Silver Lake Hospital has been a blessing for my mom and me. She arrives in very poor condition, yet…read morethe care she receives is outstanding. The medical team, therapists, staff, management, and even the security officers are incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, and they always make us feel safe and supported. I am given a private room with my mom and a sofa so I can stay overnight and help care for her, which brings me so much comfort. After a very difficult experience at another hospital in Brooklyn, the compassion here has helped me heal emotionally and trust the healthcare system again. Everyone--from the doctors and nurses to the physical, occupational, and respiratory therapists, nutritionists, and security--treats my mom like their own family and truly focuses on her recovery. It is a great place with compassionate caring staff, they go above and beyond to make sure patients and families feel comfortable are well taken care of. The nurses took time to talk to us several times a day and explain in detail my father's condition. My father spent about two months in this facility and the progress he made is incredible! Went to to pick up sleep study machine was called in to pick up machine, girl had no clue patient coming to pick up machine. Machine was missing attachment, answer I will have to reschedule machine missing attachment. Dr. Garg shouldn't hire unprofessional unwilling to do their job people. Not rocket science if 10 people coming for pick up 10 complete machines should be ready to go OR call patient before arrival that we didn't do our job in making sure we have complete set to give out, not after patient arrival that you will have to reschedule because of your incompetence.
