Our barkeeps were the usual - they know us and are professional and simpatico. My martini was perfectly prepared (as it usually is), but at a favorable price. We loved the Caesar bites, so light and tasty. Our steak dishes were also perfect. Value was excellent we escaped for -$140 including tip. We also sprung for the grilled calamari tubes and the chef did a great job of not overcooking while achieving an excellent char. We shared the baked cod and the spice was delicate and perfect. Using cured lemon was a very clever idea as the sauce was not too strong but still had depth; the saffron and turmeric were well balanced. The fish itself was NOT overcooked and flaked perfectly. The vegetables were also executed well and cooked so they could be eaten with the same bite. The star of the show was still the cook on the fish with the wonderful sauce. The sever gave us some Moroccan mint tea which was also wonderful. We will be making the drive from the Maine Line to just to dine here again.

Instead of remaking the dish, they took the same fish back, removed the toppings, left the tomato residue and brought it back out with the same side; including cold rice. After I clearly stated an allergy, serving the same fish with the tomato residue is unacceptable. This was careless and disappointing. If a customer mentions a food allergy, the dish should be remade, not modified and sent back out.

The menu looked both Thai and Japanese, with larger plates and smaller snacks. We chose Steak Hibachi with Noodles and Curry Puff Chicken as an appetizer. Both were very good. The puffs were with a mild yellow curry and ample chicken wrapped in a deep fried dough, and came with a sweet/hot dipping sauce. There were four to an order, and enough to fill me for several hours. The hibachi was small pieces of decent steak, veggies, medium Thai spicy over very tasty noodles. Rice was an available option. We found both dishes very much to our liking. Service from the friendly, accommodating truck owners was all we wanted, and they were responsive to our questions and clearly aiming to please. The pink package van outfitted with complete kitchen, had cherry blossoms painted all around and two red paper Chinese lanterns hanging above the window. Perfect for this Age of Barbie.
