The brewers were brewing, and the space inside was nice. They also had an expansive outdoor area and plenty of parking. The drinks were well done, lots of flavors and varieties on tap. No one complained about the beers though the drinks were small for the price. The food venue towards the back was pumping out pizzas from a giant pizza oven with a blazing fire. I ordered some appetizers from the menu for my team to share. Meatballs, elote, and waffle fries. The apps were not easily shareable but we made it work. Waffle fries were generic and not crispy enough. The elote was corn pancakes rather than corn on the cob. My mistake for not fully reading the menu. Flavor was good but messy. Meatballs were good in terms of flavor and consistency, got a decent amount for the price too. The meatballs were the best bite. The pizza is trying to be New Haven style but is missing the structure. Way too floppy and heavy for the style of crust. Needs to be lighter on the sauce and cooked just a couple minutes more to really solidify that bottom and get rid of the tip droop. Cheese had a good elasticity to it though, good cheese pulls. As an informal event venue, it's pretty good but pricy for what you get. As a local brewery, if it can keep its events constant then it will do well. As a food venue, it's high for where it is but the quality is reasonable. A few more shareable apps beyond pizza and just a few small tweaks to the pies and they will be great.

I had no idea what to expect, but this is a beautiful brewery. The silver tree inside is probably my favorite part, honestly. So I'm the worst and I'm allergic to beer, but luckily they have some hard seltzer options. I tried both, can confirm Zombie is incredible and officially one of my fave hard seltzers I've had. I liked the wormhole one as well, but I'm a huge fan of cranberry so that's why I liked the zombie one more. Can't wait til they start serving food here and the kitchen opens officially, I love it!

People fish out in the pond, the park has a public swimming pool,there are little grills and tables for people to cook out there. I had plenty of room to put up my full volleyball set, to put out a horseshoe set,for the teens to play football, for double dutch, etc. Although Keney Park sometimes gets a bad rap, we felt safe. Outside of people who were interested in possibly renting the place, or the occasional person knocking on the locked door, who might've wanted to use the bathroom, we really weren't bothered. And the facilities manager tells you that you are not required to allow people to use the bathroom because it's personally rented for your use it's not for public use. I felt it was perfect for our event, I was comfortable. Just leave the place the way you receive it. Theres a dumpster outside. Book in advance, I was only able to get a Sunday because this place books up quick. A great venue in Hartford.

"Back in the banquet line Some get the gravy"…read more( Joni Mitchell) We attended a "Year In Review" celebratory dinner for a charitable organization we've supported for years, and the good folks at Farminton Gardens served well over 100 guests flawlessly in their banquet room. We started off in their gorgeous atrium bar for a glass of wine and chit chat before we were seated in their main banquet room. The room was quite large and easily accomodated our group. There was a podium up front and two video screens to display slide shows and the like. The sound and video systems were excellent. The dinner buffet line was set up in the rear of the room and we were called up table by table. We were very impressed by the variety and quality- rolls, salad, asparagus spears, mushroom polenta, salmon, short ribs, and cipollini onions. Dessert was individual trays of pastries and a single creme brulee for each table. This was my first visit to Farmington Gardens and I walked away very impressed with the way they handled our event.
