I've been coming to Poke Mole for a while now, and it has always stood out to me because of its unique topping selection--especially the watermelon radish, which is one of the main reasons I continue coming back. The staff has always been friendly, and I was greeted warmly when I walked in today. Unfortunately, my recent visits have left me disappointed. Over time, I've noticed the portions getting noticeably smaller while the prices have continued to increase. I understand that food costs have gone up and that businesses sometimes need to adjust their pricing, but customers should still feel like they're receiving fair value for what they're paying. I ordered the small bowl with sushi rice, which comes with three protein selections. Each scoop contained only about three to four small cubes of fish. For my toppings, I chose watermelon radish, cilantro, jalapeños, cucumbers, and red onion. I was also offered seaweed salad, but the amount added was literally just a tiny pinch--the smallest serving of seaweed salad I've ever received, not just at a poke restaurant, but at any restaurant. This also isn't an isolated experience; it's something I've noticed on multiple visits. After paying about $23, my bowl was only around two-thirds full. At that price point, it's difficult to justify making the drive when I can visit other poke restaurants that provide the same size bowl with noticeably more protein, more generous toppings, and ample sauce without making customers feel like every ingredient is being rationed. The flavor itself was also underwhelming. The bowl could really benefit from a more generous amount of sauce, as the fish tasted fairly bland. A well-balanced poke bowl should be flavorful throughout, and the sauces are an important part of that experience. My intention isn't to criticize for the sake of criticizing. I genuinely enjoy Poke Mole and would love to continue supporting the business because I appreciate the unique ingredients they offer. However, I hope the owners take customer feedback into consideration regarding portion sizes. Most people understand that ingredient costs fluctuate and that prices sometimes need to increase, but there has to be a balance. When customers are paying premium prices while receiving noticeably smaller portions, it leaves them feeling like they aren't getting the value they paid for. Due to a busy weekend I found myself without my normal meal prep for lunch. After a quick search, I found PokeMole and decided to step in. First off, the plaza has really limited amount of parking, with a Starbucks next door, finding a spot immediately would be a blessing. There are meters on the street and for $1 you can park for 15 minutes. The store was clean an there was an abundance of sides and topping to choose from. I got the Big bowl which (I eyeballed) included roughly (12oz) of rice up to 7 scoops of sides (I went with double edamame and cucumber), and protein (Smaller Bowl 3 scoops, Bigger Bowl 4 Scoops). I got the Tuna as I am on a diet and got an extra scoop for the gains. I have been spoiled with such good Poke places as of late, and my honest opinion is that this was OK. Not blown out of my mind good, but serviceable. I felt that even with the extra scoop, was outnumbered by the rice and as the star of the show was a bit of disappointment. My bowl was ok, nothing to write home about. But with the Bigger bowl and extra protein, it cost me $30 which, to me was expensive for what I tasted where I could have gotten the same thing else where for just under $30. If your nearby and your craving poke, PokeMole does a serviceable job. However, if you expecting a lot, stop them at the door or go somewhere else. read more

Stopped by here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! First, this is located within a small parking plaza which means they have free parking, if you can find a spot. The inside is nice and clean, and the employee was nice and helpful. She made sure we understood the menu and how to order, which is always great. Currently, their regular size is $20 and it comes with your choice of three proteins and 5 toppings, which is what I ordered. The fish tastes nice and fresh, and the toppings also tasted fresh.
