We ended up ordering 4 bowls and had to throw all 4 bowls alway after only a few bites. The rice was cold hard and soggy, the scoop of crab meat tasted like cheap fat free mayonnaise. The sauce was bland with zero flavor and most importantly the fish did not smell, taste or feel fresh. I've never had an issue with any of the other poki bowls in the Bay Area. To have this location share the same name as the other poki bowls is a disgrace. I feel like this location should have their franchise revoked. Im honestly wondering if my family is going to wake up with food poisoning in the coming days. This place is fine. Poki is expensive everywhere these days so the price isn't really an issue. The only reoccurring issue I have here is how badly prepared the white rice is. This place is misleading, On their webpage is says regular bowl is $16.50. But when you go in person its about $20 or $21 with tax. They dont have much of a choice of topping at all, maybe about 4 or 5. There was avocado (extra charge), imitation crab, masago (extra charge), seaweed (extra charge) and a couple others. I will stick to going to the Poke place off of Main. That place has a ton of different toppings and options, taste better and cheaper.. they don't penny pinch and make you pay extra for most toppings like seaweed. This total price included the 15% tip on the iPad which was the lowest option available without selecting other. And the price wouldn't be an issue if the food was decent. The fish was tough and the rice was all stuck in one chewy clump. Service was nice. But food could use some serious improvements. read more

This location is trash. My wife and I have been getting Poki Bowl every Wednesday night for the past two years. The location off of Cottle is awesome. We started frequenting the Morgan Hill location as it is closer to home. It is always hit or miss with the portions at this spot. There must be some tuna still swimming in the ocean, because it wasn't in her bowl. If it were some food from the dollar menu, we wouldn't care. Meals here are expensive and worth it, when done right. When you get these pathetic portions, you end up feeling like you were playing three fish Monty with a scammer. We called and asked for a refund on the underscooped bowl, but they said the owner will call you tomorrow. When I followed up and called her, the owner was dismissive and said they can't refund it because we ate it. If you wanted us to bring you back raw fish crumbs from the day before, your manager on shift should have said so. People make mistakes, we get it. But when we called in they said that they watched the footage and it the order was definitely made correctly. In the same breath, the owner said that some of her staff overscoops. I said that the same people made the two large bowls in the photo....did they suddenly forget how to scoop between bowls? Avoid this location at all costs. read more

My sister loves this place so I thought why not give it a try. The food was okay. I've definitely had better. I ordered a large and it was definitely packed. The rice was weird definitely not my favorite. The ahi tuna and salmon was good. The spicy tuna wasn't spicy and tasted very bland. The wasabi was watery. I ordered my bowl to be spicy and didn't not have any spice to it all. My sister ordered my food and Hera to go. She mentioned no one was there and the service was fast. I ordered two bowls for pick up and my order was ready before the time I was originally quoted! I had seen Poki Bowl's coming soon sign awhile back and I was surprised to see it on Yelp when I was deciding what to get for dinner. There's really only one other poke place in town so I figured I would give Poki Bowl a try since I've had it several times in SJ. When I picked up my order and checked it in the car, I thought it was missing seaweed salad. When you order online, it's kind of confusing that their seaweed mix is actually just furikake and not seaweed salad. I think it should be renamed or put in parenthesis. The manager/owner saw me come back in with my order and asked me if something was wrong. I said I think I'm missing some things in my bowls. She took my bag to the back and referenced the print out of my order, consulted an employee and told me that the seaweed mix is just the flakes. I also thought one bowl was missing crab but it turns out I forgot to check the box, oops! I told her it was okay but she ended up accommodating both requests. I did point out that I asked for wasabi and ginger to be on the side but it was in my bowl. I know they're still getting the hang of things but wanted to make sure notations were being accommodated. While she was helping me, another customer gave us a dirty look. He said something about waiting until we finish because he couldn't hear anything in an annoyed tone. If you know me, you know that I'm a pretty soft spoken person so I was confused because I definitely wasn't yelling or being loud. The manager asked him if there was a problem and he said no just go ahead and finish. I thought she handled the situation well and she definitely made my experience better. It's not the first time I've encountered dirty looks in this town. When I got home and dug into my food, I wasn't really impressed. The rice was kind of hard, the spicy tuna scoop is so tiny and the fish didn't seem super fresh. I wanted to like this place but I think I'll be sticking to the other poke offering. Poki Bowl is the best poke chain in the Bay Area. Fresh fish, yummy sauce, and avocado doesn't cost extra. I used to visit the Mountain View location regularly before it closed during COVID. This location is new and clean, and the staff are both incredibly efficient and very friendly. read more

This is my go to spot for some Poki! I usually always order ahead and pick up, when I do I get either a regular bowl and musubi or just a bowl. Regardless of what I get, everything is made in great portion and taste amazing! When I pick up my order, the staff.....has the best customer service! I came in for lunch time few days ago and the hours completely changed 4pm-8pm what's going on with this place ?
