I've been going here a bit too much not to update. As the other good sushi place in the area (Oishi) has both gotten more expensive and now essentially matches this spot in terms of price, I prefer this place now. The sushi quality is just as good, the staff is a whole lot nicer (with the staff at the other spot concentrating on takeout orders primarily,) and there's more options. An example would be the unique seafood hot and sour (with fish cake and mini shrimp) with your sushi instead of the usual generic miso soup which is also a bit better here as well with the addition of mushrooms. read more

But I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, because they often don't allow you to make changes to what they have on the menu. For example, if something comes with tuna OR salmon, and you want half tuna and half salmon instead, they won't do that. Other places normally allow that.
