The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Even with my complicated schedule this week (medical appointments) she managed to work me into their schedule. She was absolutely excellent. And each of their team members that I spoke with, also had that same quality of kindness. Just genuine NICE people. Willie came over to clear the drain problem and he's an awesome guy. He figured out immediately the best approach to get the clog out. And he showed me the images with a special camera down in the drain. He's by far the most considerate person I've ever had over here. My two dogs were especially bad and barked terrible at him.. and he remained calm, relaxed and pleasant. He even saved one of them out in the street because I had left the gate open. This was the MOST outrageous plumbing contractor I have EVER used. (The water heater was covered…read moreunder a home warranty. Choice Home Warranty pays for the water heater and installation labor.) The old water heater was 6 1/2 yrs old and started leaking through the tank. When it was replaced it was through a home warranty ( different warranty co.) and all the lines and shut off had to be replaced as per the home warranty company. Now, 6 yrs later, 2 of the 3 lines have to be replaced as per THIS company for liability reasons. I retired from the construction business of 30 + yrs and have never in that time seen 2 lines cost $700. There was $430 labor plus the cost of the 2 lines. The total started at $800 and the only variable was I was going to take care of disposal, $100. This was totally outrageous. I know they had a way to go to get here but, THEY contracted out to Choice Home Warranty and I guess according to "Chris" they have to do that per the company. It seems amazing how they have to undo those lines to install the water heater ,BUT, changing those lines cost $400+ In labor. Be careful using this company, they will rob you blind to make up for what the warranty company doesn't want to do.
