I did and they called me saying they could do it. Great, the dealer charges about 500 and I could do ot myself for under 339. Service advisor said it would be over 1000 dollars and if I didn't want it that I pay 85 for them telling me what a ridiculous, twice as much as VW dealer would charge. They had my car so I paid the 85 and want them to know they lost a customer for now unless something happens. Why did I not be told 85 bucks just to see if they can do a job?

I had a problem with a tire and I was a bit concerned (I have fairly unusual tires that are difficult to find). They took it, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes and it turned out to be something very minor. While I was there I had them do some routine maintenance (oil change, air filter, tire rotation, etc.). I was in and out in about 90 minutes and the price was very reasonable. The seem like good, honorable mechanics. Also, their online appointment system worked flawlessly. I set a time, they offered a different time (just two hours later), they confirmed by text and email and were ready and waiting for me when I arrived. So often those online/electronic systems do not work. This was terrific. I will be back.

This business rocks when it comes to excellent customer service!!!…read more About a year ago not one, but three of my tires on my leased BMW blew out, and a wheel was damaged after supposedly going over some potholes, a $1500 expense. (I learned the hard way that low profile tires are prone to this happening.....would have been nice if I would have been advised of this when I bought the car). Based on information given to me by the dealership I purchased the car from, I was told by a service person there, that when I had to replace the one original tire, and because as it was an all wheel drive vehicle, that all four tires, including the three new tires, would have to be replaced at the same time. Here's where the great customer service from Olson Tire comes in. As I had about 17,000 miles on the one original tire, I had them order four new tires, and took my car in today to have them replaced. About 20 minutes later I got a call from Dylan, one of the mangers there, advising me that there was enough tread on the original tire, and based on my annual mileage I was accumulating, would be more than enough to last me through the lease. Dylan's advice prompted to call the dealership once again, and I spoke with a Service Manager who informed me that if the original tire would have to be replaced at the time of turning the car in, I would only be billed for "one" tire, even though all four would have to be replaced. If the tech at Olson had not consulted with Dylan on this, I would have replaced four tires at and out of pocket expense of around $1100.00!!! This action on their part will be saving me roughly about $900.00, assuming the original tire has to be replaced. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to the team at Olson Tire. In these days where auto repair and tire shops get bad press for performing unnecessary maintenance or repairs, this business sets the bar for others. Again, THANKS!!

Another great experience from Olson Tire and Auto. My…read moreregular tires were wearing out and the dealer said it was responsible for the "vibrating." The the dealer provided a number of options. I did a fair amount of additional research and then went to Olson. They provided four great options. All would need to be ordered and would arrive within 3-4 days. I also went to a big chain tire store. The chain provided two of the same options that Olson had. Olson was way less than the dealer (of course) and their price for the exact same tire was less than the chain tire store, as well. Brought the car in today. Received a loaner. They found an issue with the tire pressure monitor (which has been an issue with my car). They diagnosed it and tried a couple of things. It appears to be fixed. The diagnosis and "fix" did not cost a thing. The best place in Wausau for tires and auto service. Also, their body shop is top notch!
