I brought my 2021 Jeep Gladiator in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. About three weeks later, while checking my fluids, I discovered that the screws for my engine air filter box had not been reinstalled. The airbox was not properly secured, meaning my engine had been completely exposed to dirt and debris during that time. This is a basic but critical step that was completely missed. Because this location is about an hour and a half away from me, returning just to have a few screws reinstalled was not practical. I ended up going to a hardware store, spending my own money, and fixing the issue myself. I reached out to the store to address the situation. Kevin was helpful and apologized, which I appreciated. However, I have yet to hear back from the store manager, Derek, after five days, which is disappointing given the seriousness of the oversight. I want to be clear, not all Tires Plus locations are the same. I've had excellent experiences at the Oak Creek, Wisconsin location working with Kim Smith and his team, their service is top notch! Unfortunately, this Wausau location did not meet those standards. Based on this experience, I would recommend caution when choosing this location.

On Friday 6/12/2015, I headed up to the twin cities, MN from Appleton, WI...... I realized i needed…read moreto get an oil change so this was the most convenient and logical place to go to. So a week goes by after my oil change and i started noticing a oil leak dripping from the bottom of my vehicle. You can clearly see wet oil spots when the vehicle has moved away from being stationary. I took note of this oil leak seriously so i took it to my mechanic to take a look at it. From my mechanic's point of view, he noticed a leak coming from the oil drain plug and noticed that the drain plug was stripped from over tightening it. My mechanic suggested i go back to the shop that did my oil change and have them correct it. Today (6/23/2015) i finally got a chance to take a trip back to Wausau to have them take a look at it. As I pulled in, I didn't have to wait long before they got me in. I explained to them about the oil leak and they took it seriously and looked into it. As they went to work, they also noticed what my mechanic had pointed it out. They took care of me and got me a new drain plug plus a free oil change. I'm happy that they took me seriously and made sure I was taken care of. They live up to their expectations. I would go back to them and recommend them for future service.
