I'm the Managing Director of Stonepine Estate -- a 100-year-old private estate and event venue in Carmel Valley. We recently engaged PM Landscaping for a significant paver and hardscape project, and I wanted to share our experience. We collected detailed estimates from four companies. Paolo's bid came in on the higher end, but we selected PM Landscaping for reasons that proved exactly right. From the first conversation, Paolo and his team were unusually responsive -- to our questions, our ideas, and the nuances of a historic property like ours. Finding a contractor whose design sensibility actually fits a century-old estate isn't easy. Paolo understood that immediately. We also had a tight window -- work had to be completed between event seasons -- and Paolo gave us the highest degree of confidence he could deliver on time. He also offered the best integrated approach to tying the new hardscape into parallel garden improvements, which mattered a lot to us. The result: on time, on budget, and beautifully executed. The finished work looks like it's been part of the property for decades -- exactly what you want on a historic estate. Every member of his crew -- including Roselyn and Julio -- was professional and considerate throughout. That matters on a property like ours. I would not hesitate to work with Paolo again, and I recommend PM Landscaping without reservation to anyone seeking resort-grade hardscape and landscaping work. read more

A huge thank you to PM Landscaping Services for recently completing the new turf installation in my front yard. The entire team was extremely professional--polite, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. The transformation was incredible; in what felt like no time at all, I had beautiful new green turf that completely refreshed the look of my yard. Five stars to Paolo and his team--they were amazing. I will definitely be reaching out again when I'm ready for Phase 2! read more

My yard was an embarrassment. After the initial consultation, it took only 4 days to transform a weed infested mess into a wonderful garden and patio. I'm sure the value of my home improved as well. The team was great, respectful and responsive. Highly! read more

They did a roof cleaning job on a building next to our house and not only were we forced into our house because of the chemical spray they used. They left a big mess in our yard covering everything with debris from the roof. They knew they made the mess and made no effort to contact us. read more

Promised to send the quote the same evening but later texted she was stuck in a meeting. I felt we are not the priority and we're able to get other quotes. They did not inspire confidence during our walk through. The head maintenance guy wasn't fluent in English and couldn't answer questions about tree stakes. He covered some gopher holes even though I didn't ask him to, this made it harder for me to find the opening later. read more

Horrible! They mow and weedwack dirt + rocks, not grass like traditional landscapers. They spend about 30 hours a week at our apartment complex for some reason, mostly running a riding mower over sand/dirt/rocks for hours on end. To finish up they blow all the dust and leaves onto your car. All employees are illegals and don't speak a lick of english. 0 respect for others property. I've never seen such a poor operation with lack of regard for normality. Worst landscapers I've seen working ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, absolute trash. read more

For the past few years, we have been contemplating landscaping our front yard. After contacting and getting quotes from several different companies, we reached out to PM Landscaping Service. From the first meeting, we knew they were the right company for us. Paolo, Roselyn, and their entire Team are very professional and knowledgable. They gave us suggestions regarding everything from the excavation process, the installation of turf, and various flower and trees that would not only look beautiful in our front yard, but also thrive in our Monterey Peninsula climate. Paolo and Roselyn even went above and beyond by taking us to a local nursery to look at different kinds of plants for inspiration. PM Landscaping Service does amazing work, and their top-notch Team is as hard working as they come. In fact, we are so pleased with their work, we will be using them for our backyard renovation in the near future. Thank You PM Landscaping Service for making our front yard look beautiful. This lawn service is fabulous. They plant and do maintenance on our yard. We could not be happier!

I have had PM Landscaping taking care of my yard for several years. The team does quality work routinely for my regular maintenance. I have also used them to do landscaping on my property. Prices have risen in the last few years as they're material and labor costs have risen, but I greatly appreciate that Paolo stands behind his company and workers. While there have been issues over the years, they work with me to resolve them and have always listened to my concerns. read more

Terrible! Mow and blow mentality, did not hedge or prune and cut drip lines that killed plants. Thought the high price would give good service, you do not get what you pay for read more

We needed to replace our very cracked concrete driveway that had a severely steep grade and drainage concerns. We felt so confident when Paulo studied, designed and explained his proposal. His crew, especially Jose and Juan Casas, were amazing! Always on time, tidied up the area every end of day, and paid attention to the tiniest detail. Truly masters of their craft, the results of new pavers, a significantly smoother grade, channel drains, downspout connections, beautiful landscaping with plants and soft lighting far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend P.M. Landscaping--every encounter was professional and the results with Paulo's artistic talent will be a masterpiece! read more

Paolo and his team are top of the line professional landscapers. Having newly purchased an historic home in Carmel as a vacation home, we were referred to PM Landscaping for some yard maintenance. We consulted with Paolo initially who understood our need to keep the historic nature of our property intact. He helped by creating border trees for privacy and offered some simple ideas for the yard until we knew what we were going to do with the home and property long term. We recently decided to have the front of the home re-landscaped with a fountain area, new stone work, and plantings. We are more than pleased with this incredible change in the appearance of our lovely cottage. Paolo's design and plant suggestions were perfect and the team managed to efficiently install lighting and irrigation and finish the project in just a few weeks! Now when we come to Carmel, we pull up to our cottage and and feel truly at home. read more
