Customer service rep was nice enough but you can tell he was fed up with these kind of calls. It took 45 min on hold to reach sombody but he had no answers.parts fit good but rear of truck is now 5 " higher than the rear. 31.5 to 26 in front. I have already ordered drop shackles from another company to kind of compensate. I just wanted to get a matching kit that all works but here we are last minute after we started this all on the 1st week of march. Called to follow up on my order, after playing phone roulette trying to get hold of someone, I was finally able to speak to a real person. Was told the parts are NOT in stock and ship directly from supplier, who is currently out of stock on those items. Canceled my order and received parts from a different company without issue. Now waiting on my refund, can not get hold of anyone at this place to follow up. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered suspension kit end of Nov. 24. The only updates I received were after I emailed inquiring when the kit would be shipped. Each time they replied parts were on back ordered. Each month I would initiate an email asking for an update. Same reply with no other information. They had charged my credit card for the full amount back in Nov. I finally gave up after 3 (+) months. I fully understand that sometimes companies are at the mercy of their suppliers, but what I don't understand is why charge the full amount when they knew they didn't have the parts in stock. They do not answer their phone calls. After 9 seperate calls and over 140 minutes on holds and I was number 1 in the que the whole time I was on hold. It took 2 days for them to respond to an email. They sent the parts with parts missing and no instructions. Gave a me a lame and generic excuse why this happened and no offer to fix the situation. Their unfavorable treatment towards their customer is achieved in their lack of fulfillment of order, lack of communicating the progress and making empty promises to fill your order. The only thing they are efficient with is taking your money. I was trying to buy my dad a present for his 87th birthday to lower his car and the simple items needed have not arrived nor have they even sent me an email as promised. I called once a month for 6 months to ask about my order. Never got any info on the parts being on back order, and when I ordered they part it said it was in stock. So after 6 months I finally called and canceled my order, and it's been about 2 months and I never got my refund. Over $1000 in parts and they seem to clearly not give a fuck. Just tell the truth! I wish I had the other yelp reviews prior to making a purchase at Western Chassis (WC). Would have saved me a lot of frustration. We run a 78' C10 pickup and my teenage son wanted to put a drop kit on it. He wanted to use Western Chassis because he'd seen their products on some of his friend's vehicles. We made the order on May 18th, 2023 expecting we'd have all the parts in an orderly timeframe and be able to make the handful of car shows we had planned for July/Aug/Sept. We ordered CSSK7387-DF35 1973-87 Chevy C10 Complete Suspension Lowering Kit - Spindles / Flip Kit and 2120 1973-87 Chevy C10 - GMC C15 C-Notch Kit - Bolt In. We paid over $1k for the entire kit. We received two large boxes on May 22nd and were excited to get started on the drop. When we opened the boxes we found that half the parts were missing. We'd only received the C-notch Kit, the Axle Flip Kit and some hardware. I emailed "info@westernchassis.com". I was emailed back within about 2-3 hours by John Lawrence stating "The other items are currently out of stock and will ship once they arrive. We shipped what we had in stock." This was the first frustration with this order mainly because the website didn't say anything about backordered items or out of stock itemsZer. I emailed back the next day asking if they had a time estimate for when the other parts might be available. John told me that "The spindles are the longest out of stock and will be 3-4 weeks until they are back in stock." And "We are working with a possible secondary supplier." At this point I was disappointed but still holding out hope we could make our first car show on July 15th. I patiently waited for a couple weeks and we got installed on the truck what we could. I emailed again on June 8th requesting an update on delivery status. John emailed back within a day stating "Still looking. Do not have a solid ETA right now but I am working on it". What? I had been lied to. This was the second frustration with this order. I felt I had been lied to and began to suspect that we would miss our already paid for car shows. On June 18th, we received a 3rd box and thought Finally! They're here! We opened the box only to be frustrated a third time when all we found were the two Coil springs. I emailed again on June 20th letting them know I received the third box and asked again for updates. John stated "Spindles are about 3 weeks out. I received a completion notice from the foundry but have not received a tracking number yet." This was the fourth frustration. Now I'm mad because it's been over a month since our order and we have a show in just over 3 weeks. I emailed again on June 30th asking for an update as we were trying to make the July 15th show. This time the reply took a couple days. I received an update from John on July 3rd stating "I am working with a secondary supplier to get the spindles in here as fast as I can but they are not expected for another 7-10 days. I do not believe you will have them in time. Shocks are at least 3-4 weeks out." WTF?!!! Upon receiving this I asked for a partial refund or some kind of compensation for putting us in this situation. I also gave them feedback that it would convenient if their website showed when parts are not available or backordered like most professional organizations do. They would, without a doubt lose business if that were the case so it's not surprising why they don't. To no surprise, after asking for partial refund or compensation, I haven't heard back from John since. To his credit, he was very responsive until the customer got angry and wanted money back. I emailed again on August 1st, now having missed 2 car shows, asking for another update but as of this review have not received any word. I called the company and the phone prompt directs order status inquiries to the "info@westernchassis.com" address. Not getting any answers back there, I called the sales department instead. I only had to wait on hold about 5-10 minutes. I spoke with a man named Jonah and described why I was calling and that I had been emailing with John. Jonah told me that John had "just left for lunch" but he could take a message. I said no thanks but would like to know the status of my order before I get off the phone. Jonah stated "We are supposed to receive the spindles tomorrow but it could be as late as next Friday". I told him that I didn't believe anything they tell me because I'd been told this before. He told me they would update me as soon as the spindles came in. So here I sit angry and feeling scammed, 2.5 months after the order, still missing half a drop kit but having paid for a full one.
