I went in with such excitement to shop for my son 11th birthday, I told the man at the counter that…read morethis was my first time here and I didn't know how to order balloon. He was kind enough to tell me that I just choose the ones I want, tell them when I need them and pay. Seemed absolutely simple enough, which it was. I grabbed a shopping cart and started shopping. The birthday balloons were directly in the front of the shop so it was convenient, it wasn't till I started going down the aisle that I could not stay in the shop any longer. It was stuffy, hot and humid in the shop then I realized they had no ac on, which is absolutely ridiculous in September. Sweat was literally going down my face when I waiting to pay. $100 later for balloons which I struggled with the prices but reminded myself it's for my son's birthday morning. My husband picked up the balloons the next day at 7pm, we set up the decor while my son slept. Birthday morning 6am my son was absolutely surprised and it was successful. What upset me is its only 12pm and the balloons are already deflating, we now have no decor for this evening for cake and gifts. I called the store and explained the situation, I was yelled at that I was told they only last 8 hours. I was absoulety not told this at all, if that was the case I would not have purchased such cheap ass heluim that obviously my photos are proof that they use. He kept being rude and I just hung up. I just supported your independant store and this is how they treat their customers. Oh party city how I wished you where still around , at least those balloons lasted a week. Avoid this place !!!!

I was really bummed out when Party City closed but then I found this gem. Party Plaza is almost as…read morebig as the Party City I used to go to and has everything you could need or want. It has every kind of balloon imaginable. I rented a single helium tank for a day or two and returned it when it was empty. Super convenient to be able to inflate my own balloons and not throw away a metal tank. The gentleman who helped me was very nice.

Some of you may recall that Party City stores across the country shut down and went out of business within the last two years. My wife and I happened to be in the area, so we decided to visit this store for nostalgia's sake, since we used to be big fans of Party City stores. Upon entering this store, the first thing I noticed was how fully stocked and well organized everything was from end to end and side to side. There was so much to see, so many colors of various types of merchandise and balloons everywhere. I grabbed a shopping cart and off we went. We walked every single aisle and were happy to see many of the same types of items we had purchased in the past when hosting numerous themed parties and school activities that required them. We added numerous items we wanted to use for our daughter's upcoming high school graduation and upcoming birthday. Sure, we could have possibly ordered these items on Amazon and saved a few cents, but I still like to touch and hold the items I wish to buy in my hands and see them up close for myself, instead of simply viewing everything on a computer screen and/or on my cell phone. Call me old-fashioned As we paid for our merchandise, the cashier explained that the reason this store and four other Party City stores still existed in Southern California was that they were independently owned. The bankruptcy of Party City recently forced all stores to close; however, independently owned stores were not impacted. This was a positive shopping experience, customer service was great and I am happy that Party City lives on.

I have been to different Party City stores, but this by far is my favorite. You can literally find…read moreanything and everything from birthday cards, candles, balloons, paper plates, cups, napkins, nice decorative objects to celebrate any event from birthday to wedding, graduation, to bridal and baby showers and holidays. During the holidays they have great deals/sales going on for up to 50%. Isn't that wonderful?? Employees are very nice, helpful and just simply great in every way. Store is big, clean and very easy to browse around and see what you can find. If you can't find something, they are right by your side to help you. Few days ago I walked in a little before closing time and was looking for a birthday card for my son who soon will be turning 30. Also got candles for him and to have extra in the house. This literally is a one stop store for all of your party needs! Don't go anywhere else and I am not getting no commission to speak so highly of this lovely, bright, beautiful store. Read other Yelp reviews, NOT the bad, negative ones.. Parking is shared with 4 other businesses. I don't know if they have a restroom or not. Thank you all!:-))
