I swerved to my left to avoid a crash and ended up on the raised mediam. Thank God, I didn't hit a power pole or tree. So. here I am, only been here since March 13. The impact messed up my front suspension, and I am clueless as to which mechanic to trust. My truck, Greenie, will take several days to repair. I live in Marathon City and work in the Walmart pharmacy, and MUST get to work every day. So, I gingerly drove down off the medium. As soon as I started driving (slowly), both tires started squalling, Yep, front steering sector fritzed big time, and I needed to get an AWD vehicle. The best plan I could come up with was to drive a mile to a dealership near Menard, check their inventory, get recommendations on mechanics in the area, and buy a clean, AWD vehicle. SelectAUTO came up as highly recommended, though they are located in Weston. I requested that they send a wrecker, which they did, and I sailed away in a 2017 Ford Escape. Mike Molitor, the manager, is extra nice, very helpful. It took 10 days to assemble the parts and get them installed. While they were at it, they adjusted and cleaned my brakes. Nicely done! Reasonable too.!

They didn't do half the things I asked them to do and made every excuse under the sun on why they couldn't get it done. I was without my vehicle for numerous days while I waited for them to complete the work. I had to physically show up and ask what was going on with my vehicle to get any answers, just to find they hadn't even completed the work. Not once, but twice I had to physically show up to get information on the status of my vehicle. They failed to call me back when promised. They literally make every excuse and take zero responsibility for their work or lack thereof. I even accommodated them when they were having computer issues and gave them three extra days to work on my vehicle, but when I showed up, it still wasn't done. I will never bring a vehicle anywhere near this facility. Read the rest of the one star reviews. Sounds like this is par for the course for these guys. The manager even lied about who the owner was so I wouldn't contact them. Based off the other reviews, Doesn't sound like it would matter anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote the decent reviews they have themselves... I'm just not seeing any value here. Save your time. Save your money. Go somewhere else. I'm choosing Auto Select next time. Update : The plot thickens. They charged me to top off my coolant but when I checked it, it was empty!!! This place is seriously laughable. But, they said they didn't know if they could do a drain and fill with filter replacement for auto 2012 passat and they said I had to take it in to see if they could. I did and they called me saying they could do it. Great, the dealer charges about 500 and I could do ot myself for under 339. Service advisor said it would be over 1000 dollars and if I didn't want it that I pay 85 for them telling me what a ridiculous, twice as much as VW dealer would charge. They had my car so I paid the 85 and want them to know they lost a customer for now unless something happens. Why did I not be told 85 bucks just to see if they can do a job?

I had a problem with a tire and I was a bit concerned (I have fairly unusual tires that are difficult to find). They took it, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes and it turned out to be something very minor. While I was there I had them do some routine maintenance (oil change, air filter, tire rotation, etc.). I was in and out in about 90 minutes and the price was very reasonable. The seem like good, honorable mechanics. Also, their online appointment system worked flawlessly. I set a time, they offered a different time (just two hours later), they confirmed by text and email and were ready and waiting for me when I arrived. So often those online/electronic systems do not work. This was terrific. I will be back.
