Wife and wife's sisters kids as well. So far I have been here 2x. Both have been pretty nice experiences. Very little wait while in the room. Sometimes its a bit hard to call and say, hey I'm outside! Walk in, say hi, and they direct you into a room right away. There is a nurse with a thick accent that kind of annoyed my wife the first time that we were there. She really pushed breast over formula, and didn't let up until I forced the topic to change. Other than that, she did a nice job. She really made sure that we were taking care of our son properly. We saw a different doctor the first visit, then Dr. D. the second time. Both were very friendly. They have been there for years and are great doctors. Both were very patient and very nice. All in all, I do not have anything really bad to say about this place. If has friendly staff, clean rooms, and fast service. Great place for your son or daughter!

I guess that's why he's been recognized as one of NJ's Top Doctors for the past couple of years. He actually takes the time to hear one out and figure out what the root of the problem is. Unfortunately after ten years we've made the decision to switch to another pediatric practice…read more Getting a same day sick appointment is usually impossible , front desk told me to go to urgent care. While at a well visit, I confirmed a prescription. Prescription was never sent in. I called the office the next day and was told they would talk to the doctor. Still nothing. Sent a message in the portal the next day after, and still no response. This was amongst a few other things that we had issues with in the past year, such as misdiagnosing bronchitis which urgent care did correctly. In this same time period, political emails were being sent out by the office which I'm attaching. I feel that the focus of the practice should be on quality health care. and unfortunately I don't think the quality is there anymore.

I also need my diabetes medication refilled. The person I was speaking to in the phone informed me that I needed a physical to get the prescription filled. I said I understand hence my call to schedule the visit. I was told my physician is still out so I opted for another male physician. I was told he was scheduled out to November and I would need to see a different physician or a nurse practitioner who are female. I was not comfortable with this and was abruptly told that was it. No refill of my critical prescription unless I scheduled with the person or their choice, not mine. In what world does a doctors office dictate the physician you have to see vs. the one you want. One you know and knows your personal history. Now I have to find a new doctor after being a patient for the past 20 years. The person I was speaking to is named Pam. I will advise anyone looking for a physician in the Montville, NJ area to avoid Montville Family Practice Associatesas they really do not care about you or your health.

They had time to clean up since it was not busy at all (no other patients except maybe two) and I saw staff sitting at their computers. I was waiting roughly 40 minutes (which is fine I get it) but Idk why they left vomit dried out (vomit can contain bloodborne pathogens like HIV or Hepatitis and infectious viruses like norovirus) for other young patients to touch and come in contact and get sick from. Do better!

The new woman that is not a doctor at HMH called me personally to demand payment and the threatened to not fufuill my monthly medications. My insurance company just compensated (out of the blue) because High Mountain Health is over billing patients. Dr Pepe is a great pediatrician. We have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see him. If my son is sick they always see him the same day. I can't tell you how many times I've called on a Saturday morning because my son was sick and Dr Pepe said to bring him in. On a few occasions when my son was very sick Dr Pepe called us on the weekend to check in and see how he was doing. Not many drs would do that. He is very thorough. Even if we go in for something minor he always takes his time and does a complete review and explains everything. The receptionist is very nice and always pleasant. The story about extra charges for asking questions is just crazy. I always ask questions during all visits - including well visits - and there is no extra charge for it. If you live in the Little Falls area and need a caring pediatrician who doesn't make you wait for an hour in the waiting room with a sick baby call Dr Pepe.
