We were in need of a mason to get a cement roofed carport repaired. The ceiling was spalling and…read morepieces had fallen on the car. Rusted re-bar was exposed. We needed it repaired quickly. This was on behalf of our son's home in Hawaii. Mike responded to our inquiry with a return phone call within the hour. He came the next day to assess what we needed and explained a few options. We opted for the quickest fix that would enable us to safely use the carport right away for another 7 to 10 years before the day comes when a new one needs to be built. The house was built in 1945, and the carport may be that old. His bid was a very fair price. He was available to come the very next day and finished the project in one day. He repaired the ceiling and repaired the top of the roof/patio area with a new sealed top coat so it wouldn't leak through the cement any longer. Mike is a consummate professional. He telephoned us when he was on his way. He listened to our needs and advised accordingly with his expertise of the different options. He is personable, kind, and wow, what a hard worker! It was a long day in the heat. He worked in over 90 degree weather and never complained once, he was actually joyful doing the work he does. He is an expert mason and it shows. He knew exactly the materials needed and the best way to do the job. The job turned out great, it looks great on the patio and the patches on the underside of the ceiling are now safe and stronger than before. No more water slowly leaking through the old cement roof.
