The food was nice and light! I loved the bounciness and chewiness of the udon and the tempura is a nice touch for a little protein in the meal! I liked the seaweed since it added a touch of greens and the service was good! The cashier told me how things work around here! The ambiance was average with families going around and having fun chatting by and enjoying meals! TIP: There's a restroom here and this area is a place in the Koreatown Plaza! Was recommended by this place from a friend who frequented this plaza a lot. I got an 8 Piece salmon roll with miso soup for $6! Honestly, the soup portion they gave was filling to me already. I haven't had much chance to try the other stuff on them menu since I mainly come for the budget-friendly deal. I have been here at least 6 times and loved it! While waiting for my order, many of the other orders looked delicious and mouth watering. Hoping to try new dishes next time when I come! Food court is always busy! This food stand is located in the Koreatown Plaza food court. I got the chicken karage bento for $17 and it was pretty good! Lots of variety. It came with fried chicken karage over rice with a sweet soy dipping sauce, miso soup, 4 pieces of California roll, salad, fried dumplings, and a fried egg roll. All of the food was yummy! When you finish ordering your food, they give you a buzzer and will buzz it for you to come to pickup your food. Once you're finished with your food, you can just leave your plates and trays on the table and a staff member will buss it. We come all the way here from Irvine because this is my son's favorite place to eat. His go-to menu is the Udon and Unagi Roll Combo. The owner's warm and friendly hospitality always makes our visits so pleasant. We're especially touched by the thoughtful gestures, like preparing a side bowl and fork for our child. I can't believe I've never reviewed this place! I come here often with my friends because it's such a good deal right in the middle of Ktown! The sushi is super well priced and absolutely delicious! I'd recommend the California roll, baked salmon roll, and fresh salmon roll! All the rolls come with a miso soup that is also delicious and always hot! It was okay. I've tried better. I got the salmon and spicy tuna basic roll, and I was pleasantly surprised that I got free miso soup. The spicy tuna didn't have enough flavor, and the salmon was too fishy and salty. But, the cashier was very nice, I asked for spicy mayo which they charge $1 for but he gave me it for free if I put it on top of my rolls. But even the spicy mayo was weird, there was chunks of pepper in it and it was way too spicy. The spicy mayo I've eaten is typically creamy and the spice level of sriracha but this was TOO spicy it's not my spice tolerance but if you like that it's for you. read more

Located in the Koreatown Plaza Food court. Order at the food court stall, get a pager, and find an open seat/table. When your pager beeps/vibrates, go to the stall to pick up your food. I ordered the udon and sushi. They were out of fried tofu, so the owner was kind to sub one shrimp tempura. Sushi roll was available sitting in the cold food storage in front, but he offered to make a fresh roll. Water cups are available upon asking. Their water tank is to the left of the stall, past the wall that covers their sushi making station. Udon noodles were perfect chewy and soup was hot and delicious. Not overly salty or overly sweet soup. The roll was a simple California style roll with salmon on top. Ask for their spicy Mayo. I think they mix Mayo with sambal, it's got chili in the spicy Mayo. A hidden gem inside the food court at the Koreatown Plaza. The owners are so nice and the food, especially the $5 rolls, are amazing!! My daughters love the baked salmon rolls, so we come here at least once a week after school. The rolls even come with a side of miso soup!! Can't beat the price and quality! So far, we've tried the spicy tuna roll, the baked salmon roll, the salmon skin roll, and the unagi roll ($8), and they were all pretty solid. Highly recommend! read more

As the only Japanese sushi option in this food court, this place is quite the disappointment. This place fails to produce even mediocre sushi. I understand a few sushi places will pre-make California rolls to re-use later for their premium rolls. However, they were very old because they came out dry, deformed, and almost inedible. Especially avoid the prepackaged rolls. Honestly, this restaurant ranks last in that food court. Go to Hmart across the food court for better sushi. read more

Came here with my brother for a late lunch. We weren't sure what to get because the food court in this mall has many options, but then I noticed they had cold soba!! I had been craving cold soba since summer started!! So we ordered that, a salmon bowl, and an unagi roll. The roll was okay but the soba was fantastic and the teriyaki salmon bowl was great too! Very good portion for price!! Free miso soup with your order too. Not many drink options but the iced green tea was super refreshing. Food was tasty and filling. A guy at the front desk is VERY RUDE!! I asked him for water and he just staring at me and point his finger to the water without saying anything. But I didnt see it since it was hiding so I asked him again, but STILL he was just pointing without any words and looked straight in my eyes. What the f...??! Earlier this week, I ordered two of my personal favorite items. - Combo Plate w/Double Salmon Spicy Mayo - Beef Rib Plate w/1 scoop of rice and mac salad I highly recommend asking for a couple of samples of poké flavors you're curious about before ordering. I got to try CA Hawaiian and Spicy Garlic Salmon which were also fantastic. And you simply can't go wrong with their Shoyu. I'll have to try getting different flavors in my combo plate vs. doubling up next time. Salmon Spicy Mayo is creamy, with a perfect kick to it that makes this specific poké flavor ADDICTING. Truthfully, it's only spicy if you eat too fast. Beef rib plate was fantastic. The item pictured was only my 2nd time ordering this. Moving forward, it's hard not to order considering a) this has a nice smoky flavor b) the meat is so tender & succulent it falls off the bone with a little shake (portion matches the price point, which I deeply appreciate since other places will skimp out on beef). I think the only things I was bummed about was my scoop of mac salad was tiny and there wasn't much furikake on my rice. Not by any means, a major deal since I ultimately got money's worth in juicy beef ribs. Service was stellar. A polite young woman had 2 other customers in front of me with hefty orders, but I was still taken care of promptly. I was given an ETA of 10 mins since one of my plates was made to order, and happy to report my food's arrival was timely.

I ended up with the two flavor combo with shoyu tuna and California Hawaiian. There's girl said it comes with just over half a pound of poke for both flavors. I'm not gonna lie. I kinda like poke and more better but this place is still good. I feel like they give you more poke and is about the same price or a little cheaper. The customer service was also friendly. The inside was clean. No complaints. I haven't tried the hot food here but I'll definitely come back to try it.
