2 Scoop Protein Poke Bowl (Spicy tuna + ahi tuna)
    Alexus S.

I'm from California and have been searching for good poke in the city and I can finally say I found it!!! Excellent service, excellent food, excellent prices...couldn't ask for more! The people who were working were so sweet, patient and thorough and let me know if their lunch specials (they have combos that include a bowl + drink or you could get 3 scoops of protein for the price of 2!). I love how it's unlimited toppings/mix ins/sauces- everything I've tried has been so fresh and delicious- I literally have no complaints!! I got a bowl + drink lunch combo for $17.99. I believe a 2 scoop bowl is $13.99 and during lunch (11am-3pm) you get a scoop free! Highly highly recommend- it's small and just take out but super nice and clean. I will definitely be returning!

They have a great lunch deal where you get 3 scoops of protein for the cost of two! There's also a bundle if you get a milk tea with your poke. Option to have salad, white or brown rice as your base in a bowl. Can also get it as a burrito. Protein options are the usual tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, shrimp, plus a few more and vegetarian option (tofu). You can get as many veggies as you want, mix multiple sauces, and any toppings for no extra cost. My guy loads it up whether its lunch or dinner. I've been here multiple times and now he remembers that i dont ever want the wasabi so he skips it without me mentioning it :) Staff is always pleasant and patient. Easy place to quickly pick up a meal. They are doing stamp cards right now. After 9 bowls you get the 10th one free! I've been forgetting to bring my original stamp card and the guy tells me it's okay, he can combine them for me next time. Def recommend coming here!! Good lunch deal, portions, and great staff!

Had a lovely big portion of poke here. The service is family run and very friendly. Happy to answer all questions and give recommendations. I got the ahi bowl with two scoops of protein and pretty much everything on it. They let me stack it on. Very nice. It all tasted so fresh. Loved the wasabi. Would definitely return.

Great portions, fresh offerings, a multitude of choices for your poke bowl. The lunch special is great--an addition of 1 scoop of protein for free. Most of the staff are very friendly and engaged. I have been here multiple times already and I can say that the consistency is impressive and appreciated. I attached picture from two different lunch visits.

Friendly, local poké restaurant that serves delicious and healthy bowls. It's more of a takeout restaurant but there are a few tabled inside. The food is good, fresh and filling! There are many different topping options. I got salmon and it was pretty fresh. They have a lunch special where you get three scoops of protein for the price of two! Very generous! I would eat here all the time if I worked nearby.

When Pokedoke first opened, I frequented it so often that I received a couple of free poke bowls from its stamp cards, through which you get each tenth bowl free. The fish was never too fishy; the rice was great; and the seaweed was not too slimy. The past three times I have gone were underwhelming, with the caveat that I went fifteen minutes before closing. (An 8:45 p.m. close is a bit early, and there are three or so tables if you want to dine-in.) Notably, the rice was stale three times in a row, and the ingredients were inconsistent. I got different lettuce each time, and more generally, the ingredients' quality fluctuate. I guess that nostalgia and hope made me come back the past three times. I hope this place rebounds because I have mostly fond memories of it. But I'll pass on Pokedoke for now.

Found this place after looking up where to eat on the upper west side but super glad that we did! Affordable and great quality! They currently have grand opening deals- we got an extra protein for free. The staff was super nice as well. All their ingredients tasted fresh, I created my own poke bowl, you get to pick what proteins you want and what toppings. I got a poke bowl with salmon x2 and tuna over brown rice with a ton of toppings. I also got their special house sauce which was tasty as well. come again? yes! I love poke so anytime I'm looking for a quicker bite in the area I'd be down to stop by again!

The soup was nothing special, so I think I'd opt for a side salad next time instead. The bowl was packed with an impressive variety of toppings, including salmon, peanuts, fried onions, avocado, oshinko, tamago, and seaweed salad, all topped with a sesame dressing. While I appreciated the generous portions and the freshness of the salmon and vegetables, the bowl felt a bit heavy overall. There was a lot going on, and I found the amount of fried onions and peanuts to be more than necessary. The sesame dressing was tasty, though there was a bit too much of it for my preference. I also noticed that the tamago and seaweed salad tasted premade and a bit sugary, which took away from the light, fresh quality I usually look for in sushi. However, I know that sweetness is fairly common for those ingredients, and I think many people would like this hearty style of poke. Since the fish itself was fresh, I would happily order from here again and will round up to 4 stars, though I'll stick to their regular rolls next time to keep things a bit lighter.

The food always arrives hot, is always well packaged and tasty. My personal go to is the SHAKING BEEF Bo Luc Lac Stir fried Angus steak cube) bun. It is served Served w. Side Salad & Nuoc Cham: (Romaine, Cucumber, Pickled Mustard, Grape Tomatoes, Carrots & Daikon). I appreciate the choice of Vermicelli rice noodle, Thai Jasmine rice or Solely Salad. I always choose rice and the packaging is amazing, the beef is kept seperate from the rice and arrives hot and aromatic. My mom also loves this dish but ordered it with the solely salad and opts for double veggies. We have also tried several of the bahn mini including the lemongrass chicken, the brisket and the braised short rib. All are tasty. I do recommend adding the dip for $1 as it really takes it to the next level! I ordered the lychee iced tea sweetened today. It was sweet but not too sweet which I appreciated and as with everything from 5ive spice very thoughtfully packaged in a way that there is no leaking in transit. 5ive spice has some great all day and happy hour specials, I look forward to trying their food in person when I am in the area. Customer service: One time, on a particularly busy weekend in NYC, I received the wrong bahn mi sandwich. I ordered the brisket bahn mi and received the lemongrass chicken. When I called 5ive Spice, I spoke to the manager John who was incredibly apologetic and explained it was a very busy night, without offering excuses. He offered a full refund and invited me to order again and call and he would include a complimentary bahn mi. For what it's worth, it was a very busy night in NYC, all of the restaurants we were trying to get take out or delivery from were quoting 2+ hours, and John handled the situation perfectly. The food we received was tasty and did arrive on time.
