I've been training with Josh at Overperform for the past few months, and I'm really happy with the…read moreprogress I've made. When I first started, my main goal was to lose body fat while building a stronger, more athletic physique. Since working with Josh, I've gotten significantly leaner, while also seeing a huge improvement in my overall fitness and endurance. Running has become a regular part of my routine, and I can now comfortably run for much longer and at a much better pace than when I started. What I appreciate most about Josh is that the training feels very personalized. He pays attention to how my body responds, adjusts exercises when something doesn't feel right, and makes sure I'm progressing without just pushing weight for the sake of it. He also keeps me accountable with my nutrition and overall routine, which has made a big difference in my results. The environment at Overperform is also great. It feels much more focused and personal than a commercial gym, and I actually look forward to my training sessions. If you're serious about improving your physique and overall fitness and want a trainer who genuinely pays attention to your progress, I definitely recommend Josh and Overperform.

I cannot recommend Priscilla enough for your training needs! Gyms were always intimidating for me,…read moreand consistency was difficult to maintain, but Priscilla really changed that for me. She motivated me to continually work on the things I struggled with while still meeting me where I was when it came to mobility and strength (I was a girly with tense hips and a weak core ). She also knew when to call me out when things were getting too easy and I was trying to be sly. It was truly the kind of partnership I needed to push myself out of my comfort zone. I went from hating the idea of going to the gym to being eager to find out if the week was going to start with a lower or upper body day. But Priscilla's care went beyond our sessions. As a graduate student, there were times when I would procrastinate a little too hard, and she always encouraged me to prioritize studying when the semester started to get tougher. She was always so understanding and considerate when my personal life was lifing, while still motivating me to get back to it when I could. That balance of compassion and accountability made all the difference. She truly fosters a sense of community both inside and outside of the gym. I'm so grateful for the confidence, strength, and consistency she helped me build during my time there!

I never missed a training with V. I was always rushing to her class to get my heart pumping after a hard working day. One of my favorite Pilates instructors, Juliette, works here, and after seeing her post about it on her stories, I decided to give it a try. The first class is free, so I figured I had nothing to lose! My first class definitely humbled me, but I loved the environment. It's so motivating being surrounded by strong women who are all there working hard and trying to improve themselves. The workout is set up in different stations, and you complete about 3-4 rounds at each one. I love that you can choose your own weights, which makes it easy to challenge yourself and progressively overload as you get stronger. They also break up the classes into upper body, lower body, and full body days, which I really appreciate. Now I actually look forward to coming back every week! It's exactly what I was looking for Parking: Free with plenty of spaces!

I joined SALTY with the goal of improving my health during pregnancy. Unfortunately, my experience…read morewas the opposite of what I expected. At 26 weeks pregnant, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Wanting to do everything possible to keep my baby and myself healthy, I reached out to SALTY to schedule the nutrition consultation that was included with the package I had purchased. Their website clearly states that members with my package receive a one-hour consultation with a nutritionist. When I requested to schedule this through my personal assistant, I was told she needed to check with the owner. After multiple follow-ups over several weeks--and while I continued paying for my membership--I received no response from management. I finally insisted on speaking directly with the owner because I needed guidance for a medical condition during my pregnancy. When the owner eventually contacted me, I was informed that the nutrition consultation advertised with my package was not actually available. Instead, she offered to send me a few recipes and snack suggestions from a nutritionist she knew. Unfortunately, the information provided was very basic and not the personalized nutrition consultation that had been promised. I spoke with the front desk and requested a refund. While they refunded the remaining unused classes, they declined to refund the full package, even though one of the advertised services--a one-hour nutrition consultation--was never provided. The lack of communication, the inability to access an advertised service, and the added stress of trying to manage a high-risk pregnancy made this an extremely disappointing experience. As a women's gym that promotes supporting women through different stages of life, I expected more compassion, transparency, and follow-through.
