It's a very cozy spot in Koreatown. The staff were friendly, and the chef was incredibly kind as well. They even gave us miso soup on the house--and it was really good. The sushi was very fresh, and the rolls were delicious. The only downside is that they don't serve alcohol, so even if you want to eat more, it feels a little incomplete without a drink

    Chefs choice, incredible!

Sushi Ye did not disappoint. Came in for a quick bite just before servicing photography at an event near by. I was seated quickly, and served with great care. Chef surprised me with his choice. Everything from my Miso soup, custom Philadelphia roll, to my sashimi plate was delicious and fresh. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My drink was excellent! I throughly enjoyed my experience at Sushi Ye.

Amazing place. 100% recommend if you're looking for a nice quiet ambient date spot or night dinner. The fish is incredibly high quality as well! Staff and chef are incredibly kind and service is just the best. 10/10 will return again.

The food and service was amazing! The decor and ambiance was is very inviting. It's a fairly small restaurant with warm lighting along the room which is nice if your with friends or on a date. The sushi was tender and flavorful for a good price. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed a quiet lunch date. The unagi bowl was light and flavorful. Was treated to a delicious seared black snapper sashimi that was out of this world tender. Everything from the wasabi to the decor was on-point and met our satisfaction. Will definitely return....soon.

Amazing and quick serve with fresh quality sushi. Everything was yummy but the yellowtail belly, scallop, and whatever was on the house was my fave. I highly recommend :)

I love coming to sushi Ye. The place is very cozy, Perfect place to get out of the rain and warm up. The all wood interior makes it feel very unique for other place. The sushi is made to order (FRESH) the special roll just melt in your mouth and taste amazing! The servicer is very kind and will get you anything you ask. *Side note this place doesn't serve alcohol*

This is a cute little sushi spot! Gave me a feeling like I was in Japan when I was seated inside. Came on a Friday night and it didn't have a wait, but tables were filled inside. Everything looked good, so finally settled on 2 rolls and a 2 pc halibut sushi. The rolls were perfect .. had just enough rice and the flavor was on point. The halibut sushi had a good ratio of rice to fish, however the fish was a bit chewy for me. Service was awesome! Note that this place doesn't serve alcohol, but you are allowed to bring your own. Looking forward to trying other rolls and sushi with my own alcohol next time!

This place was a hole in the wall of k-town with easy parking! If you're looking for a lunch/dinner spot with easy parking and no wait time, this is the spot ! Came her for lunch and it was pretty quiet, with 1 or 2 tables seated. It is super clean and the menus have photos on each item, making it super easy to order. Upon entering, the server was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the 10 pc assorted sushi that comes with miso soup and 2pc Yellowtail belly. The chef hooked it up with an additional yellowtail belt plus an off-the menu nigiri. Everything was so good, the way the sashimi is slice gives you the most out of your buck. They are pretty big slices of fish, I was pretty full off my order. The amberjack is a must try and their scallop! I am usually not a fan of cooked fish, but their mackerel and eel was insanely soft and umami.

The ambiance was very nice. It was a small shop in a plaza with free parking and security guard. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the sushi couple with came with 12 pc plus an extra one. We also ordered the scallop which was nice and sweet. The shrimp tempura was cooked to perfect both crispy and soft on the inside. The total for the meal came out to be only around $100 which is a fair price.

I love a good lowkey, hole in the wall spot because they usually have the BEST service and attention to detail. This place is exactly that. It's a quaint, cute wooden oasis that has the freshest fish and the best customer service. We ordered the $80 chef's choice and salmon truffle crab appetizer and every bite was HEAVEN. The fish cuts were HUGE and each fish melted in our mouth like butter. Our server was a delight and he spread out our chef choice plates and kept watch so he could bring out the next course at the perfect time. He gave us miso soup & delicious grilled red snapper collar on the house! It was so nice of him. The chef's choice combo had so much food we were sooo full at the end! We noticed that this place doesn't over sauce their fish and it lets the fish quality speak for itself. Their eel was the best eel we've ever had and we loved that they didn't drench it with eel sauce, like many other places do. We had the most amazing dinner here and we'll definitely be back :) the music was good and they were playing a fun show on the TV and we planned to watch it when we got home. We found our new favorite sushi spot in ktown.

    How's the sushi? Fresh?

Their sushi is always fresh! Apprently the owner chef goes to the fish market every morning. They're generous with portion, too. Not rice overload with little fish like some other places.

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

When I made reservations on the phone I asked about the latest reservation and confirmed 10 pm - however I asked if I could sit at the bar and they said not at that time since they closed at 11. When we arrived, there was a couple coming in at 10 and sat at bar...maybe just miscommunication but tha could have prevented us from consuming our food quick and skipping on alcohol since the table we got was not the best. Sushi felt very fresh and there's something about the way they make the rolls that feels different about other places (not sure if in a good way) Great staff and sushi chefs- they were super fast moving from one course to the next one.

Service was great, dedicated bartender was great, and though it's not the best sushi I've ever tasted, I would still bring someone back here for a unique experience.
