I just paid $95 for the employee to STOP making my boba order to allow a poke customer who just walked in to order and pay. I stood there and watched his entire order process. What's worse is that this is the SECOND time this happened... I thought the first may have been a weird fluke. I asked the employee and she said it's their policy to stop boba drinks to help poke customers. 1. I paid $95 to wait 25 minutes for my to-go poke and boba order. Unacceptable. 2. They lost another customer who wanted to order boba because his slow it was, they literally left. There's too much competition for this exact food in the area to have such bad customer service. If they don't fix it, they will lose many more customers to other places.

The size of the salmon was a little too big for my liking. I feel like it would make more sense to make the salmon pieces smaller with more on your bowl. They barely gave the toppings that were included. It was filling probably because of the rice but if it wasn't for the rice, I don't think it would have been filling at all. There's a lot of indoor seating but the owner was sitting at the corner which was kind of uncomfortable. It was a hot day, and it wasn't very cool in there. I don't know if I'd be back to be honest. What keeps me coming back isn't just the delicious, fresh ingredients and generous portions, but the incredible customer service. The owners are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always go above and beyond to make sure every customer has a great experience. Another thing I truly appreciate is how well-organized and easy to understand their menu is. Everything is clearly explained, from the different bowl sizes to the number of ingredients you can choose. You know exactly what you're getting, and the portions are definitely worth it! In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, Poké Jaws truly stands out. You can tell the owners take pride in their business and genuinely care about their customers. If you're anywhere in Vista or the North County San Diego area and looking for fresh, delicious poké with outstanding service, I highly recommend giving Poké Jaws a try! Keep up the amazing work! During those times, the menu was very simple. At that time, the father, mother, and son operated all aspects of the operation. Quality control was huge. And it continues to be the same way today. The fish is always extraordinarily fresh, tender, and pleasant to taste/smell. The rice is always perfectly cooked. The toppings are persistently fresh. Today, the menus is fabulously expanded to include a variety of Japanese and Asia-Fusion items. The decor and seating arrangements are aesthetic and comfortable. I do reminisce on the early stages of this joint back during COVID. There was only one dish on the menu: poke bowl. A lot has changed since then, but the quality has remained unchanged.
