Just tried this place on their Grand Opening Day, and let me just say, thank goodness The Woodlands/Conroe area finally has a great poke place! We tried the Red Dragon Sushi Burrito, the grand opening bowl, and 4 of the happy baos. The burrito I had was full of flavor and tasted fresh. My brother had the poke bowl, and he said it also tasted good and tasty. Of the four baos, our favorite was the one with the soft-shelled crab. I think it's a great value for the freshness And quality of the food you are getting. The service and wait was a little slow, however, but that is understandable considering it is their first day. Also, they have a lot more options than a regular poke place, which I think is good too for different people. Overall, the food was great and we will definitely be back! :-) read more

The only place that I know of where you can get Poke Bowls. They make the best, most fresh and tasty Poke bowls with many, many choice of toppings. I'm fortunate to live 5 mins away so I stop by here at least once a week after work on the way home. The service is great and fast but attentive. I went today specifically for a Poke bowl because I have been thinking about Poke since the day I got home from Hawaii. Of course we are in Texas so they don't give you near as much protein, but it still tasted great. I got the regular which is two scoops of protein, (I got salmon and spicy tuna), I might have to get the large next time just to get an extra scoop of tuna or salmon. It definitely tasted good and I also added carrots, cabbage, jalapenos and the miso mayo. I have only had poke basically ready to go, so I didn't know you can add all the other stuff and it was a little overwhelming. I also got my boyfriend the Ninja Burrito which has shrimp and bar b q and some other fillers. He said they put enough protein so his was just right! I loved the bowl and egg rolls so much, it was super filling and for the amount of food I got I had left overs. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, maybe I went during a slow time since it was early but it was quiet inside. I know another review mentioned a fish smell but it's not that strong, and you won't notice it after being inside for a couple minutes, the lady at the register was fast and kind. This is probably going to be one of my favorite places to eat frequently. The price is reasonable, staff is very friendly, and they make recommendations of what would go well. I got a Regular Poke with sushi rice, two types of protein, and unlimited amount of toppings. I also tried the Peppered Tuna Bao, and my boyfriend got the Shaggy burrito. The burritos are not as big as U'Maki and you can't really customize them, but they are super flavorful and really good. I am excited to go back again and try a different type of Poke. read more

Out of all the poke places I've ever tried this place definitely was the worst experience ever. I trusted it because of all the good reviews, but after trying it out I feel compelled to write an honest review. The protein did not not taste fresh, along with the add ins. I got 3 sauces in my bowl, and my entire bowl still seemed dry like there was no sauce at all. We did get the jalapeño poppers which were realllly good, but these had WAYYY to much sauce on them like an overwhelming amount. And then barely any on our bowls. The Bubble milk tea that I purchased was extra starchy... the tapioca balls( were a 0 at of 10 rating)... not sweet, the texture was bad too... too soft.. the tea was very starchy. My sister asked for a Taro tea ( which was made incorrectly) when she asked to replace it. The employee said, no. I'm not sure what to say, other than just underwhelming. Last time I visited this establishment they had just opened and offered the Bao's (which were delicious) I enjoyed their poke bowls as well. Went in today and the girl working there seemed to have a very fake happy attitude. Basically I ask if I can have a Thai tea she quickly says, almost in an annoyed way, "we don't have any!" And when I was ordering the bowl she Just seemed a bit annoyed. I get it, sometimes you're having a bad day and can't help it and don't want to talk to anyone but it was a bit disheartening. I ordered the two scoop bowl, But then when I get home to open my food I literally have 5-6 small pieces of salmon. Definitely not worthy of being called a scoop, the salmon had that faint fishy taste as well, which is a clear indicator the fish is not fresh. The sauces and rice and toppings were good though so for that I give it 2 stars. Super close to my parents home so I wish I would've had a better experiencing but don't really care to come back, I guess try it if you're super into poke as it does have good flavor but don't expect anything out of this world (went to another poke spot yesterday and customer service was AMAZING, portions were generous and flavor delicious) I guess my point is that amazing poke places do exist it just isn't this one read more

The bowl looks huge because it's packed with rice. Then when asking if we can have just a little more of the additions we were told we would be charged extra. Did it have flavor? Meh. My boyfriend and I ordered: the shaggy dog sushi burrito, crab daddy bao, New Yorker bao, fish tempura bao, and shrimp tempura bao. The baos were okay, nothing really stood out as amazing for me compared to other places that sell baos in Houston. The shrimp tempura was slightly undercooked and mushy on the inside. The only thing that really saved the experience was the sushi burrito, which was good but I've also had better at other places. Expect a long wait to order if there's a line and for your food to come out, which is understandable since they just opened a few days ago. Finally a poke place in the woodlands! I had a lot of hope for this place bc I love poke and I don't love driving downtown to have some! I'd have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The fish was good...the toppings decent...the sauces and the quality and taste of the rice were both excellent! Service and staff was nice and friendly! It's an odd set up where you pass down the whole line to pay and then back up and make your bowl. If the owner is reading I would really recommend doing it the "typical" way like subway, MOD, salada or any "build your meal" place does is...build your meal and then pay at the end...just makes more sense. I'd also recommend a little more fish instead of the small two scoops ...the scoops are bigger at most places. All that being said...taste was great and service friendly...I'll be back! read more

Do not skip this place if you are in South Conroe close to the Woodlands. Portions are generous and the selection is probably one of the best I've ever seen at a poke bowl place. The servers do not skimp and are very friendly. They do have milk tea with Boba. Only downside is they do not make smoothie Boba. That was the only thing I was left craving. Please try this place!
