    Review Highlights - Poco Pazzo

The entire menu is available for takeout which is great particularly if you have kids and want to have dinner at home instead of going to the restaurant.

Got a really nice set of dishes for takeout. The homemade lasagna was excellent, fairly rich. The…read moretomato gnocchi also had a good texture, fluffy but not too dense. I particularly liked the saucing on the fusilli genovese. The penne pasquale I wasn't sure what made it more special, but it did the job. The meatballs were fine, though maybe too pricey for just 3 meatballs. The calamari could have used some work; not crispy enough. The chicken limone was delicious, though again maybe a bit overpriced. The chicken parm was excellent, with a good fry on the chicken and nicely pounded meat. The veal pizzaiola was decent, though perhaps I wish I had eaten it on site. All in all an excellent meal!

I had heard of it.. but not too much about it. I was…read morepleasantly surprised, especially after trying to make a reso by phone.. answering service was... a bit icy and was unable to leave a message.. haha... called back at a better time and made a reso, still then, unconvinced that I had made a good choice. This meet was for a guest out of town that I had not seen in many years and wanted the spot to be good... It WAS! The place at 7pm on a summer night was lit beautifully for being in a strip mall. The patio was full and lively. Lots of parking. Inside was romantically lit with high ceilings, an upper level for dining, music, open kitchen, a wine wall.... larger than I had imagined! Service was great! No regrets on our orders of a shrimp sambucca appy, spaghetti carbonara, and seafood fettuccine. Yummy. Leftovers for me! My dish did need a lot of salt, maybe personal taste but it was 100% unseasoned, even the pasta. Which was not al dente... but to be expected as busy places parboil everything. Chili flakes would have been appreciated or real cheese.. we asked and just got powdered parm. Still... good meals. My friend's carbonara had a lot of bacon and he enjoyed it. I would love to return and try something else! The menu was large and the white wine was delicious!

Busy lunchtime that died down after 3pm and was able to enjoy a bday lunch. My first time here. Had…read moreheard a lot about it. It's been here on Bell's Corners a long time. Quick thoughts... the space is older but nice. Paper napkin type place. Brunch ends at 3pm and then there is another menu. Continental meets Italian style dining with a little Italian style Market upfront. Service was professional, kind but minimal. Ordered was a Caesar salad with a grilled salmon filet added. Very healthy. The dressing was more of a vinaigrette served with lemon wedge. I did not eat the croutons, thats just me. They were ok. Salmon was well seasoned but was missing something, spice or a citrus sauce. I ate it all, as is. Light, light lunch. I never finish a dish and I did! Rolls came with my meal..they were just ok. Took them home! Nothing goes to waste on my table!! My company had the mushroom sandwich on focaccia. It came with a salad. She really liked it. The house white wine was quite good. We wore our coats for much of the visit as unfortunately, it was very cold in there and most seats are against the large windows. Dessert was offered but nothing was done extra for the birthday and that's ok. But good to note. We liked the stain glass art that hung and that was for sale. We also liked that we were not rushed out of there as my company had come from quite aways and we chatted for a bit. Water glasses never refilled though. I could see the cooks making the fresh linguine in the back for dinner service. Yum! I also met the owner. He was cordial. It didn't blow me away here but I'd like to try a pizza and a pasta item one day. I would recommend to others. Good location with plenty of parking. If you see one day on line that they are booked up re seating, call and they will take your reso that way as they likely have space.
