Visited Podlasie with my father (we are American of Ukrainian descent) and we FEASTED. The pierogies were (no offense baba) the closest I've had to my grandmothers in years. We FEASTED everything was delicious. The servers were very friendly and the restaurant is full of Polish / Eastern European treats and snacks which were so fun to shop through and buy! In Buffalo, we have Polish Villa and Potts Deli, in Endicott they have Podlasie. They have a limited menu - only authentic Polish food. This is just down the road from my sons house. Polish platter all around except for my granddaughter and husband. My granddaughter had the grilled cheese it was so good and she ate the whole thing. My husband at the goulash, which is more like a stew in Poland. It has a spicy sauce which was really good. The polish platter highlights all the food they are good for. Everything is homemade and you need to go there to try it. They also sell polish items, such as candy. Very authentic and great to see something like this. Go try and enjoy! read more

Omg was this place amazing!!! The only true Polish restaurant I've been to. I live 2.5 hours away but if ever passing through I will make sure to stop by! Portions are European and delicious! We had the salmon appetizer and the Polish platter as well as the goulash. The homemade cake dessert was also incredible!They also have some great Polish beer alcoholic and non to try. My favorite thing to do in Binghamton is discover new restaurants; hidden gems that somehow, growing up here, I must have missed. Podlasie came up when my wife's family (who I guess is part Polish) brought it to my attention. Open 3-8pm for dinner, we showed up right at 3pm. It was unassuming on the outside but surprisingly very clean and modern looking inside. The food was outstanding, made to order, and definitely authentic Polish. Kielbasa had amazing flavor. The house special is an easy go to that our family ordered. I personally had the stuffed chicken cutlet which I would get again however most likely will explore the menu more. It all looked great. I have been wanting to try this place ever since I same upon it on Yelp, it completely surpassed all expectations I had! It does look like much from the outside, but it is an adorable little place inside! The waiter was a very nice young man (I later found out he's the owners son) he greeted us as soon as we walked in and was very kind. All over the dining room you will find many different kinds of Polish candy that you can purchase. They also have an assortment of Polish sodas and beer! Enough of that, let's talk food! We got the fruit filled pierogi, 4 strawberry and 4 blueberry served with sweet cream, they were amazing! For the main course we both got the sampler which comes with kielbasa (the best I've ever had!) sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, and 4 pierogi (choice of potato and cheese or mushrooms and sauerkraut) both of those were amazing! And for dessert we had babka with vanilla ice cream and blueberries! We were both blown away by this experience, no doubt one of the top five best dinners I've ever had! read more

Went in fairly early for dinner and everything was phenomenal!! The fresh and hot bread was amazing. The portions were perfect as were the prices (extremely affordable). We came as a group of 3 and the guys I was with really enjoyed trying Polish beer, while I tried the Polish wine. While we waited we browsed around all the special candies!! The service was perfect. Our waitress checked just often enough but wasn't overbearing. As a bartender and server myself I can really appreciate that. I tell everyone to try it out. Can't wait to go back. read more

I have not been to a polish restaurant before so I can not compare but we both really enjoyed our potato pancake with smoked salmon and dill sour cream appetizer and our combination entrees consisting of kielbasa, pierogis and stuffed cabbage. Great hospitality! But we found the food to be really bland. We got two plates of pierogis and a Polish sampler plate. Also weren't overly impressed with the price to quantity ratio of the pierogis, but they are homemade. And the family does try and pick their own local fruits to add to their recipes when possible, so that's cool. read more

I am lucky that I live in Endicott because Podlasie is so close by! Worth the drive though if you don't live close, I promise. Their halupki is what I dream of in a halupki... the cabbage is tender and the meat and rice mixture is perfect and flavorful. The kielbasa is the best I have had in the area! The selection of Polish beer is a nice change of pace. I enjoyed the Kopernik tonight which is a nice mellow pilsner. The service is always spot on; a bit slower, but that's not a problem to me. Nice little find in Endicott. We started with the Borsch bouillon soup which had a nice bite to it. We had the house made sweet cheese blintz and strawberry perogie with a sweet cream sauce. It was like dessert for dinner, but I've never had a finer blintz. It was simply flawless, about 9" long crispy top and topped with powder sugar. The other entree was the kielbasa, stuffed Cabbage and sauerkraut/mushroom perogie. The kielbasa was housemade. It had a terrific smoky flavor to it served over a bed of sauerkraut. The stuffed cabbage was huge and reminded me of my childhood having them. Overall it was a very good meal and we will return to try other items. read more

I am a little conflicted, if let everyone know of how good the food and service was then it will get all crowded and busy. But seriously, this is the best Polish food I've had (other than my from wife and mother-in-law of course). I had the combination plate. It was delicious. They have a nice beer selection. I really enjoyed the Lech. The waiter was very nice. The restaurant is very nicely decorated inside. I will be back, no doubt about that. I may think about picking up Kielbasa sandwiches and taking them over to Glendale Park for a picnic. They do takeout. read more
