TLDR - In my opinion, Samary is the best Doberman breeder I have ever done business with…read more Detailed version: Samary is the first dog breeder I ever spoke with that runs her kennel with a professional enterprise mindset, which immediately gets my respect. Her website is full of information and is not your usual dog breeder website made for free with a HTML look from 1997. Her puppies are all provided with an Embark DNA test to assure buyers what their dog comes from and what are the traits and health issues they may or may not have down the line. All dogs are raised from birth in a family environment so they are properly socialized with children, adults and everyday experiences they will encounter once transferred to a new home. Communication was constant, easy and it was a pleasure to talk to. Price was good and I've seen more expensive puppies from other breeders with way less data given to you to back that value of the puppy I plan to have more dobermans and when the time comes all I hope for is Samary is still in business. The breed is better with people like Samary in the field. Thank You for our new Dobie.

They deliver on the promise to train your dog, and they also train the human. Jose has the professional certifications and incredible career experiences working with dogs that make his skill level profound. My service dog died, and I had a major surgery which left me in serious need of my next service dog. I bought a 14 month old dog, kennel raised with a great disposition but no prior training of any sort. She was full of life and such wild behavior she was unsafe to transport. I was referred to Semper Amici by the breeder. Using only kindness, positive rewards and intensive training, Semper Amici had my dog calmly helping me all day: gliding through lobbies, taking elevators, going shopping, waiting for appointments, sitting quietly through meetings and live theater, navigating crowds etc. All this in 4weeks! If I had not experienced this training miracle myself, I would not have believed it possible. My dog adored her trainers and bloomed into a delightful service dog in an unbelievably short time. Of course I continue to reinforce the training - as we owners know we must. Jose was (and still is) responsive to my texts or calls. He is so honest, true to his word and always professional. I have had dogs for over 35 years, had trainers and self trained - but I have never experienced such intelligent, informed and effective trainers as the Semper Amici team. Their program is an incredible value - worth every penny, and then some. I cannot say enough good things about Semper Amici and the team that works there. They have my highest recommendation.
