Cornerstone is as the musical wonder Tina Turner sang in the 80's "SIMPLY THE BEST." Termites and the wind made a combined effort to destroy our old fence, so before the termites moved in to our house (I hear those jerks refuse to pay their share of the utilities) we saved up for a new fence. We met with three different contractors, one I had to call back twice to get the quote, which (I promise I'm not kidding) was $35,000 for a simple fence around a shoe box house. The other contractor was kind of put off from the get go, I felt like I was bothering him and wanted less than the first contractor, but when my wife asked him a question he didn't answer and looked at me like, "really, why is she talking to me?" Yikes. Then Cornerstone came - they are so incredibly professional, they answered all of our questions (like even when my six year old started asking questions and doing the endless questioning of, "but why?" they answered all of his questions also. Amazingly they saw a sad attempt of a fence one of our neighbors selling their house tried to build that after a month was already warping. They offered to fix it for no costs. Their bid was so low that we thought we were missing something, so we asked them to come and talk to us, they did the next day after work on another job, they clearly had been working all day and were tired/dirty, but they never complained, were incredibly polite and again answered all of our questions. We went with them still nervous they were too good to be true and we were wrong - THEY WERE EVEN BETTER THAN WE HOPED. They worked all day and went above and beyond. Numerous times they could have built around large rocks and tree stumps but they took the time to remove, move, or asked us what we wanted. Again numerous times they offered to do more complex work that made it far more difficult for them, at no extra cost. When it came time to fix the small fence our neighbor built they didn't fix it, they removed it and built a new fence and again never asked for a penny more. When we thanked them they just smiled and said they were glad to help. In conclusion (and no judgement if you skipped my ramblings) if you are considering a project I would 100% go with Cornerstone. They will be one of the lowest bids, guaranteed they will work tirelessly on your job, they'll do way more work than you ask for and most importantly it will look both amazing while being incredibly sturdy. And if that's not enough, I'd book them soon, regularly my neighbors throughout the neighborhood ask me who built our fence and at least three of my neighbors, that I know of, have contacted them for projects. read more

These guys are awesome. They have been maintaining and beautifying my two acre property for nearly three years now. And I have never had issues with their work or with the crew. Their workmanship is always outstanding. All my visitors always comment on the fence they built. (The solar lighting they added made the fence look so modern! especially at night!). Their recent work includes cleaning up some items and wild brush on my property as well as helping me get my vegetable garden started--leveling out the land, laying out irrigation, installing the bordering fence. Some of the suggestions Jordan provided demonstrated that he had a lot of experience and knowledge in his industry. He has never steered me wrong. Moreover, in our multiple conversations with him or his staff regarding the details of the work and the particulars that I desire, I found that the gentlemen were all very honest--& I am referring specifically to the finances regarding all the projects I have hired them for. They have been very upfront explaining what is what and why this or that costs what it does. They worked with me and within my budget. Not once did I feel that their workmanship or professionalism were questionable like other reviewers--seems to me when someone finds problems with EVERY thing...maybe the problem actually lies within them. Cornerstone is legitimately the best. Cornerstone is the absolute best! I have used many of their services and would use them for everything if I could like: buying my wife's Anniversary Present, figuring out my Taxes, planning my kids birthday parties - whatever job they take on they always go above and beyond. Over the years I have used their services for: building a fence, installing French drains, removing 5 tons of dirt, removing and installing pavers (both in front and behind my house) removing and building my fence. On two occasions my neighbors were so impressed with Cornerstone they hired them as well. Both my Mother, Sister and Mother-in-Law have used Cornerstone and also had great experiences with them. All of their employees are awesome, hardworking, knowledgeable and incredibly polite. Cornerstone's bids are always a bargain. The times that their bids have been higher it is because there is was so much more work than I realized and that I was getting more than a competitive deal - they did not charge me for both removing 5 tons of soil, but also pavers they brought in! I needed to repave my entire back, side and front yard. I received multiple estimates and Cornerstones was both the lowest and offered to do the most thorough work. Then I had an emergency and had to buy a new toilet and redo plumbing on the weekend, which cost thousands and thoughts I would have to cancel the job altogether. Cornerstone worked with me and offered to do the most important work now and would come back later for the rest. During the project we realized the grade needed to be changed (because I had changed my mind from their estimate), Cornerstone at their expense removed the somewhere above five tons of dirt that they had to spend a day digging, loading onto wheelbarrows loading onto their 2-ton truck and taking to the dump. They never complained or asked for extra money. Their workers were always polite, friendly and worked hard. I worried about them for the six days they were here, they seemed to run from job to job and almost never stopped working. They are the best and I look forward to working with them again and again. Daniel and all the gentleman that he has working with him were incredible!! They took out four trees, about 10 bushes and they trimmed our Yucca tree. They also relandscaped our front yard, put down about 40 bags of mulch, put all the landscaping rocks back in place and then put the pavers that was the border back in place. And our yard is huge. They kept their sense humor and they kept smiling even when they got tired at the end of the day. When they left everything was swept, clean, and perfect. And to my surprise Daniel went into the backyard and all the bare areas that the grass stopped growing he put down soil and seed on his own. Also one of the gentleman that was here fixed our gate just to be nice because the latch had broken and that made my day. I will be hiring them for other projects around this house. We presented Cornerstone with quite a challenge, 2500 square feet of 30 year old dead bermuda, gophers galore, and ground squirrels coming in from neighboring ranch. We wanted drought tolerant and animal resistant landscaping with drip installed, that was attractive. They delivered. A few blips came up, due to the age of landscaping and what previous owners had in the ground, but they were a able to adapt and come up with really acceptable alternatives. The results are great. We love it and our neighbors love it. The team was polite and respective of all the comings and goings at our house. The dogs loved them, if that tells you anything. I needed pavers laid for a single-car driveway and landscaping for an 80-foot weed-choked gopher-infested strip between the sidewalk and street. These guys are awesome. They worked so hard and did such a great job. We had an ivy wall that was, at least, 20 years old. Some of the trunks woven into the fence were 6" across. Nonetheless, we have a fence again and they were finished in just 3 hours. Other workers have a tendency to do little and take a long time, but we were quoted a price for the job (because that's what we asked for) and we got exactly what we paid for. What a load off my shoulders! Actually Cornerstone hauled two loads of tree and construction debris from our home. Daniel and his crew moved boxes and old paint from our storage area, cleaned up an oak tree that fell in the storm, moved garage cabinets, bookcases, workbenches and other items with no complaints or cussing.
