I have three boys and our personal favorites are Dr. Bienstock (who is our primary pediatrician), Dr. Zucker and Dr. Namerow (who is now retired). We have been using this practice (which was recommended by doctors at The Valley Hospital) since our children were born (our oldest is now 20). If I ever have a problem with anything, I send an e-mail to Dr. Bienstock, who immediately responds. All of the doctors will provide you and your family with the most comprehensive, progressive, consumer oriented health care available. They make you feel that watching your children grow is just as important to them as it is to you! They have three additional locations in addition to Pompton Plains, there is one in Fairlawn, Mahwah, and Woodland Park -- one of these offices I am sure will be the right fit for you! I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for the best pediatricians in these areas! CONS: You may have to wait, especially for a sick visit and sometimes for a well visit (if there a lot of sick visits).

I've been bringing them there since they were 3 days old and they were so encouraging to me as a first time mom with post-partum depression. I don't recall which doctor, but one helped me with the nightmare of breastfeeding. The doctors always take their time at each appointment and don't rush anyone. Oh- the receptionists are soooooo sweet and helpful and truly do their best to get your child a timely appointment. The practice also has an emergency line and you can talk to a doctor after business hours. Oh and the entire office is super clean (and has been prior to covid). Sometimes you have to wait 10 mins before going into the room or sometimes you go right away. Dr. Golloub is a great doctor who is personable with every patient and makes you feel welcome into the whole practice. This Pediatric office is tucked away from the traffic of Speedwell Avenue in a small red brick building. You may miss the turn in from the street if you haven't been here before so give yourself a few extra minutes to arrive for your first appointment. The waiting room is small but appropriate for the number of people that have been present each time I have arrived. There is a little play corner set up by the check in counter to help keep your little ones occupied during their wait. Our wait times have tended to be very short when we arrived a few minutes before our appointments. Dr. Zambrano and her team have been excellent with the care of our child since the very first time we walked through the doors. My wife and I truly feel that the pediatric care for our child and family has been among the best we've experienced since we arrived in New Jersey about a year ago. The bedside manner of Dr. Zambrano is amazing to watch when our sick/hurt/scared child becomes relaxed and calm in her presence. It also works wonders for nervous and/or concerned parents. We appreciate that she is open to allowing parents to decide weather to use antibiotics or not if the situation allows for it.
