Auto Select popped up on Yelp and we called. Even though all appointments for that afternoon were booked, they agreed to take a look for us. We got there an hour or so later, left the vehicle, and walked across the street to Dunkin Donuts to wait. About 15-20 minutes later, through the window at our table, we saw one of the mechanics not run but actually SPRINT to the car and pull it up to the garage for service. This place was not lying about their exceptional service. They kept us in the loop via phone about the areas of the car they were inspecting and what the associated costs would be. Ultimately we ended up having to replace the compressor, which was a bummer as it was not cheap, but the price they quoted was fair and we were happy they had the part on hand. All in all, only took 2-3 hours and we were back on our way. AC is working again and we were happy to be kept cool the entire holiday weekend. Thanks Auto-Select! If you already know what's wrong with your car and you tell them what you want they are not bad mechanics but if you go there and you don't know what you're talking about they will take advantage over you and screw you for every dime. I needed to get my axle fixed and I knew exactly what was wrong with it. I took it there and they told me everything up to my steering column was gone and needed to be replaced. The bill was about $2000 is what they quoted. And they try to convince income for me that everything needed to be replaced when it did not. Everything is just fine other than what I came there for.

Picked it up later that evening and was told I needed a new tube because the old tube was bad. Paid for the tube and service. Got home and left it in the truck over night. 8/15 I tried to mount the wheel but the tire was flat again so I tried to fill the tire with air with no luck. I found air leaking through the valve stem again so I took it back in to the shop. Granted the shop was closing in 10 mins they told me I brought them the wrong sized tube. I said I bought the tube from them and the service writer proceeded to tell me he could get me a new tube in the morning or put in a valve stem and just fill it without the tube. I opted to have them replace the valve stem and remove the tube and give me a refund for the wrong tube I didn't need. No refund and still tried to convince me to bring it back for a new tube. Said he couldn't authorize a refund of $19. 8/16. I called and spoke to a manager about the ordeal And asked for a refund for the tube. I was given a refund for the tube and service. Appreciated, but a little late.
