I came in the store and ordered a take-out of a Chicken Ramen. The Ramen noodle is packed separately with the soup. The staff put a plastic warp on top of the very hot soup and then covered it with a plastic cap. When I opened the cap in my car, I saw the plastic warp melting in the soup. I dumped it in the trash and came into the store to ask for some soup directly in the bowl without the plastic wrap. To my surprise, the staff reacted like all hell broke loose. She called the manager and told me that she could not get me more soup because I didn't bring the soup with me and they would not know if the plastic wrap actually melted or not. I have never seen such bad customer service in my life. I ended up eating plain ramen noodle with no seasoning or soup. They were also not very helpful when they were taking my order. If the staff hate serving people, they should get a another job. read more

This review is for their excellent customer service as well as their Macarons and Thai Tea Boba. My daughter wanted dessert and saw that they had macarons. We both chose the vanilla one and it was very good. I also ordered a Thai Tea Boba and it was also very delicious and creamy. The owner, Veranika was the one who helped me & she was extremely considerate enough to change the channel to a kid friendly channel for my daughter, even letting my kid choose what she wanted to watch. I visit this establishment at least two times a month in person and order a large poke bowl and a regular poke bowl. So today I thought I'd save time and place an order online. Huge mistake! I am guessing this place figures that if you can not actually see it being made you do not know what you are missing. Well, since I have ordered here numerous times over the last year, I noticed a huge difference in quality. So, if you enjoy dining at this establishment do not order online. You get what you pay for! So I paid $29 for two bowls and a Mango Black ice tea and honestly it's so worth it! My boyfriend and I usually make two meals out of these bowls so we eat half now and half later I've tried plenty of poke places and there aren't many good places in Montebello for poke but I definitely feel like this is really good! Walked in today and it started off in a bad note immediately received horrible customer service. We had a stamp card, when I noticed they no longer used it. The young gentleman tried his best to say it can maybe be transferred to their new loyalty program however he was cut off by the girl working with him saying "no, no we can't" rudely. This was a let down. I came in about 30 minutes after opening and the ingredients were NOT fresh. The fish portions were minuscule. Poki Go is the best Poki place in the area. Whenever I'm craving poke, I overshoot other poke spots and drive an extra or mile two from my work just to come here. The poke is way fresher here than nearby competitors, and I have never had a problem with a bad ingredient or add-on here. And just so you know, when I order poke, I order a half brown rice and half salad base, salmon, spicy tuna, tuna and EVERYTHING else. And thankfully, they have an easy order system on Yelp. I got the regular which I guess the price went up. Not only that charge u for extra rice since they only give u A little scoop. The scope for the protein were very small. It's like a table spoon. They spoke to the manager, came back and said they would remake the order, but suggested that I was lying and I or my wife removed the Ramen. Average poke spot. Came in to pick up lunch for a co-worker and I thinking poke should be quick. The Asian dude working was trying to get things done and another girl was helping. A third girl did show up but just took her time to wash her hands. When I came in there was only a customer in front of me. When I started ordering, two additional customers came in. One went in line and the other was a phone order. The phone order wasn't even made yet and it took quite a while for them to get to the customer behind me. They just lost a customer today. I was there at around 5 pm for dinner and wanted to wash my hands before eating. They have a sign that says that the bathroom is only for customers, so the bathroom door was locked. Three different times I was told by the two employees that the bathroom was for customers only, and three times I told them that I wanted to eat there. Thank you, but I know how to read and my hearing is just fine. Apparently, you only become a customer after you pay. I have been to this place several times because their poke is pretty good, but their customer service is ridiculously substandard. Maybe they are not familiar with the concept of washing your hands before eating and handling food, which is scary because they work in a restaurant. After the verbal give and take, one of the employees finally gave me the bathroom key, but I was so upset, that I placed it back on the counter and left without using the restroom or buying any food. It is really sad; this was one of the places I usually go to for poki, but I guess that when I am in the area I will just go to Pokiholic in Monterey Park instead. And so much for my free medium bowl. I needed five more visits. My stamp card is in the trash now. Sincerely disappointed. The story continues with an extremely impolite note from the owner, Eunha. I have included a picture with her reply. Number 1: I did not complain. When they told me 3 times the restroom was for customers only, I repeated 3 times that I wanted to eat there. They were the ones who were rude to me by just repeating the same thing over and over as if they were robots or reading from a script. Number 2: I have been to your restaurant at least 4 or 5 times in the last couple of months, but your employees never mentioned anything about Loyalzoo, which doesn't really surprise me, seeing the way they treat customers.
