The sauna used to have clean, crisp white towels and robes that just enhanced that relaxing spa feeling. They have recently incorporated grey sheets and black towels. In addition to looking cheap and taking away from that clean spa look, I am wondering how they are sanitizing them. You can't bleach black towels. The new black robes are for stick people. Part of that relaxing spa feeling is having a clean white robe wrapped around you about three times. Slight exaggeration, but as it stands, depending on the robe I get, I can't go from red light to sauna or sauna to bathroom without exposing everyone with the 7 inch gap in front. I think they are basically cutting corners And not thinking about the guests comfort. I LOVE the girls who work the front desk/clean the rooms, but I am shopping around. $200 a month in exchange for their poor decisions isn't worth it.

They also have showers here so you are able to rinse off after a good sweat. I LOVE that they had robes and slippers for you to use. This studio has a beautiful aesthetic and feels very feminine but all are welcome here. The managers were all very kind and knowledgeable about the benefits of red light and infrared sauna. I hear another studio may open in Scottsdale which I'm looking forward to since this one is pretty far from me. But this place is nice and clean and new, I love it!

No one ever answered the phone or returned my left voicemails. Upon arriving at my scheduled appointment I was surprised to find the lights were off and the door was locked. There were two phone numbers written down and taped to the window of the establishment. After contacting both numbers someone texted me back indicating that they did not know there was an appointment scheduled and they're short staffed and couldn't fulfill the scheduled appointment. I found that to be very odd because I had booked the appointment several days prior. I explained I wouldn't be coming back and would like to be refunded for the gift certificate that was purchased. I was told that someone would be in contact with me about reimbursement and I haven't heard from anyone since then. That was three weeks ago. Do not visit this business. They are scammers!!

Once I arrived, she informed me that she couldn't perform the massage because she was covering the front desk after her receptionist didn't show up. Instead, I was handed off to a completely different therapist that I never booked with. The massage itself was incredibly aggressive, uncomfortable, and felt extremely rushed. Very little oil was used, and I ended up with friction burns and red marks across my back from how rough it was. I came in with mild lower-back pain and left barely able to bend over or move comfortably. My back feels substantially worse now than before the appointment. What upset me most was the response afterward. When I told them that my back was much worse and that I was struggling to move, I was met with a blank stare and told, "She's been doing this for 25 years," as if that somehow addressed the issue. As I was visibly in pain and wheezing, the only follow-up I received was, "Okay, thank you, you're all set, bye." For a premium-priced service, there was zero concern for the customer experience, no attempt to make things right, and no acknowledgment that something may have gone wrong. I'm now out $175 and honestly feel like I would have received a better massage at half the price somewhere else. I also have serious doubts about the online ratings. The business shows a near-perfect score, yet there are numerous negative experiences that don't seem to be reflected in that rating. Perspire Sauna Studio is one of the leading companies that does it in Phoenix and surrounding areas. They have several location in town, including this one at Cannon Beach (Mesa). I made an appointment and stopped by on a Sunday at 4 p.m. for my session. Here's a run-down for how it works. After checking in, they will bring you to a private room. You then have 40 minutes to hang out in their infrared sauna. You control the temperature, setting (different lights correspond to different health benefits), and weather you sit there in silence or make use of the TV directly outside of the sauna. They have Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube available. Saunas can also be shared by two people if you'd like to bring a friend or your significant other. There's also a red light therapy option that you can add directly inside your sauna. After your 40-minutes are off, the remaining 20 minutes of your session are to wind down. You can take a shower with a twist. There's a regular shower inside your room, which also has snow shower capabilities. What is a snow shower you may ask? 40 seconds of 45 degree water with the push of a button. I tried it and it was super cold! I had to go in and go out and go back in, rinse repeat, several times. But hey, if you're into cold plunges and stuff like that, you may be able to brave the elements better than me! After you shower, they have a cold eucalyptus towel for you to use. So refreshing! You'll come out of your session feeling good. This is the standard experience. You can add salt therapy as an add-on. You can purchase water, electrolytes, other beverages, etc. And you can either come regularly with a monthly membership (several options are available) or buy a package of sessions (the more you buy, the bigger the discount). And of course, you can pay more for single sessions whenever you'd like. O and they provide you with towels, plus, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower.
