This is a cute sushi spot, every item we had was a hit! The Toro (melts in your mouth) , white house roll (jalapeño, a little spicy) this roll was our favorite! It was super fresh and simple! Redline Roll a heavier roll in the best way. It's got the drizzles of sauces and also the onion crunch. Spicy tuna crispy rice (mild spice) was delicious and had a lot of spicy tuna on top! The restaurant is located in a plaza so there is parking available. We were the only ones eating when we came in. Customer service was fantastic! Very attentive and everything came out very quickly! Biggest highlight is the free parking and customer service. The food was overall good for the price. If you're trying to eat sushi on a budget, I'd recommend this place. For my pickier sushi folks that are craving raw fish, I'd lower my expectations or choose elsewhere. Don't expect premium quality, but budget friendly. + Bogo draft beer because of new opening. It took over Hanabi sushi + White House roll was really good + sushito peppers were flavorful Scallop and chef selection presentation was great. As someone who grew up in SF, finding good sushi in LA has been an impossible task. I've tried every recommendation. Every 4-5 star. All with the same outcome, meh. I got a tip from a close friend that this was the best sushi he has had, not just in LA but potentially ever. I had nothing to lose so I came out to Redline Sushi and WOW. I got the Chef's Choice Sushi and my first bite took me back to my time in Japan. Fresh, melting in my mouth. I also ordered some American style rolls which were great but if you're coming here please try the nigiri! I will be back again and again! Found this new sushi spot through Yelp and it definitely exceeded expectations. First off, they have a free parking lot, which is already a huge plus. The restaurant itself is super clean, and the hospitality and service were amazing from start to finish. Chef Michelle took such great care of us the entire time and made the experience feel really welcoming. They're currently doing a 2-for-1 Sapporo tap beer special, which was such a nice surprise. The fish quality was incredibly fresh, especially for the price point. I've been searching for a cozy neighborhood sushi spot with that hidden gem feel, and I think I finally found it. This place has been open for 7 days and I winded up coming here randomly because my girlfriend lives nearby. To my surprise the restaurant is super clean, the service is great, and the food is amazing for the cost. She even boxed up my left overs for me. I'd highly recommend checking out this place. We tried two of them and then it decided to get a third one which was Michelle's recommendation. I'm glad we took her advice because it was so buttery and lemony and unique. We were enjoying the visit so much that it did not occur to me to take any photos to now share here. However, the ones I see in other reviews represent all rather well. We were welcomed by the smiling owner as soon as we stepped through the door, and she ushered us to a cozy spot in the corner. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was comfortable and inviting, the place being just the right size for a great meal with friends, family, or even a date. We started by ordering some drinks and a few of the rolls. It took no time at all before they appeared at the table, elegantly presented and, importantly, incredibly tasty. We chased our caterpillar and other rolls with a dragon roll, hand roll, and some kanpachi carpaccio. Everything was delicious, but the carpaccio was to die for -- buttery, smooth, and delectable. Had I not been full, I would have placed a second order of it! At any rate, the arrival of this sushi joint has elevated the area a notch, and it is worth the visit. The owner and her staff clearly care about the quality of their establishment, the food that they offer, and the experience of their growing pool of customers.
