calling and let me see if he is available " scenario. Then straight to voicemail with no return call. Ridiculous. These people are more than happy to take your money but if you have any problems with your order be prepared for a run around and to be ignored and put off. I have been reasonable for 2 months trying to get this resolved and still no satisfaction. Just run around and grief. The money you save is not worth the hassle you will have if you have problems with your order. Do your homework and order somewhere more reputable. Ordered suspension parts from western chassis. I found out when I received my invoice It was POL. At this point I should have canceled the order right then. I place an order back in 2020 for $6,000 worth of suspension that I finally received 3 months later. one of the parts was incorrect they wouldn't reply to emails and every time I called I was put on hold until I finally hung up. Two days after I placed this most recent order with Western Chassis I received a call stating one of the parts I ordered was out of stock they offered a slightly different part that would work. I agreed and I was told they would go ahead and ship. Three weeks later after receiving no parts a I was told there was another part that was on backorder. I asked if they could just ship the back ordered part when they became available, they agreed and shipped the parts they had. Parts where shipped FedEx when I was supposed to receive my parts by the tracking number they never where delivered. On the following Monday FedEx showed up with one box and there where supposed to be three. I called POL and they stated all parts where delivered. Then I was asked to contact FedEx and open a case, so I did. That was a mistake! Now they say there is nothing they can do because I opened the case with FedEx not them. I even sent them video from my parking lot cameras at the time they said parts where delivered and no FedEx truck. Now this is mostly FedEx's fault and they are useless! Always have trouble with them. Western Chassis (POL) could care less that I didn't receive my parts and I'm out over $500.00. After all they picked Fedex to ship with and cost me $127.00 for shipping on something I never received. If you like bad customer service and gambling on wether you will receive your order then this is the place to do business with because they got there money and could careless! read more

However, once I got to speak to someone I was given good customer service, had all of my questions answered and was offered to place the order right over the phone. One and 1/2 days later I received my Chevelle's intermediate steering shaft. It was easy to assemble and install and all the parts were high quality. We called in and emailed in about this defective caliper And yet when the caliper arrived we received a phone call from someone in your department that was not the friendliest explaining that they were just going to throw it away or send it back to us because there was not proper documentation with it even though we had called emailed and submitted documentation in the box.
