I had a pedicure & manicure from Amber and couldn't have been more disappointed. The…read morereservationist failed to communicate our agreement for a "mini-pedi" so I got the bargain of only paying $10 over our agreed upon price. In spite of the pedi going first, leaving what I thought would be ample drying time, one toe was destroyed before I reached home, presumably from the repeated touching up which left a wealth of polish. She oiled my cuticles, but failed to remove all the oil with her alcohol swab, so the manicure lasted less than two days before the edges started peeling. No apologies from the management who says their "girls" are all independent. Next time I'll save my $90, buy a bottle of nice wine and do a far more professional job myself without the intrusive fluorescent lights, noise, and school-girl "independent agents."

I honestly can't recommend this place enough! I'm very picky about who does my eyebrows because…read moreI've had some bad experiences in the past, so I always get a little nervous trying someone new. After reading the reviews, I decided to give Eyebrow Art a try, and I'm so glad I did! The studio was spotless, professional, and had such a welcoming, relaxing vibe! Kulwinder was amazing from start to finish. Before she even touched my eyebrows, she took the time to listen to everything I wanted and all of my concerns. I never felt rushed, and she was so kind, gentle, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the entire appointment. What I appreciated most was that she genuinely cared about getting my brows to look their best--not just for that day, but long-term. She explained that she's leaving certain areas to grow in so she can gradually make my eyebrows as even and symmetrical as possible instead of over-threading them. That level of honesty and attention to detail is so hard to find, and it made me trust her even more! I left so happy with my eyebrows, and I can confidently say I've found my new go-to person! If you're someone who's nervous about trusting a new eyebrow threader or you're really particular about your brows, definitely go see Kulwinder. She does amazing work, and I'll absolutely be coming back as a regular customer!

Evolution is the place to go for all your skincare & nail needs…read more First, let me start with the owner and esthetician, Denise. I am also an esthetician so Im very picky who I trust for my skincare needs. She is very professional, keeps everything in her room very sanitary, has a high level of product knowledge, and really listens to my skincare needs. She offers several different peels, microdermabrasion, and Im sure a lot of other good stuff I dont even know about. The facial she gave me left my skin looking & feeling radiant. The products she uses & sells is top quality. Denise has beautiful skin although she claims to have had problematic skin in the past, you wouldnt be able to tell. She is a walking billboard for the pride she takes in skincare. Now with Shaunna, who has been doing my nails for the last 3 years. I have seen her blossom into an amazing manicurist. She uses top quality nail care products that keep your nails healthy. She is extremely meticulous so my nails & toes always look perfect! My hands are exposed to so many different products during the day with my job that my nails take a beating. I have never been able to keep a product that held up to my abuse until I met Shaunna. I also bartend so Im constantly washing my hands and I never have a problem with the gel she uses. I always get compliments on my nails & toes since they always look like they had just been done. They never chip, fade, or look tattered. She is quick, professional, sanitary, & just the cutest lil thing you'll set your eyes on!! The front of the salon has a selection of Youngblood makeup, skincare products, purses, wallets, jewelry, scarves, etc. She also carries the Clarisonic which is a must for your skin. The atmosphere is warm, classy, inviting, very clean, with a homey feel. I absolutely love this salon and the service you get here!!

She was a bit shifty at first but then settled down and was well behaved afterwards. I love when 2 people work on me at once. It goes faster, especially when I have my dog with me and need to get her out quick. I decided to do something new with my fingers. I got the "glamorous nude" dip and different colors for the tips of the nails. For my feet, I did calluses ($5) though not enough taken off unfortunately and gel (white). It was $72 and $68 respectively. I tipped and gave an extra tip for my pup because they were so patient. Absolutely loved the service. Very clean/neat and spacious location. Love how it's right there. Can't believe it would take me this long to go in. So glad I did ! Now im ready for Bottlerock

Review is for 1 regular pedicure, which will likely be my last here…read more I went on a Friday evening. I called in the afternoon to see if they had any openings, they gave me a time to come in last minute which I appreciate. I asked what are the pedicure options, was told there are 2 but that I could just have the "basic". So I couldn't even choose what I wanted. The lady nail tech was very friendly, upbeat and nice. However: - Nail shape was good overall except one nail was shaped so sharply like a triangle - Paint job was somewhat uneven I had to go in with my own top coat at home to make it look better. - 1 big toe nail was painted so thickly that after 2+ hours of drying it smudged. Bathroom cleanliness made me wonder how clean they are with everything else. It was clean enough but did seem like it was a little neglected. Lesson I learned: if salon makes you feel uneasy in some way, even just a little, it's ok to cancel and leave! Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. If I can do a better job with my nails at home, and if I have to go in and fix the nail tech's work, it's a big no for me!

Linda saved my lashes!…read more I've been to Linda before after buying a deal on Groupon. I already knew that she did an amazing job, but being the bargain hunter that I am, the next time I decided to get my lashes done, I went for a deal at a spa in Sonoma. 2 1/2 hours later, my lashes still looked pretty bare. Desperate to get my time and money's worth, I texted Linda a picture of my lashes and asked her if she would be able to fill them for me. She was professional and kind and she got me in within a couple of days. In less than an hour, she not only removed the lashes that were barely hanging on, but filled them in, making them look feminine and elegant, just as I was hoping for. On top of everything her price was fair. Lesson learned: A low price DOES NOT always equal a good deal.
